The highlight is the two covered balconies: On the south-facing balcony, the morning sun greets you with a view of the Ahnspitze and parts of the Karwendel mountains – the perfect start to the day with a relaxing breakfast. On the second balcony, you can enjoy the warming sunrays from the afternoon onwards, as the sun sets behind the Wetterstein mountains and the Kranzberg – ideal for a cozy evening with a glass of wine. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: CERAN cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee machine, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, refrigerator with freezer compartment – everything ready to enjoy culinary moments in the mountain setting.

The holiday apartment Elena is located at the foot of the Karwendel, slightly elevated above Mittenwald, and from here offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Wetterstein mountains and the gentle hills of the Kranzberg – the perfect place to unwind, take a deep breath, and enjoy the mountain scenery.

The location combines nature and proximity to town: In just about 10–15 minutes on foot you can reach the picturesque center of Mittenwald with its colorful Lüftlmalerei, cozy cafés, restaurants, and small shops. At the same time, the apartment is ideally suited as a starting point for hikes, mountain tours, or bike tours, which can begin practically right outside the front door.

Especially convenient for cyclists: your own bicycles can be safely stored in a small, separate bicycle shed, so you can set off on your tours without any worries.

Beautiful

The holiday apartment is very beautifully and modernly furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen and 2 balconies with mountain views.
I was picked up and dropped off by the landlord at the train station.
Thanks to the well-developed network of hiking buses, I was able to reach all destinations easily.
The place is characterized by its Lüftlmalerei, and the many mountains and cable cars invite you to hike and enjoy.

Simply dreamy

Vacation with a great view

The contact with Ms. Wurmer was uncomplicated and she was very friendly. The holiday apartment has everything one needs and moreover, one can quickly reach the city on foot. We parked on Alpenkorpstr. which was not far away. Additionally, there is a lot of informational material available to explore the surroundings. We would be happy to stay with them again next year.

The greeting was warm and attentive. The apartment very clean and well equipped. Balcony accessible from the bedroom and a second balcony from the living room table and the kitchen. In the morning, only birds chirping and in the distance the sound of the Isar with a view of Mittenwald. Simply wonderful. We will definitely come back.

Very good

We felt very comfortable immediately.
Wonderful panoramic view from the rooms. The small library was appealing, had good excursion destinations for the surrounding area, and a good book helped us not to get bored despite the worse weather. The landlady was very nice and pleasant.

Memorable stay at FeWo Elena

We loved everything about the holiday apartment...warm hosts, spotlessly clean, well equipped for long stay, excellent location with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and Mittenwald.

Spent a memorable week there and always looked forward to be back after the day's exploration. Very walkable from the city-centre and well connected by public transport to explore the region.

Spacious holiday apartment

We spent four days in autumn in this large and very clean vacation apartment. Communication with the landlord was problem-free and extremely friendly. The area is very beautiful, and with public transport, you can reach many gorges, mountain villages, and other lovely viewpoints. We really enjoyed our vacation here!

Beautiful apartment in Mittenwald

Our vacation in Mittenwald was a success thanks to the beautiful apartment. The landlady, Mrs. Wurmer, was very nice and accommodating. Our dog felt comfortable. Unfortunately, there wasn't much space for a walk in the immediate vicinity, which is due to the dense development in Mittenwald. But since we were there for hiking anyway, it was not a problem. The apartment is in a very quiet location, and you can wonderfully see over Mittenwald from the balcony while enjoying your coffee or whatever you like. We were very satisfied and can only recommend the apartment.
