Apartment in Elba near Bagnaia Beach

The arrival and welcome at the Residence St. Anna del Volterraio was good and the staff very friendly. We were even able to check into our accommodation a bit earlier, which was really great after the long journey with three small children. Unfortunately, our accommodation is very bare and has aged (broken/damaged furniture, socket, shower rod, lamp). Cleanliness is okay, but there is dust everywhere, especially on the shelves, door frame, and fans. In the kitchen, we already encountered an ant colony when we moved into the apartment, and we have been dealing with them since then. Unfortunately, "nice" is something else, especially for the price, we are disappointed with the charm/furnishing. The surrounding area and the balcony are really nice, and the pool area is great. We would wish for a sunshade over the children's pool, e.g., over the shallow part where the toddlers/babies splash around. Otherwise, really nice, the pools close at 7 PM. The children's program was loving and Anna was very popular with our girls? . The on-site restaurant is recommended and you can also take delicious wood-fired pizza to go, but you should reserve for both in the morning. The beach in Bagnai is nice, but you should have water shoes as the stones can be uncomfortable. However, there are many nicer beaches not far away by car.

We had a really nice stay in St. Anna, the pool was an attraction for us, and the kids loved the playground. Everything was clean and tidy, and the staff was super helpful. We only regret that we had less time to explore the nearby beaches.
