Description

It can be described as a green Eden for the trees surrounding it and for its quietness. The swimming pool ( m) is in the villa park, which is totally fenced and which can be reached by going through an electric gate. Guests can use the pool from the first Saturday in May until the first Saturday in October. The pool is separated from the villa by a lawn of about 100 m. There is an oven, not far from the villa, which was used, in old times, to bake bread and that guests can now use as a BBQ. The garden is very well tended and once or twice a week the gardener waters the lawn and the flowers. The villa is at the front of the property, while the annexe is at the back. Both, of about 500Sqm, are always let together in order to guarantee the guests privacy.
LA VILLA
The Villa has three floors. There are three entrances on the ground floor : two at the front (kitchen and living room) and one on one side. The kitchen is on the ground floor and has a fridge, a dishwasher, and electric oven and everything you may need to cook. The large living room has two impressive brick arches, comfortable sofas, Sat TV (Hot Bird) and a toilette. From this room you can get outside into the area where the stone BBQ is. From the living room you can also get to the first floor by means of an internal wooden staircase. You can also reach the first floor by means of an external flight of steps at the end of which there is a portico. Both flights of stairs lead into a living room which has a stone wall and a fireplace. From this room you can get to a double bedroom. From the living room you can also get to the second floor by means of another wooden staircase. There are two double bedrooms on the second floor, two bedrooms each with twin beds, a large living room, two bathrooms with a tub and one with a shower.
THE ANNEXE
The annexe is at the back of the Villa. There is a steep staircase leading to the first floor where there is a living room with a fireplace, two double bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom with a tub.

Villa Villar can be rented by a group of very wealthy friends and by people who want to host also a butler or a housekeeper. Dogs are welcome but not more than two. Groceries can be found both in Calzolaro and Trestina. The nearest pizza restaurant (Vecchio Granaio) is only one km from the villa. Spending a holiday here is really something magic : quietness, elegance and good taste are the most important features of the place.
