Thumbs up

We had a really relaxed and nice time in the forest cottage.
The house is equipped with everything needed for daily use.
The property is sniff-worthy for the four-legged friend, and there are nice seating options for people.
It's great that the property can be shared, so you always have your four-legged friend in sight.
Anyone looking for peace and who likes nature is exactly right here.
Happy to come again ??

A cozy, beautiful holiday apartment.

Our stay in the holiday apartment was very pleasant. Nothing was missing, and we had a great time. Mrs. and Mr. Bunk are very, very friendly, and thus we felt completely comfortable.

What do you need to experience in Uelzen & surrounding area?

Fancy the cherries in the neighbor's garden?

After your trip to Bad Beensen, there is still much to discover near your holiday apartment with the best location in Uelzen. The Path of Stones describes 21 rocks weighing up to eight tons. The three-meter-high stones with various patterns and colors lead across the city to the half-timbered gables of Uelzen. Be sure to stop at Hannemann's Twiete. The small alley crosses Lüneburger Straße, where you want to admire the half-timbered houses anyway. Enjoy the atmosphere there and feel the history of Uelzen, which seems to come alive at this place. For a snack in between, the orchards in Uelzen are perfect. Picking allowed on Linsingenstraße, An den zehn Eichen, and Am Stadtgut, but also in the orchards in Klein Südstedt and some local connecting and farm roads. Simply rent accommodation, for example in Oldenstadt, with a terrace, garden, parking, modern facilities, and at an affordable price, and enjoy the dream of a relaxing stay full of possibilities tailored to your personal wishes in one of the most beautiful regions of Germany.

Couples enjoy a wonderful day in the 12,000 square meter Jod-Sole-Therme, which attracts with several water basins and an extensive range of spa & wellness. Uelzen is excellently suited for a family-friendly holiday near the dreamy meadows and forests. The castle complex of Holdenstedt from the 13th century is interesting for all family members, including your dog. The cuisine of Lower Saxony offers you a rich selection: Buckwheat used to grow on the heath soils. That's why flour dishes like buckwheat pancakes or buckwheat cake are still very popular today. What is a must-see in Uelzen & surrounding area?

Half-timbered art at its finest

Uelzen offers not only relaxation in your holiday home in the center but also remarkable cultural monuments and other buildings. Notable is the mix of different epochs after you have made a trip to the Lüneburg Heath or to Bad Bevensen. The Old Town Hall dates back to the Middle Ages and today's Ratsweinhandlung – once a dance hall behind the town hall – is probably the oldest wine shop in Central Europe that still exists. It's all the more beautiful that your cozy apartment in the area is an interesting contrast to the old houses in the old town. Pay attention to the back of the wine shop. The Gothic stepped gable also dates from the Middle Ages, as does the Guild House on Veerßer Straße from the 15th century. Do you love half-timbered houses? Then you must not forget Lüneburger Straße during your city tour. Keep your smartphone ready to preserve these magnificent time documents as a memory. Photography allowed, then in the evening in your apartment or your accommodation with Wi-Fi, you have the opportunity to read more about the historical background of many secular buildings from Uelzen. Some houses were built in the 19th century, at the turn of the century, or the early 20th century. Those who love architecture and art will get their money's worth in Uelzen.

The Hundertwasser Train Station was redesigned by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, an Austrian artist.
