The holiday home Schwedenhaus Zierow, newly built in 2012 in Swedish country house style, consists of two accommodation units and offers you pleasant cosiness for a relaxed and restful holiday with your family or friends.
The semi-detached house has a living area of approx. 54 sqm and is newly and modernly furnished. On the ground floor there is an open living and dining room with kitchen, bedroom (two single beds), hallway and bathroom. Upstairs there is a large sleeping gallery (double bed) and reading corner. In the living area you will find a flat-screen TV with satellite reception. The bathroom has a large floor-to-ceiling/ barrier-free shower
The original Swedish red (faluröd) wooden façade, the white doors and mullioned windows, the lovingly landscaped grounds make the holiday home look friendly and inviting. The terraces (equipped with garden furniture) and walkways are made of wood, most of the fully fenced plot is laid with decorative stones and discreetly planted. Due to the south-west orientation of the house, you can enjoy the sun on the terrace until well into the evening hours.
Furthermore, there is a garden shed (lockable), a garden barbecue and a private parking space at your disposal.
This offer is also for allergy sufferers, so please understand that smoking in the house and pets are not allowed.

Location and surroundings of object
You will find Schwedenhaus Zierow in the new holiday home development "Ostseeferiendorf Zierow", in a scenic and quiet location. It is only a 10-minute walk to the Baltic Sea coast of the Wismar Bay and the bathing beach, which is supervised by lifeguards during the summer season. Here you have many possibilities to spend your free time playing, having fun or doing sports. A children's playground, miniature golf and a small café are located directly on the beach.
From the coast in Zierow you have a beautiful view of the island of Poel, which you can reach quickly by boat (6 km) or by land (17 km). On the northern part of the island, the open sea and the wonderful beaches, such as at Schwarzer Busch, Timmendorfer Strand or in Gollwitz, await you.
Zierow lies at the gates of the UNESCO World Heritage and Hanseatic city of Wismar (8 km) and between the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck (50 km to the west) and Rostock (65 km to the east). The state capital Schwerin with its picturesque park and lake landscape and the beautiful Schwerin Castle is only 35 km away from Zierow.
A visit to the Hanseatic city of Wismar is worthwhile at any time of year. This old and at the same time lively city on the Baltic Sea offers pure variety: the charm of the old harbour and the worth seeing old town with a rich treasure of cultural monuments, museums, theatres and gothic churches. For activities, there is a harbour tour or the zoo, the Wonnemar leisure pool or the Mumpitz indoor playground and many other exciting excursion destinations.
The Baltic Sea resorts of Boltenhagen (17 km), Rerik (35 km), Kühlungsborn/Heiligendamm (45 km) and Warnemünde (65 km) are also within easy reach and invite you to stroll or take a trip.
You will find plenty of shopping facilities in the MEZ Gägelow (2.5 km) or in Wismar-Wendorf (3 km). For small purchases (fresh bread rolls), the nearby village shop in Zierow is at your disposal.
Zierow has a few small restaurants where you can eat well and inexpensively. You will find more restaurants in the surrounding villages or in the Hanseatic city of Wismar.
The nearest marinas are in Wendorf (3 km), Hohen Wieschendorf (3 km), Wismar (7 km) and at the Weißen Wiek / Boltenhagen (15 km).
