We had a great time in Skalny

Object clean and well equipped, the location is very good and the owner very nice and helpful. In a word, everything is better than good.

Excellent stay

Very nice welcome from the owner. Nothing was lacking in the furnishings. Quiet and dreamy location. The terrace is secluded and equipped with everything.The steep stairs are a bit of a challenge but even I managed them well and I have 2 artificial knees? We explored the whole area by bike and it is beautiful. In the village itself there are several restaurants, which are just great, and I can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you once again, we will definitely be back

Beautiful house with some defects

For a house accommodating up to 6, or even 7 people, there is insufficient cutlery.
3 egg cups that had to be searched for at first.
Too few doormats (unfortunately, it rained during our stay), resulting in constant dirt being brought in from the terrace.
The steep staircase is very uncomfortable even for mobile guests, especially when needing to use the bathroom at night. No blinds in the front bedroom upstairs.
But what bothered us the most was that the heating was not on continuously. During the day, we froze because the heating was turned off, and at night we sweated because the heating was on full blast. Overall, a nice accommodation with some shortcomings, but a very nice landlord!

Hardly enthusiastic

After our very unsuccessful holiday at Lake Schwerin in Retgendorf, we also entered this holiday home with a queasy feeling. However, everything turned out quite differently. . Our arrival was arranged very flexibly by the landlord. On the day of our arrival we got to know the landlord and were impressed by his appearance. An open-minded, friendly and obliging man showed us around the house. We were given biscuits as a welcome and a Christmas tree provided contemplative hours with our loved ones. Everyone, especially the children, was delighted and had a really great time.
The price is the price. We made this experience for the first time on our arrival. There were no additional costs (visitor's tax, dog, etc.). All rooms were clean and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped except for an oven, but this was not in the description. Couldn't the oven be put instead of the dishwasher?
The stairs were a challenge for us in the beginning. But with time we got used to it
The garden has a small playground, a summer pool and a terrace. There is a stone barbecue on the terrace. This was a good place to end the evening. The area is bordered by green plants, so that one can stay undisturbed. The neighbours of the house are very friendly and sociable

Conclusion: We were very excited and wistful at the same time to have to go home again. We were very impressed by the landlord's manner. Many entrepreneurs can take a leaf out of their book, because that's how it should be on holiday

wonderful accommodation

We were here with 4 children and all had a lot of fun, thanks to the pool and the adjacent forest area.
Especially beautiful, the town Skalna is very well maintained, all people are friendly.
Great outdoor grill, perfect seating, well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Everything very very clean!
Unfortunately, in the summer we missed curtains/ blinds on the upper sleeping floor. Better sleep with dark blinds/ curtains in summer. Otherwise, a perfect vacation, we would love to come back in 2 years!

This house is simply great for a holiday in the Czech Republic!

We have been in this house for five days with my wife and our child. The weather was nice and everything you need is here. Nearby is food (Skalna in 5-10 minutes walk there), duck & fish pond just down the road, 2x restaurants (highly recommended), there is also in bad weather a nice swimming pool and also cheap in 12 minutes drive (car to the advantage) and you also have forest in a few minutes walk to pick mushrooms
Otherwise, the holiday home is in top condition and you have everything you need here. Just self-catering. The landlords are super nice and friendly and are immediately available if you need something or if you are looking for something. And they are always available in case of an emergency. So I can only say that I and my wife and child will 100% come here again and take a holiday here, it's nice and quiet and there are helpful neighbours opposite. The advantage is that there is a translator in the mobile phone if you need something and want to ask them what. I can only recommend it.

We were very satisfied, except for a few minor details that are not significant, this accommodation is highly recommended. However, the stairs to the upper floor are not suitable for older people or people with walking problems. We will definitely come back.

Top vacation rental for the price

We were in this property over Christmas, we liked it very much, a Christmas tree was decorated which added to the atmosphere of the house. Our children were also enthusiastic. We were also able to start a beautiful hike in the nearby forest from this property on Christmas Eve.

schönes Ferienhaus, sehr ruhig

Exactly what we had imagined. Spending an undisturbed and relaxing holiday in a small town away from the hustle and bustle. Self-catering and no regulations from other guests or landlords who constantly want to be close. All in all, we liked it very much. The only limitation is the staircase inside the house, which is very steep and not suitable for everyone.

Holiday in Skalna

Beautiful very clean, well-kept house. It really lacked nothing for a relaxing holiday. Very quiet area. Landlord super friendly and helpful. This house is highly recommended.

Holiday home in Skalna

I / We were very satisfied. It fully met our expectations. The house is very quiet. It's a 10-minute walk to the lake, the food in Skalna is very good, as well as the surroundings. There is a lot to experience.

free time activities: Man kann sehr viel erleben. Wir waren im Schwimmbad, im Moor und haben uns natürlich die drei Bäderstädte angeschaut mit den vielen Quellen.
