Holiday apartments and houses in Umbria

A friend had spoken very highly of it, but it was below what I found. The place is enchanting, a kind of small private village in the countryside, just a stone's throw away (if you want, even walking, there were Russians doing it twice a day) from Spoleto. Pool included (I didn't try it, it was still too cold for that). The apartment was truly such, not a small room, large and comfortable, with a perfectly equipped kitchen and above all, for me who doesn't sleep in new beds, a fantastic bed. The real winning card, however, is the hosts: Francesca and Ludovico. Ask and it will be given to you, but with spontaneity, exactly the opposite of the flattery from those who you can tell don't care about you but have to do it otherwise they get bad ratings on TripAdvisor. A kindness from another time, everything is possible, truly a hospitality of great gentlemen. As usual, it is the people who make the difference. It was an ideal stay, truly.

This is the second time we have spent our holiday in this beautiful and large holiday home, and we really appreciate the beautiful landscape, the seclusion and tranquillity. Especially for families with children, this domicile is very suitable: Our son was overjoyed to be able to just run out of the house and romp around the large property at any time of day. We spent both our holidays here in autumn, actually already late autumn, so at a time when the temperatures are sometimes already quite low. But this made the evenings particularly cosy, because the central place to sit together is in front of the large fireplace, where the firewood crackles wonderfully and is beautiful to look at, and you can snuggle up with wine and nibbles in the cosy couches directly in front of it. The house is surrounded by dense forests, and the landscape is a dream - viewed from the windows, it looks almost surreal, like a painting... In fact, you can start hiking right from the house and then you could stroll forever through the endless, vast nature. We enjoyed our two stays very much and we will certainly come back. Many thanks again for the good and quick organisation for us spontaneous holidaymakers! :)

A very quiet agriturismo with a nice swimming pool. The 3 km unpaved road is a challenge and does not make it easy to get fresh bread every morning. The terrace set at our house was a bit outdated. The Italian sun had made the plastic brittle, causing it to crack and tear. All in all, a beautiful place with plenty of attractions in the area.
