Something hidden has its advantages. The peace that one can actually find here. Just the last kilometers of the journey are worth it. And then this really well-equipped residence. You feel comfortable from the very first second. The fireplace spreads cozy warmth, the view from the terrace is incredible, peace for those who need peace... what more could you want? Action and adventure? You can also have that if you either walk away from the house or get in the car and are quickly at many great places and starting points for extensive hikes, or if you just want to take a short walk and then enjoy something delicious in one of the many "mountain huts." The host entrusts his house to his guests, with everything that goes along with it. And you can tell by the furnishings. Nothing is missing! Many things that need to be "provided" by every "newcomer" in other accommodations are simply available here! It goes without saying that we replace what has been used so that the next guests can enjoy the same service. A big compliment to the host, also for the very good communication. Before arrival, there is ample information about the house and the surroundings. Even hiking and excursion tips are included. Upon arrival, the stay is discussed once more, and for any questions that may still arise, a friendly Peter Klement is ready to respond (and indeed pronto...). When someone asks us about the highlights of 2025, these days are right at the top of the list! It was incredibly beautiful days here! And certainly not the last ones! We, a couple from Thuringia, stayed with our dog for eight days at the beginning of October 2019 with the Altenburger family in the very beautiful holiday home
We particularly liked the fact that it is a really small home with everything you would like to have at home yourself. This applies to the furnishings, which leave nothing to be desired, are modern and at the same time traditional, the beautiful fenced garden and the additional space in the garage and woodshed. Everything is very clean, the location extremely quiet and the view over the hills towards Trautmannsdorf simply wonderful
From the holiday home we could go on beautiful hikes in the direction of Trautmannsdorf or Bad Gleichenberg, take the small electric train to Feldbach and it was always a pleasant walk to the excellent Buschenschank Leitgeb.
Slovenia can be reached quickly in the region, e.g. Maribor, about 60 km away, is very worth seeing.
In the evenings back at the holiday home we could always nibble from the grapes in the garden and the walnuts in front of the house, and on the wood-burning cooker in the kitchen we could often roast sweet chestnuts that we had collected in the surrounding forest areas.
We felt really comfortable and had a very good rest.

Almchalet
Stadl an der Mur
We spent a week in the Almchalet with three dogs and we didn't miss anything. The hut is well equipped with everything you need. Dryer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster. The underfloor heating was particularly pleasant in the evenings when it was a bit cooler. The conservatory and the beautiful terrace also invited you to linger. It's only a few minutes by car to the village. There is also a small shop there, otherwise you can find everything you need in Murau. Wi-Fi had very good reception. We were completely satisfied and would love to come back.
