Wonderful week in Kukuk

Dear Sommerfeld/Ohnesorge family,
for 14 years we have been traveling with our 3-4 generation group through the large holiday homes in MV and Denmark, but here with you we have found what we have been looking for a long time – enough space for everyone in comparable rooms, a large garden for play and relaxation, dining areas for everyone inside and outside, everything in tip-top order and clean, and the lake with its wonderful water – unbeatable. Thank you for the really well-thought-out window openings with blackout and insect protection and your friendly accessibility. We had a wonderful week with you and would be happy to come back.

Enjoy nature and tranquility

For us (a couple in our 60s with a Havanese dog), it was a fantastic two-week vacation with lots of peace, nature, and very nice neighbors.
Thanks to the description and pictures provided by the owner, we found the house without any problems. It's a small house, but it offers enough space and freedom to move around, even in bad weather. The house is very bright, thanks to many windows. Large bathroom. View from the bed into the greenery. The furnishings are well thought out. Everything was very clean. We just would have liked a slightly larger refrigerator. Fresh vegetables, sausage, meat, drinks... it was very cramped. Other than that, everything was great! Everything needed in the kitchen area was available. Sufficient cutlery, cups, plates, bowls, and everything else needed for cooking. Even large cups (mugs) were there. The terrace is well usable even in the rain thanks to the overhead cover.
No WiFi and the cell phone reception is moderate or non-existent, depending on the network. This didn't bother us. In Warin at the tourist information, the reception is quite good, and you can connect to the WiFi there. Very nice people at the tourist information.
It's only a few steps to the lake and you can enter the water there right next to the jetty - even with a dog. The beach is right next door. Like everything else there, it's very well maintained and clean. Dogs are not allowed there. The house also includes a rowboat that can be used.
If you like untouched nature and tranquility, this is the right place for you. However, a car is necessary here. There are no shopping facilities nearby (about 4 km away). Cycling here is only recommended with an e-bike, as it is very hilly. Or you are physically very fit.
