Recreation or home office. Minimum stay: 1 week; long-term booking up to approx. max. 2 months possible The mountain hut/holiday home, designed for 1-5 people, is located on a small ridge at 1300m and is furnished with great attention to detail. A small but fine kitchen and a living/dining area with a pellet stove that conjures up ambience with firelight in the evenings. The secluded 30 sqm sun terrace with a dream view of the surrounding mountains, which are often covered with snow until June, is directly accessible from the WZ. A deck chair, sun lounger are available Upstairs there is a double bed in a large open area with a sofa overlooking mountains & starry sky through the large picture window and a cosy extra room with two single beds. Children love the hidden room as it is accessed through a box (wardrobe). Under the sloping roof there is another "sleeping cave" for 1-2 persons. Heating and electricity supply by solar system are climate neutral. Children can experience nature up close, directly in the forest or at the nearby stream. All shopping facilities and doctors can be reached by car in about 15 minutes in the Murtal. Gourmets get their money's worth: In the proximity there are several restaurants with hood kitchen, e.g. in the castles Farrach and Gabelhofen as well as the world champion confectionery Regner in monastery place Seckau. with thefor €75/€35 free entrance with 162 trip goals in the value of €1,600. further equipment: WLAN, shower/WC, stove, refrigerator&TK compartment, pellet stove, grill with cast iron grate, TV (z.Z. only with laptop/streaming), parking in front of the house, non-smoking house, dogs are welcome, non-smoking house Cancellation is free of charge, if wg. political Corona restrictions an arrival is not possible.(if your county/city are closed, or that of the holiday home). We are happy about inquiries from sympathetic, friendly and reliable people who are looking for relaxation. We love to party too, but this would be the wrong place. Our house is not in a rental colony, we have known each other appreciate our neighbors for years, so we ask that you be courteous to all. :-). We are a Viennese family we live in Oldenburg. -------------------------- further information: Our house is situated at the "Römerweg", a very old trade route. Today you can still see the horse carriage tracks in the rock. In order to reach the Gasthof Stüblergut, a fortified farm from the 14th century, which is worth seeing, you hike 45min from the house over alpine pastures on this fairytale path, in order to be spoiled at the end with Austrian delicacies from a star chef! And every weekend there is the "Rauchkuchlschmaus", a big buffet with Austrian cuisine. Visit the Lippizaner on their summer pasture, the Hundertwasser church in Bärnbach, the star tower in Judenburg, the events on the Red Bull Formula 1 Ring, the silver mine Oberzeiring or the UNESCO world heritage city Graz with cultural offers and southern flair.
Families with children and sports enthusiasts can let off steam with many activities: Gaberl ski area (ski school), horseback riding, mountain biking, summer toboggan run, Aqualux Therme, indoor playground, Wipfelwanderweg, Murtalradweg, outdoor pool, bathing lake, golf, and much more. The perfect place for a break
What a luck that I found the mountain cabin of Peter and his family. I was looking for accommodation in the mountains for myself and my dog. The place should be accessible by car and still be in a quiet location. With supermarkets nearby. It should have electricity, hot water, and a bathroom. A well-equipped kitchen. Nicely and cozily furnished, bright, with a beautiful view of the mountains and maybe even with a stove and a terrace. Almost like finding a needle in a haystack. And this accommodation proves: It actually exists! Peter's friendly, helpful, and warm nature as a host crowned the vacation. A clear recommendation!

Small, fine, hidden... but worth every kilometer of the drive.
Something hidden has its advantages. The peace that one can actually find here. Just the last kilometers of the journey are worth it. And then this really well-equipped residence. You feel comfortable from the very first second. The fireplace spreads cozy warmth, the view from the terrace is incredible, peace for those who need peace... what more could you want? Action and adventure? You can also have that if you either walk away from the house or get in the car and are quickly at many great places and starting points for extensive hikes, or if you just want to take a short walk and then enjoy something delicious in one of the many "mountain huts." The host entrusts his house to his guests, with everything that goes along with it. And you can tell by the furnishings. Nothing is missing! Many things that need to be "provided" by every "newcomer" in other accommodations are simply available here! It goes without saying that we replace what has been used so that the next guests can enjoy the same service. A big compliment to the host, also for the very good communication. Before arrival, there is ample information about the house and the surroundings. Even hiking and excursion tips are included. Upon arrival, the stay is discussed once more, and for any questions that may still arise, a friendly Peter Klement is ready to respond (and indeed pronto...). When someone asks us about the highlights of 2025, these days are right at the top of the list! It was incredibly beautiful days here! And certainly not the last ones! P.S. even our dog didn't want to get into the car to go home! (Neither did we...) Bianca & Olaf

A dream came true.
Our second visit, this time over Christmas. We have always wanted to do this, to slow down from the Christmas hustle and enter relaxation. The house is very quietly located for those who need it or want it. Shopping opportunities in Kleinlobming or Knittelfeld. Hiking trails reachable directly from the house or 15 to 30 minutes by car. Mr. Klement is an incredibly good host and is there to help whenever it gets urgent or just in general. The neighbors are all very nice and helpful. Our next vacation is already booked.

Nature pure
The cabin has a dreamlike location with a wonderful view. It is cozy and furnished with a lot of love. We didn't miss anything in the kitchen amenities.
There are diverse hiking options from easy to challenging.
For the coming year, we have booked for three weeks. There is still a lot to explore. ?

Summer vacation in the mountains
My friend and I had a wonderful vacation at Peter's holiday cabin.
The cabin has everything you need, from a well-equipped kitchen (Bialetti, milk frother, coffee machine, toaster, grater, garlic press, etc.) to a great outdoor area.
The large private terrace was our absolute highlight and favorite spot. The view, the peace, and the fresh air did us a lot of good. The terrace also has everything you need, many seating options with cushions, a lounger, 2 sun umbrellas, and a grill.
Peter is an excellent host who truly cares about ensuring a great stay for his guests. He gave us many tips and recommendations and was always available.
The surrounding area is fantastic. Whether you're coming for hiking or just to relax on the terrace, you won’t be disappointed.
We will come back! Thank you Peter and see you soon!
