Great Fitzen vacation

I always enjoy coming back to Joke and Frank for a week in the summer to ride my bike. I feel warmly welcomed from the very first moment and appreciate the lovingly furnished apartment and thoughtful details. You can quickly reach the surrounding places by bike, and there is always something new to discover. I always look forward to returning.

All is well !

We liked the apartment very much. It is not very large (one room), but very tastefully
tastefully decorated, practically furnished, equipped with a very good induction cooker
and very tidy and clean.
The host family Wijkhuijs is very friendly and helpful.
The village of Biggekerke alone has nothing to offer, but with a car you can quickly get to many
worthwhile destinations.
We will definitely come back for beach and dune walking.

Relaxing time

We had lovely days at Joke and Frank Wijkhuijs. The friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts deserve special mention.
The flat was very quiet and equipped with everything. You can easily reach the towns of Middelburg, Zoutelande, Westkapelle and Domburg by bike. We are already looking forward to the next time in Biggekerke!!!!

Very relaxing vacation

The apartment is exactly as the photos show, very tastefully furnished and extremely clean. The beds are made and there are enough kitchen towels and bath towels. The landlords are extremely helpful and very friendly, thank you very much for your sympathy. The smart TV even has Netflix in German, but I was also able to connect my DVD player without any problems. The place is quiet, the sleep is restful. Only 5 to 6 kilometers to Vlissingen and Middelburg.....to the beaches less. I can only recommend this apartment all around and will definitely come back next year with my husband.

great holiday apartment (in a quiet location)

Our overall assessment is very positive. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and quickly settled in with our belongings. In the small yet compact holiday apartment, we, as a couple, did not lack space. A wardrobe is built into the hallway, offering plenty of storage space. The living room, including the kitchen, is stylishly furnished with attention to detail. In addition to ample workspace in the kitchen, there is a nice small counter where you can comfortably have breakfast and in the evening, for example, enjoy a glass of wine or beer.

The bathroom was very clean and equipped with a walk-in shower and a nice sink, modernly furnished.

In addition to the living space, we had the option to store our eBikes in the garage protected from the weather. The garage is also locked and can be opened with the holiday apartment key. Upon arrival, the landlord also offered us a cable drum to facilitate the charging of our eBikes. Additionally, after 2 days without asking, we received a new fan due to the high temperatures in the vacation apartment.

The only slight downsides come up if one expects more from the surroundings. For example, to go shopping, one must drive to the nearest town, and the beach is about 15 minutes away. 5km away and we did not find any cafes in Biggekerke except for a snack bar. However, we were aware of this before booking since we have been vacationing in Zeeland for years. By bike, you can quickly (~15 minutes) reach Vlissingen, Middelburg, or Zoutelande.

Overall, we would book the accommodation again at any time because we felt very comfortable there!

Empfehlenswert

We were there for a week, had around 35 degrees every day, the location of the apartment was good, with the bike you could quickly reach the sea, but you could also walk there easily.
The apartment had everything you needed, it was equipped with everything necessary.
You also had the opportunity to spend the evenings outside on the terrace.
The only thing that was not quite so good, for which the owners are not to blame, was that the apartment did not cool down at night at the outdoor temperatures. We would love to come again.

We had a wonderful and relaxing week. The hosts are very nice, warm, and helpful. The apartment is located on a quiet street and has everything you need. It is lovingly and cosily furnished. Many places were easily reachable by bike or car in a short amount of time. It was our first time there, and we will definitely visit this accommodation again.

Tolle Ferienwohnung

Very nice area. There is not much in the village itself, but we had our bicycles with us and could lock them in the garage. With the bike, you could explore a lot and were in Zoutelande in about 15 minutes. Very great, modern, and well-maintained apartment with very nice hosts. Were there for the first time and not the last time. Highly recommended.

The places Domburg, Zoutelande, Middelburg, and Vlissingen were easily reachable by bike. The beach is also recommended. Everything was great !!!

Small but nice!

The flat is located on the outskirts of Biggekerke, a small, quiet village. There are no shops or restaurants in the village itself, you can find everything in Zoutelande, 3 km away. We always combined shopping or eating out with an excursion. You can rent bicycles in Zoutelande or Koudekerke
The flat is on the upper floor of a detached house and is reached via a steep staircase. It is very modern, functional and comfortably furnished with attention to detail. The equipment is very extensive and leaves nothing to be desired. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable.

The holiday home is located in a small, quiet but beautiful village. It is centrally located so that you can cycle to the beach or to the surrounding towns such as Vlissingen etc. The apartment is really stylish and we wanted for nothing. The flat is really stylish and we didn't want for anything. We immediately felt very comfortable. The hosts welcomed us very well and always helped us with any questions. All in all, it was a beautiful and relaxing holiday for us. Thank you for the great hospitality. We will gladly come again!

Holiday in Biggerkerke

We were warmly welcomed by the Wijkhuijs family and they were very helpful.
The holiday apartment is lovingly furnished and exceptionally clean, nothing is missing!
There is a good storage space in the garage for e-bikes, where you can also charge the bicycles.
The location of the apartment is quiet and you can quickly reach anywhere by car or bike - Vlissingen, Zouderlande, Westkapelle, Middelburg, Domburg... even the beach.
We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend a vacation there!
