Description
Our holiday flat is located in the holiday residence "Grüne Düne". As the name suggests, the holiday residence, which was built in 2007, stands slightly elevated as if on a dune in a large garden. Surrounded by beautiful old oaks, you live here very quietly, almost in the forest and yet only 150 metres from the beach, the Baab promenade and the spa gardens
The flat is located on the first floor, which can also be reached comfortably by lift. Due to the south-west orientation of the living room and the terrace, you can enjoy the sun of Rügen even in the low season and have a wonderful view of the old trees surrounding the residence. From the bedroom, you can see the sea to the east and always hear the sound of the sea
The 38 square metres of the flat are divided into a bedroom with a 1.80m wide double bed, a living-dining room with a leather sofa bed (lying surface 1.40m), a kitchenette, a shower room and a terrace. A friendly light laminate floor gives all living rooms a pleasant homely ambience
The kitchenette is equipped with a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a compact oven and two ceramic hobs
We have made every effort to furnish the flat so that you can feel completely at home. In particular you will find:
- bed linen, towels, tea towels
- complete kitchen equipment: ceramic cooker and oven, dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle, espresso kettle, egg boiler
- TV, stereo with DAB+ radio, CD and DVD player
- free internet via WLAN
- towel radiator in the bathroom, hairdryer
- hoover
- furniture safe
- travel cot, high chair, children's crockery and cutlery on request
- Terrace furniture
- Washing machine and tumble dryer (each with costs) in the basement of the house

The holiday flat offers enough space for 2 persons. If required and on request, a child up to the age of 12 can stay on the sofa bed, a travel cot can be provided for a baby. The baby cot is free of charge, for an extra bed we charge an extra bed surcharge of 5 euros per night.
Please note that neither pets nor smoking are allowed in the allergy-friendly holiday flat!
The car parking space belonging to the holiday flat is located directly next to the house, where bicycles can also be connected to the bicycle stand
For the very small holiday guests, there is a sandbox in the grass under shady trees in the fenced-off, well-kept garden of the holiday residence.
The (coin-operated) sauna in the basement of the holiday residence can be used by all guests by appointment.
In addition to the staircase, the flat is also easily accessible via a lift.

Location and surroundings of object
The "Grüne Düne" holiday residence with the "Sonnenblick" holiday flat is only about 150m from the beautiful Baab sandy beach with its beach promenade and in the immediate vicinity of the well-kept spa park. There are also cafés and restaurants within walking distance near the beach promenade or in the centre of the village. All the shops for your daily needs or for an enjoyable shopping trip are also within walking distance near the "Grüne Düne". Nevertheless, it is very quiet to live in this holiday residence.
Baabe is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on the island of Rügen. It is located on the south-eastern tip of the island, the "Mönchgut", which has been part of the South-East Rügen Biosphere Reserve since 1990. Baabe itself is situated on a long bay with a wonderful sandy beach, ideal for a relaxing bathing holiday
However, the Baltic seaside resort of Baabe does not only unfold its charm in summer, because due to its beautiful location, Baabe is always worth a trip in all other seasons as well. From here you can take beautiful beach or forest walks to Göhren and Sellin, as well as hiking and cycling tours in the entire southeast of Rügen, which is particularly scenic and varied
Worthwhile excursion destinations in the south or southeast are, in addition to Sellin and Göhren, Binz, Putbus or the Granitz hunting lodge, Lauterbach and the island of Vilm, and a tour along the romantic Allen roads in the direction of Garz and Stralsund is also an experience. You can admire the beauty of Rügen's south on a nostalgic ride on the "Rasender Roland", a steam locomotive-driven narrow-gauge railway that runs between Göhren and Lauterbach with a stop in Baabe
Even destinations a little further afield, such as Jasmund National Park, Cape Arkona, the tree-top walk at Prora, the seaside resort of Sassnitz, the island capital Bergen, as well as stately homes and parks, are easily accessible by car or public transport
From this description it is clear that Rügen, Germany's largest island, opens up a wide range of holiday opportunities
Not least because of the fresh, clean air that characterises the island's climate, as well as the abundance of sunshine - about 1800 hours a year - Rügen is a worthwhile destination.

| The visitor's tax for the Baltic seaside resort is not included in the rental price. We ask our holiday guests to pay the visitor's tax on site at the Baabe spa administration. A sauna, washing machine and tumble dryer are available to holiday guests in the basement of the holiday residence (each at a charge). Iron and ironing board can also be used there. Hand and dish towels as well as bed linen are already included in the price. |

Baabe is very easy to reach
Via the A20 motorway and the large Rügen Bridge from Stralsund, you can reach the island of Rügen by car as quickly and conveniently as never before.
By train, the IC station Binz can be reached from Berlin in 4 hours and from the Rhineland in 8 hours. From there, either hourly buses take you to Baabe in the direction of Göhren/Klein Zicker or you can start your holiday with a ride on the "Rasender Roland" - a steam locomotive-driven narrow-gauge railway that takes you all the way to Baabe.
Baabe is also served directly by regular long-distance buses. The bus station is located at the entrance to the village and is about 400m away from the holiday flat, so it is also easily accessible on foot.
If you wish, you can therefore spend a completely car-free holiday at the "Grüne Düne" holiday residence.
