Small, fine, hidden... but worth every kilometer of the drive.

Something hidden has its advantages. The peace that one can actually find here. Just the last kilometers of the journey are worth it. And then this really well-equipped residence. You feel comfortable from the very first second. The fireplace spreads cozy warmth, the view from the terrace is incredible, peace for those who need peace... what more could you want? Action and adventure? You can also have that if you either walk away from the house or get in the car and are quickly at many great places and starting points for extensive hikes, or if you just want to take a short walk and then enjoy something delicious in one of the many "mountain huts." The host entrusts his house to his guests, with everything that goes along with it. And you can tell by the furnishings. Nothing is missing! Many things that need to be "provided" by every "newcomer" in other accommodations are simply available here! It goes without saying that we replace what has been used so that the next guests can enjoy the same service. A big compliment to the host, also for the very good communication. Before arrival, there is ample information about the house and the surroundings. Even hiking and excursion tips are included. Upon arrival, the stay is discussed once more, and for any questions that may still arise, a friendly Peter Klement is ready to respond (and indeed pronto...). When someone asks us about the highlights of 2025, these days are right at the top of the list! It was incredibly beautiful days here! And certainly not the last ones! A dream came true.

Our second visit, this time over Christmas. We have always wanted to do this, to slow down from the Christmas hustle and enter relaxation. The house is very quietly located for those who need it or want it. Shopping opportunities in Kleinlobming or Knittelfeld. Hiking trails reachable directly from the house or 15 to 30 minutes by car. Mr. Klement is an incredibly good host and is there to help whenever it gets urgent or just in general. The neighbors are all very nice and helpful. Our next vacation is already booked.

Nature pure

The cabin has a dreamlike location with a wonderful view. It is cozy and furnished with a lot of love. We didn't miss anything in the kitchen amenities.
There are diverse hiking options from easy to challenging.

For the coming year, we have booked for three weeks. There is still a lot to explore. ?

Summer vacation in the mountains

My friend and I had a wonderful vacation at Peter's holiday cabin.

The cabin has everything you need, from a well-equipped kitchen (Bialetti, milk frother, coffee machine, toaster, grater, garlic press, etc.) to a great outdoor area.

The large private terrace was our absolute highlight and favorite spot. The view, the peace, and the fresh air did us a lot of good. The terrace also has everything you need, many seating options with cushions, a lounger, 2 sun umbrellas, and a grill.

Peter is an excellent host who truly cares about ensuring a great stay for his guests. He gave us many tips and recommendations and was always available.

The surrounding area is fantastic. Whether you're coming for hiking or just to relax on the terrace, you won’t be disappointed.

Holiday home in fantastic location

Well-located holiday home, near many hiking destinations, we really enjoyed our stay here, everything, really everything you need is available, everything cozy and clean, large terrace and not easily visible from outside, thus wonderfully undisturbed for yourself with a great view between tall firs, amazing starry sky at night since the few neighboring/weekend houses are at a lower elevation, quiet.

Hiking holiday

Hello Mr. Klement,
we had a wonderful week in your cottage. Everything was very clean and we felt comfortable immediately. We loved the big terrace, the cozy pellet stove, and the view from the bed of the mountains or the starry sky. The surroundings are very quiet and you can really relax. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful cabin in the mountains

We spent almost 4 weeks in the cabin and had a wonderful time. It's a good size for a family with children. The equipment is rustic, but that's part of cabin life. Peter took excellent care of us and was always there to help and provide advice! We will definitely come back.

Short trip completely decelerated

The cottage was perfectly located for our trip. We wanted relaxation and that's what we got. The house is incredibly well equipped and very clean. You can start hiking directly from the house or use the car if you want to explore another region. The homeowner is very friendly and supportive over the phone for any questions or concerns. A very cute Alpine hut

So this vacation was extraordinary from the beginning – it started with the booking: the landlord is extraordinarily nice and accommodating. Even before arrival, we received all necessary information about equipment, arrival, best route, surroundings, excursion destinations, etc. so there are no wishes left unfulfilled here! The landlord always has an open ear and is always reachable. The alpine hut is super cute furnished and has everything you need. The location is uniquely beautiful... Holiday house on the mountain

I really enjoyed the house. I had peace and quiet, could start from there - but also reach various other good places after a short drive from the valley. I especially liked the evening atmosphere. The people in the villages were extremely friendly; I could talk to many of them. During my hikes, I only met 2 - 3 people at times - who were all very interested in conversation. Regarding the location, I can only say: having a car is important.

Holidays in Austrian mountains

We are mountains lovers loving relaxing in calm areas so we chose opportunity out of main season and we loved it. We appreciated we had basic needed things at the house, there is a balcony with great view (also at night), fresh air, nature but also it is easily accessible by car. Owner of the house is really helpful and friendly (we appreciated his advices as it was last minute time off). We will consider to come back.

Great ski holiday in Styria

We spent a wonderful, cosy family holiday in the mountain hut, which we will remember for a long time!

An unforgettable holiday

My children and I had a great time in the cottage. The panoramic view from the window and the closet room for the children as well as the cosy fireplace were our highlights. You can get to the ski lift in a few minutes and go for a nice walk along the Römerweg. The hut is very cosy, well equipped and the host is always available. Thanks for the great tips! Pure nature in a beautiful quiet location

Very cosy cottage, equipped with everything you need. Especially the pellet stove makes it nice and cosy in the cold season. Great view from the terrace! Everything was clean and the landlord is very friendly and uncomplicated. The immediate surroundings are perfect for hiking, running, etc.. Ski resorts and a thermal spa are also within easy reach. All in all, it was a very nice stay, I enjoyed the quiet time and will gladly come back

Simply beautiful!

Even the contact with the landlord before arrival was super nice!
We immediately felt very comfortable when we arrived! There was everything your heart desires! You can feel in the details how much heart is in this hut! The tips were great. The time was far too short ;-) All in all, these were unforgettably beautiful days! We will be back, for sure!

Time out in the mountains

The house in the mountains was just what we needed to switch off. Peter was a hit as a host and was very helpful at all times. The pellet stove sweetened the cold days for us. The children were thrilled.

11 wonderful days in the middle of nature

Small but very cute, cosy cottage in a great location with a huge terrace. Arrive, get out, feel good, relax.... We found the experience of solar power in the house and the lovely furnishings, which leave almost nothing to be desired, particularly fascinating. The pellet stove in the living room provided a cosy warmth. For us as a couple it was super!
We often sat on the terrace and watched the starry sky or the clouds rising from the valley. The roaring of the deer (rutting season) was an extraordinary background noise. We also explored many beautiful forest/hiking trails in the surrounding area. A great highlight was also the delicious "Rauchkuchlschmaus" in the nearby Stüblergut, a day trip to Graz and a treetop hike in Rachau.
The contact with the landlord was really nice and we would love to come again.

Cosy Getaway

A quiet location, a fantastic view and the pleasant warmth of the pellet stove make the mountain hut the perfect destination for a cosy getaway for two.
The hut is equipped with everything you need. And if you sit on the terrace at night in autumn, with a bit of luck you can hear the roaring deer in rut.
It's a nice feeling to be so close to nature.

I had a wonderful time in this wonderful accommodation. ABSOLUTE peace and quiet, wonderful!
The landlord gave me lots of hints and tips, which made my holiday even more enjoyable. The decor of the house is simple but beautiful and with great attention to detail! The best thing :)..., the oven and the huge terrace with a magnificent view!
