The house "Amalka" offers plenty of space for large families or groups. We were 4 adults, 2 teens and 1 child. On the ground floor is a large living/dining area with a massive table, 2x couch (not suitable for sleeping) and fireplace. Under the stairs is a large lounging area for chilling out and relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped, there are enough cooking pots, pans, plates and cutlery. Only sharp knives are, as so often, a deficit. There is a gas cooker and an oven, where we didn't guess the individual functions until the end and just used it by feel (and nose). The dishwasher has a few years under its belt, is quite small and the door doesn't open all the way to the floor. The landlord provided us with the tabs. The basic cooking equipment like salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and sugar is not available, unless the other guests forgot it
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms and toilets. From two bedrooms there is another staircase leading to the attic, where beds are set up in any case. All beds have a relatively low mattress and a chipboard instead of a slatted frame and are accordingly hard. Since there were enough beds, we simply took two mattresses, but with a full crew it gets difficult. The bed linen is included in the price. The bathrooms or rather the shower cabins were clean and there was enough hot water
The landlord was nice, friendly and helpful. His wine cellar is also available for guests
