Description
Our bright, modern and lovingly furnished holiday home Seerose offers 105 square metres of space for up to eight people. The living space extends over two levels.
On the ground floor is the large living and dining area with open kitchen. This is fully equipped for eight people with fridge and freezer, ceramic hob and oven, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster, egg boiler, hand blender and everything you need for cooking. The smallest guests are also catered for with colourful children's tableware and two high chairs (TrippTrapp and Ikea).
In addition to the heating, the cosy fireplace in the living room provides a comfortably warm feeling. The sofa invites you to spend evenings playing games (board games are available in the house). The media equipment in the living room includes a TV with satellite connection, a DVD and Blue Ray player, as well as a music system with Bluetooth connection.
A bedroom with double bed and TV and a windowed bathroom with whirlpool, sauna, shower, WC and washing machine are also located on the ground floor. A baby cot is available free of charge for the smallest guests.
A staircase leads to the open gallery on the 1st floor. This can be converted into an open bedroom for two people by means of a pull-out couch.
On the first floor there are two additional bedrooms, each with a TV. One with a double bed and one with two single beds. A workplace with a desk has also been set up here. An ideal place to move your home office during your holidays. Since there is free WiFi with a fast fibre optic cable connection throughout the house, nothing stands in the way of the next online conference.
The windowed bathroom on the first floor includes a shower and WC.
The house has a covered terrace with garden furniture and a storage room. Here you will find, among other things, the Weber grill and the oars for the rowing boat, which is available to our guests free of charge from May to October. You are welcome to rent an e-motor for the boat on site. The holiday home is surrounded by a garden with lawn and old trees. Your cars can be parked in the double parking space at the house.
The bathing beach at the lake is about 80m away on foot. This spot is also suitable for the smallest guests, as the water here is very shallow.

Location and surroundings of object
The region around Lake Dümmer is not only a wonderful recreational area but is also strategically located for excursions to Schwerin, Wismar or Ludwigslust. For children, there is an adventure nature trail only 500 m from the holiday home. Hamburg or the Baltic Sea can be reached by car in about an hour
For a bicycle tour on the well-developed cycle paths of the region, you can rent bicycles directly in the holiday village.
In the village you will find a nice children's playground and a bakery that is open on Sundays. You can buy regional products in various farm shops, where you can also often get coffee and cake in the associated farm café.
The Alpincenter in Wittenburg (12 km) is also easy to reach by bike. There you will find leisure facilities such as skiing and snowboarding, tobogganing, a go-kart and quad track, a high ropes course with adventure playground, as well as beach volleyball courts and various gastronomic facilities.
In Zachun (20km) you can also use the possibility of a water ski facility.
Our beautiful state capital - the 'City of the Seven Lakes', offers you a wide range of entertainment and culture. To get to know the city, we recommend a city tour with the 'Petermännchenexpress' and a trip with the 'White Fleet' on Lake Schwerin.
The historic old town with its castle, theatre and museums is also worth seeing.
Fancy a spot of shopping? No problem, Schwerin's city centre offers you a wide range of shopping opportunities. Have fun exploring.
The Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg and the Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Lübeck and Hamburg can be reached in about 1 hour.

Great holiday home in a beautiful location, perfect for a relaxing vacation.
The house is very beautiful and lovingly furnished, so we all felt very comfortable right away. We were especially pleased with the welcome gift and the nice card upon our arrival. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything you need. We walked to the bakery in the morning. We only missed a small grocery store. We can fully recommend the holiday home and would book it again at any time.

Completely satisfied
We spent a weekend with the whole family at the accommodation. The house is simply very beautiful. Super equipped. The lake is really nice for walking and Schwerin is a 30-minute drive away for a trip.

Holiday home gem in the middle of Mecklenburg- Pomerania
We can highly recommend the destination "Dümmer Lake" and especially the "Schwedenhaus Seerose" to all seeking relaxation. We were there for a week in early September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The property is located in a holiday home settlement in the sense of a "gated community" and is therefore pleasantly quiet and safe, as private use is guaranteed without hordes of water sports enthusiasts, summer vacationers, or partying teenagers.
The house is located in the "second row," meaning not directly on the lakeshore (less than a 2-minute walk), and the distance to the beach and piers ensures a peaceful atmosphere on the private property, whether you're lounging, sunbathing, or reading on the lawn (or optionally in the shade under beautiful old trees) or on the terrace of the house.
Everything was meticulously cleaned upon handover, which we value highly. The Seerose offered almost too much space for us as a childless couple with its 3 bedrooms, but we specifically wanted a property with such tasteful furnishings, so we chose it over other smaller and more affordable options. "What you see is what you get" is true here in relation to the catalog photos!
The furniture is in a country house style and shows the good taste of the friendly landlords, which made us feel at home very quickly. Individual details such as pictures/decorations create a very cozy atmosphere. Features - sorely missed in other holiday homes - are completely normal there, especially in the kitchen, which is perfectly equipped for self-catering: sharp knives, peelers, garlic press, sufficient dishes/pots, dishwasher, range hood, etc.! Only a microwave was not available.
However, the rest of the equipment leaves nothing to be desired: whirlpool bath and sauna cabin in the lower bathroom, even a rarity like a washing machine. The WiFi is great, and the beds are super comfortable!
We would love to come back!

