The former mountain town of Lautenthal is located in the Upper Harz in an enchanting valley surrounded by forests, not far from the Innerstetalsperre. All of the Harz excursion destinations are within easy reach, whether you want to experience culture, the imperial palace or the historic old town in Goslar, go skiing and tobogganing or take a steam train ride up the Brocken, visit stalactite caves or the Devil's Wall, the Harz offers something for everyone. Lautenthal itself is ideal for extensive hiking tours, cycling or simply relaxing and "unwinding". The mining museum is definitely worth a visit.

Super great holiday home, there's nothing to complain about.
The house is in a very, very good condition. Everything you need is available. A great gift was ready upon entering the house.
We felt at home right upon entering.
Our dog also enjoyed being with you.
We will visit the holiday home again to collect more stamps for the Harzer Wandernadel.
The little grocery store has everything you need.
We can also recommend the Harzer Schnitzelkönig. Thank you to the landlords for the beautiful house and the lovely relaxing vacation.

Original blockhouse with room for improvement.
The cozy log cabin is located on a side street in the district of Lautenthal. The landlords were very friendly and helpful. Wine and treats for both humans and dogs were ready for our welcome. A place to relax and unwind wonderfully. The furnishings were very good, but we have a few high-level criticisms. The high steps at the entrance are very slippery when wet; a handrail would be very helpful. Fly screens on windows, as well as a way to darken the living room window, e.g. sheer curtains or blinds, are advantageous. We were bitten by mosquitoes very often. The living room sofas urgently need to be replaced. In any case, we will visit this place again.

Very good and clean holiday home.
We were very impressed upon arrival. We felt very comfortable from the first to the last day. The location of the mountain town of Lautenthal is very good. You could get to everywhere very easily. We would like to rent the Fouchs-Bau again sometime.

Great little vacation home
Sweet little vacation home! Lovingly furnished, everything you need for your holiday. The fireplace in the evening was particularly beautiful.
Easygoing and very nice contact. We felt comfortable and will definitely come back.
