I spent a weekend there with my adult daughter and our dog. If you want peace and quiet, this is definitely the right place. You can't hear any street or party life. The nearby forest invites you to take walks. The house is clean and well-equipped. In summer, the garden must be a dream. Only the non-existent fence in the upper garden area tempted my dog to go for a walk alone? After that, it was on a leash. He didn't want to take the steep stairs. But he had enough space in the living room. It was a nice time and we would gladly come back.

Very nice house, everything worked out very well, handing over of keys and settlement, everything very good. It is a pity that everything was over so quickly, our dogs were thrilled, they were allowed to go everywhere. After our walks, we let them dry in the boxes so that the dirt could fall off. And we could easily store the boxes in the basement. We will come again next year. My granddaughter was able to take advantage of the weather and swing to her heart's content.

Historic villa in the spa triangle

I was a guest of the Sicha family with my family (10 people in total) on a hiking weekend in the tranquil but beautiful Brod nad Tichou. We rented this uniquely restored former rectory. The accommodation is very nice and offers a lot of space. The rooms are very nicely furnished and the overall ambience is very tasteful, especially the kitchen.
We were very warmly welcomed by the Sicha family, all of them spoke very good German, which made communication easier, especially for my older family members.
The countryside around Brod nad Tichou is super beautiful and the nature reserves are insane, which are great for hiking. Nearby towns like Marienbad and Loket are also worth a trip for sightseeing.
All in all, a fantastic weekend trip that I would do again at any time