Beautiful holiday home to feel comfortable in.
We spent a week with the family in the beautiful holiday home and can only recommend it to anyone. From the beginning, we felt comfortable and welcome. There were toys in the house for the children, as well as Viking chess and a swing in the garden. We could sit wonderfully on the terrace and barbecue extensively. The beds in the house are very comfortable and the kitchen is really well equipped. There are no wishes left unfulfilled. The whole house was very clean and tastefully furnished. Communication with the management worked perfectly and we received great tips for excursions with the children. The lake is only about 1 minute from the house and we were able to make a great trip with our own rowing boat, which belongs to the house. Thanks to the management, we also got life jackets for the children. Unfortunately, the week was too short. We would have liked to stay longer and will definitely come back!

Family vacation
We spent Easter with the whole family in this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable here. We were also pleased with the lovely guest gift and the tasteful Easter decorations. Everything was prepared very lovingly.
We lacked nothing, the beds were very comfortable and not saggy, the kitchen was top equipped and our grandchildren could play great in the garden and by the lake. Everything was very clean and we had plenty of space. We can only recommend the house.

Family holiday
It was a super nice holiday. The kitchen is more than adequately equipped, there is everything you need for a successful holiday. The hosts are very nice and immediately took care of all our questions and wishes. Even the bedroom was specially measured for us to clarify whether our own necessary travel bed would fit in. The only thing we had to complain about was that some of the furniture was a bit worn, but that didn't affect the functionality. The house is definitely recommendable. A basket with necessary consumables and a nice welcome card surprised us very positively. Thank you very much for that.

Für Großfamilie empfehlenswert!
Ein sehr sehr schönes Ferienhaus. Im Haus selber hat uns nichts gefehlt. Es war alles vorhanden. Wer seine Ruhe, Natur und weit und breit kein sehen will ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben das Haus mit 6 Kids und 2 Erwachsenen besetzt und auch die Kinder hatten viel Spaß und Platz zum toben und spielen. Ein besonderen Dank an Herr Rolof der uns ermöglich hat unseren Urlaub zu verlängern. Auch das er jederzeit ein Ohr für uns hatte. Kritik haben wir keine aber ein kleinen Hinweis, oben auf der Schlafcouch sind eigentlich super tolle große Fenster allerdings mit Kinder die im Urlaub ein wenig länger schlafen wollen, ist es viel zu hell, vllt könnte man dort Plissees oder Gardinen anbringen damit die Laterne ,Blicke durch Spaziergänger oder im Sommer die frühe Sonne ein wenig auffangen kann. Der kleine Faltsichtschutz bringt da nicht viel. Wir haben uns nächsten Tag neu organisiert und Betten getauscht hat unsere Urlaubslaune nicht beeinflusst. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Und freuen uns wieder Gäste sein zu dürfen. Vielleicht schon früher als gedacht!

Tolles Haus in schöner Umgebung
Gelegen in einem Ferienpark mit Kurzzeitmietern, Permanentbewohnern und Tagesgästen, die aber genügend Platz auf dem Areal haben, bietet das Haus alles was für einen erholsamen Urlaub gebraucht wird.
Für uns 6 war das Haus großzügig bemessen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Ferienhaus Seerose
Unser Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus Seerose hat uns sehr gut gefallen hat, da das Haus schön groß und sehr gemütlich, mit allen Extras, eingerichtet ist. Auch das wir die Möglichkeit hatten, das Ruderboot mit zu nutzen, hat uns sehr gefallen. Alles in allem, war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub und eine sehr schöne Unterkunft.

Schönes Ferienhaus für unbeschwerte Familientage
Wir (8 Personen, 2 Familien) waren uns einig, dass es Eines der schönsten Ferienhäuser bislang war und der Vermieter war dazu auch sehr freundlich. Im Haus war alles gut "in Schuss" und gepflegt. Es gibt übrigens drei Schlafzimmer mit je zwei Betten. Für unsere zwei Kleinsten haben wir Babybetten in die Schlafzimmer reingestellt. Etwas eng, aber es geht. Die zwei zusätzlichen Schlafplätze sind offen im Wohnboden über das Schlafsofa gelegen. Da kann nur schlafen, wer abends als Letztes ins Bett und früh als Erste/r munter ist. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt, weil hell, freundlich und modern eingerichtet, aber gleichzeitig auch mit kleinen Kindern komfortabel für unbeschwerte Urlaubstage. Beide Bäder haben Tageslicht, die Küche enthält alles Wichtige. In der Sauna fanden wir sogar zwei Handtücher und Saunaufguss. Die Kleinen mochten den Whirlpool am liebsten, die Großen die Sauna und den Kamin. Einziges Manko ist, dass man für fast alle Unternehmungen das Auto braucht (ca. 10 km zum Supermarkt, ca. 20 km zum tollen Tierpark bei Rostock). Nur die Runde um den See (11 km) und den Bäcker (2km) sind wir "erlaufen". Die Lage am See fanden wir toll!

Beautiful house in a quiet location
We had a lovely and relaxing holiday here. The lake with the rowing boat is only a few minutes' walk away. The city of Schwerin can be reached by car in 20 minutes. The house has everything you need. Three small bedrooms and a large living room with open kitchen, two bathrooms. It is bright and friendly furnished. For this price range, the furnishings (cooker, cupboard in the bedroom with the separate beds, dusty artificial flowers) could be updated a bit. Therefore one point deduction for equipment and price-performance.
