Description
Our flat Sanddornstube is located on the ground floor and is 63 sqm, so it offers enough space for up to 4 people (including a maximum of 2 children).
Out of consideration for our older guests, we accommodate a maximum of 2 children from the age of 7. For children under 7 years, the maximum number is limited to 1. Children under 4 years only on request
The flat is lovingly furnished in a very cosy country house style and is bright and friendly.
The large living room offers a cosy seating area with sofa, armchair, flat screen TV and small stereo system as well as a separate dining area.
In the separate kitchen you will find a new well-equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, small oven, coffee machine, kettle, egg boiler, toaster, sufficient crockery, cutlery and glasses as well as all necessary kitchen utensils.
In both large bedrooms there are comfortable double beds for a restful sleep and sufficient storage space for your luggage. Our service: Freshly made beds await you free of charge upon arrival! All rooms can be darkened with external blinds and all bedrooms have insect screens.
A new window bathroom with shower/WC and bathroom cabinet complete the room offer.
There is also a wardrobe, a shoe cupboard and a clothes horse available.
You can access the sunny south-facing terrace from the living room as well as from one of the bedrooms. Here you can enjoy the sun from breakfast with fresh, crispy bread rolls from the nearby bakery in the morning to a cosy barbecue with a glass of wine in the beach chair or the seating area with table and wicker chairs in the evening. A barbecue and sun umbrella are ready for you.
Every guest will also find "his spot" outside his terrace to relax on one of the sun loungers on the large well-kept property.
On the lovingly landscaped property there is one parking space per accommodation unit and you can safely store your bicycles and beach utensils in our garden house. An additional communal seating area by the garden house for getting to know and chatting with the nice fellow residents is also available.
There is a small selection of games and books in each flat.

Location and surroundings of object
In Baabe in the scenically beautiful Mönchgut, our holiday home is located in a side street only 300 m away from one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island of Rügen.
You can easily reach all shopping facilities such as supermarkets (Lidl, Aldi, Nah und Frisch) and bakeries as well as restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, bicycle rental etc. on foot. It is also only a stone's throw to the spa treatments, the spa administration and the stops of the "Rasender Roland" and the Bimmelbahn. The large fun pool in Sellin is also only a few minutes away by car.
A relaxing walk along the beach promenade will take you to either Goehren or Sellin, and from Baabe you can set off on the most beautiful cycling tours along the coast or through the varied inland.

SUPER URLAUB
Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) haben als "Wiederholungstäter" wieder sehr schöne, erholsame Urlaubstage bei Familie Nickel verbracht. Nach einem herzlichen Empfang mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen fühlten wir uns gleich wieder heimisch. Die gemütliche Wohnung war wie immer sehr sauber. Bei diesem Urlaub wurden wir mit einer neuen sehr gut ausgestatteten Einbauküche und einer ebenfalls neuen Essecke überrascht. Die gepflegte Ausstattung aller Räume lässt keine Wünsche offen und auf den neuen Matratzen steht einem erholsamen Schlaf nichts im Wege. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und für 4 Personen bestens geeignet. Alle Eltern mit Kleinkindern können sich über eine kostenlose Ausstattung wie Babyreisebett, Hochstuhl, kleinem Kindertritt, Toiletteneinsatz, Wickelunterlage usw freuen. Auch an kindgerechtes Geschirr und Besteck wurde gedacht.
Auch toll für Eltern ist, dass die Kinder gefahrlos auf dem Rasen vor der Terrasse spielen dürfen und dabei ganz entspannt vom Strandkorb aus beaufsichtigt werden können. Die Lage des Ferienhauses ist optimal. In wenigen Schritten ist man sowohl am Strand als auch auf der Bummelmeile mit den vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Haltestelle "Rasender Roland" usw.
Die netten Vermieter waren stets für uns ansprechbar und haben uns mehrmals hilfreiche Tipps für schöne Fahrradtouren oder andere Aktivitäten gegeben.
Wir werden weiterhin unsere Urlaube auf Rügen nur bei Familie Nickel verbringen und der nächste Aufenthalt ist bereits gebucht.

Sunny vacation
We, 2 aunts with our niece, spent our vacation for the first time in August 2017 with the Nickel family in their holiday apartment "Sanddornstube". The pictures on their website already gave us a positive first impression, which was fully confirmed upon arrival. A well-equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining area, as well as the bedrooms, offered us plenty of space.
The proximity to the beach was also a very important aspect that motivated us to rent this holiday apartment. In the storage house on the property, we could store our beach equipment, and there was also enough space for bikes.
In summary, we liked it so much that we will come back this year.
