Description

The holiday flat "Seewind" has a separate entrance and extends over the entire upper floor of my house. The flat has two separate bedrooms, a large living-dining area with kitchenette and a shower room with toilet. All windows (except for the skylight in the bathroom) are fitted with fixed fly screens, so that "unwelcome" pests stay away.
A parking space for the car is located on the property in front of the house. Free use of a wallbox on the property is possible from spring 2023. A shelter for bicycles and prams is located behind the house. The seating area with garden table, chairs, parasol, beach chair and a rotary clothes dryer are also located behind the house in the garden. The house is located outside the holiday settlement in a cul-de-sac with local residents and a few smaller holiday homes.

Location and surroundings of object

Neßmersiel is located on the North Sea opposite the island of Baltrum (ferry connection depends on the tide).
You will find a local shopping market with bakery (open from mid-March until the end of October) approx. 500m away in the holiday settlement on the village square. The larger shopping markets such as Edeka, Aldi and Netto are 7 km away in Dornum. There are also general practitioners, a dentist, pharmacy, physiotherapists and a flower shop. The local beach, ferry and marina can be reached on foot in 20 minutes (1.5 km). You can spend hours cycling or inline skating along the dikes and in the surrounding countryside.
( The family centre "Sturmfrei" (500m away) with sports area, climbing wall, computer game room, internet station, small adventure cinema and toddler play area offers a good alternative in "bad" weather. At the moment, however, this is closed due to Corona) However, "Wellness&Beauty" is open with many offers for your physical and mental well-being.
The towns of Norden, Esens, Aurich, Jever, Emden and the small villages along the Störtebeckerstrasse directly on the coast invite you to stroll and discover.

Washing machine in the bathroom, rotary dryer in the garden, ironing board, iron and clothes pegs available, tumble dryer can be used on request if the landlord is present (located in the private cellar).
The nearest playground with a football pitch is about 150m away on the 1st dyke in the direction of Dorfstraße/Hafen. Another large playground is located at the village square near the Nordseemarkt (Edeka). In the Dorfstraße approx. 500m away you will find several restaurants. In the direction of the harbour you will also find the "Drachenwiese". Here young and old can fly their kites in a good breeze. The harbour restaurant also offers a beautiful view of the islands of Baltrum and Norderney.

Great apartment in a beautiful location

We had a wonderful vacation in the holiday apartment "Seewind."

The landlords Joachim and Susanne welcomed us very warmly.
The holiday apartment is clean, cozy, and offers plenty of space.
Additionally, the apartment is very well equipped - we lacked nothing.

The location behind the dike is simply great, and many places can be easily reached on foot.
The beach of Neßmersiel can be reached in about 25 minutes with a beautiful view over the salt marshes. From there, guided mudflat hikes to Baltrum are offered, highly recommended.

When we come back to Neßmersiel, we will definitely spend our vacation with Joachim and Susanne.

Very nice vacation apartment in a top location

We had a very pleasant stay as a family with 2 children (8 & 0). The hosts welcomed us very warmly and were always attentive to our needs, as well as being open to nice conversations. Additionally, they are very child-friendly. The apartment is equipped with everything needed for everyday life - we missed absolutely nothing. The location is right behind the dike. From where everything can be easily reached on foot, both shopping options and restaurants. The beach is also easily accessible with a walk of about 30 minutes.

If we vacation in Nessmersiel again, we would definitely return here and thus give a clear recommendation.

Great vacation rental

Highly recommended

We were guests in the Nordwind holiday apartment for a week with 3 generations: grandparents with daughter and granddaughter (6 years old). The apartment offers ample space, is cozy, and very well equipped. Everything is taken care of for both adults and children, for example, games, books, drawing materials, etc., so that boredom does not arise. The location is quiet and you can quickly reach the dike. The hosts are very warm and friendly. We were completely satisfied!

Great accommodation in a prime location

We were in a great accommodation in a perfect location. The bike rental is right next door, and the supermarket is within a 10-minute walk. Since the apartment is close to the dike, the beach and harbor are relatively close (about 30 minutes on foot). The equipment is lacking nothing. Everything was prepared upon our arrival, and we were warmly welcomed. The rooms are a good size.
We can only recommend this accommodation and would love to come back.

Great holiday apartment with a nice landlord and a fantastic location.

The spacious holiday apartment of Joachim Krey offers a great overall package. We stayed with our kids in Neßmersiel and found a well-equipped apartment. The landlords Joachim and Susanne were very nice and always helpful. The location directly by the dike (about 100 m), the proximity to the playground (about 200 m), and the beach (about 1.5 km) met our expectations for a holiday at the North Sea. So everything was great!

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung

Great holiday apartment. Equipped with everything you need. The kitchen equipment is very impressive. Glasses, dishes, etc. are available multiple times. Blankets, small pillows, art supplies, games for both younger and older children, books (for children, adults), . . . . We felt at home from the first moment. The landlord is very nice. We received tips and excursion suggestions from him. There is a bicycle rental around the corner in the neighborhood. Really top. We would have liked to stay longer, but unfortunately our vacation has ended. Thank you for the lovely time. We will definitely come back.

Completely satisfied, would come back anytime.

From the beginning, we were welcomed and felt at home here. The apartment is very cozy and equipped with everything you need. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday with a very nice landlord who was always open to help and support. We also received numerous suggestions for excursions. The "Sturmfrei" was an important meeting point for the daughter, especially during storms, of which we had very little, though. Thank you for the lovely vacation. We will come back.
