The apartment is simply great. The location close to the beach as well as the short distances to the supermarket and the surrounding restaurants are fantastic.
The apartment itself is perfectly furnished. Our landlords have really gone all out here.
Everything you need is available and in very good condition.
The spacious terrace with a direct view of the sea is just fun. You can relax wonderfully.

We were at Casa Esteban for the 3rd time and were very happy again. The proximity to the sea and the fantastic terrace are simply unbeatable. The apartment is equipped with everything necessary, and the fairly new fitted kitchen offers everything you need.
We especially want to highlight the warm contact with Vera, who is always super friendly and always available. Thanks also for the uncomplicated handling of the handover. Simply top. We are already looking forward to the next vacation in the Casa Esteban.

Stroll through the beautiful old town, treat yourself in one of the restaurants with Canarian cuisine and watch the boats coming and going in the harbour. Among the most popular attractions are the Oasis Park, the El Toston watchtower and the El Carmen Salt Museum. In the main building of the museum saltworks, a permanent exhibition shows everything about the formation, occurrences and use of salt. At the open-air museum "Ecomuseo La Alcogida" at the exit of the town Tefía, you can visit farmhouses and a mill in traditional style. Here you get a good impression of the hard life of the past. Also worth seeing is the lighthouse "Faro de Jandia" on the peninsula Jandia. From the 19 m high tower, you have a breathtaking view to Gran Canaria in good weather. No one can complain about a lack of activities on Fuerteventura. Starting with relaxed days on the dreamlike beaches, hikes through beautiful landscapes and excursions with a motorcycle to Segway tours and catamaran sailing tours, the range of leisure activities is almost unlimited. But not only sporting activities such as water sports, sailing, horse riding, tennis, golf and mountain biking attract tourists, but also numerous other attractions such as the Botanical Garden, the Oasis Park with its large animal park, the water fun bath Naku in Corralejo in the north of Fuerteventura or a tour with a pirate ship.

If you are looking for a change from beach life, the Oasis Park Fuerteventura in La Lajita is a good option. The oasis on 800,000 m² with a unique cactus garden in Europe and more than 250 animal species is located in a huge botanical garden. In the enclosures, you and your children can admire animals from different continents. The entrance fee of €39.50 or €25 for children includes various animal shows in which the animals are presented. Where can I eat out in Costa Calma?

The island cuisine of Fuerteventura offers some surprises in addition to the treasures of the sea. At the bar in the local pubs, delicious tapas such as marinated mussels, sardines, tortilla and much more are offered. The menu of the restaurants in the holiday resort is mainly enriched with freshly caught fish. A very noble favourite fish of the Canaries is the vieja, which is mainly served in upscale restaurants. Be sure to try a typical Spanish paella!

What is a must-see in Costa Calma?

Historic cities

Culture fans will get their money's worth at the Auditorium of Puerto del Rosario. The Casa Museo Unamuno is a replica of the accommodation of the famous Basque writer Miguel de Unamuno. You can visit it from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. (As of: November 2023) If you go climbing in the dark Caves of Caleta Negra, you will experience the fascinating history of pirates up close. In the historic town of La Oliva, historical buildings also point to the importance of the former island capital. History enthusiasts should take a look at the Casa de los Coroneles on the outskirts of the town. The building with its wooden balconies and many crenellated towers in colonial style was the seat of the military superiors until the 19th century.
