Location and surroundings of object
The Podere Casa Roberto with four apartments for rent is located 11 km from the long sandy beaches of Follonica and 14 km from Massa Marittima. Quiet location, surrounded by fields + olive trees. Lovely view of the surrounding wooded hills. Extensive lawns surround the house. Restaurant and supermarket 4 km, next village Valpiana 8 km, and the bathing lake Accesa 12 km.

You can request breakfast and a typical dinner of the region. This is served in a dedicated room or under a roof.
Massa Marittima dominates a hill on the edge of the Colline Metallifere. The city was until the 17th century, the richest and most important city in the Maremma. The Mining Museum still bears witness to its past as an important mining center. Worth seeing is the medieval city center with impressive Romanesque and Gothic buildings and the famous cathedral square. In May and August, the "Balestro del Girfalco", a crossbow competition in medieval costumes, takes place. In July and August are art and mineral markets. It is 6 km to the Accesa bathing lake and 21 km to the sandy beaches of Follonica.
In the provincial capital GROSSETO, in the fishing and harbor village of CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA, in the ancient Etruscan town of VETULONIA, in the medieval MASSA MARITTIMA, rich in mines, there are occasional guided tours in German.
