Great love!!!

This vacation apartment is something very special!! So cozy and comfortably furnished, this location, the view of the beautiful Schlei, watching deer and pheasants from the bedroom… we will come back as often as possible in the off-season, enjoying the peace, the landscape, and this little nest, and we will relax wonderfully ♥️

Pure relaxation

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. Everything you need is really there, and it is very well-organized and clean. It feels like home because it is cozily furnished. The fireplace is a highlight, especially at this time of year. The view of the Schlei is fantastic, the Geltinger Birk is not far, and the nearest beach is just around the corner. Perfect for jogging... We can recommend the fish smokehouse in the cute village of Maasholm. We will definitely come back!!!

Very cosy and top furnished

A super cosy and beautiful flat with a wood-burning stove, very clean, well-equipped kitchen - we wanted for nothing. We made ourselves hyggelig there, despite the bad weather.
Discussions with the landlady went smoothly and quickly by phone or message - very nice contact!
The Baltic Sea is about 20 minutes away on foot.
A storage space for bicycles would be great!
In the low season, the nearest shopping facilities are in Kappeln.
We would definitely recommend it!

The flat is furnished with much love. The kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook even on holiday. The dining table is a good place to linger and the bed is comfortable.

Schönes Quartier direkt an der Schlei

We felt very comfortable, often went swimming in the nearby Schlei, and went on many excursions. The apartment is excellently equipped and cozy.

A dream at the sea

As a small family, we were able to relax by the fireplace and enjoyed the walks to the Baltic Sea and to Schleimünde. We even saw the sea eagle. Always a pleasure!

A dream

The flat is in a beautiful location. In summer, you can jump into the Schlei for a swim almost from the front door. The Baltic Sea beach is also within walking distance. With a bicycle you can reach many beautiful destinations, lots of nature. There is a lot to discover. Even at the end of October, I was never bored. If the day was too dreary, you could relax in the really cosy, comfortable flat. Cooking, reading, watching TV.... I will be very happy to come back.

Very cozy and wonderfully located

The apartment is very tastefully decorated and superbly equipped. We had breakfast in the sun on the terrace in the mornings and sat cozy by the fireplace in the evenings. It is an ideal starting point for cycling tours, water sports, and beach walks.

The holiday apartment in the former mill is wonderful and especially in this ambiance. Highly recommended even in the darker seasons. During the day in the enchanting nature between Schley and the Baltic Sea and when it gets dark, it's time to enjoy the time by the fireplace. The equipment is generous like at home, especially in terms of comfort around the kitchen and dining area. There is no need to worry about the wood supply for the fireplace. It is somewhat regrettable that there are few places to stop, outside of the season.

Everything was great!

There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The house is very nice and equipped with everything you need. It is lovingly and stylishly furnished. Personally, I was very happy with the location. You were quickly at interesting places and had peace on site. The contact by email with the owners was friendly, uncomplicated, and fast. The personal contact with the caretaker was also very pleasant. Even in the face of unforeseeable problems, one of our cars had a breakdown, everything was done to ensure that we could still enjoy our vacation. It was very familiar, and we would love to come back.

Beautiful relaxing week

We were three and felt very comfortable in the apartment. When we arrived on a rainy Sunday, we were greeted very friendly and the fireplace was already lit. The view from the dining table or from the terrace of the Schlei was always different and very fascinating.

Schöner Urlaub

A very well-equipped apartment where we felt very comfortable. The stove provided us with pleasant warmth in the evenings when we returned from our hikes and bike tours. The view over the Wormshöfter Noor to Maasholm is simply great, and you can even see cranes flying in. Recommended!

Great vacation in a superb location.

Fantastic!!!

This is the most comfortable, tidy, and beautiful vacation rental I have ever stayed in (and I have stayed in quite a few so far). The location is great, very quiet - the morning view after waking up directly overlooking the Schlei - simply fantastic. It's not far to the Baltic Sea on foot. If you like tranquility (at least at this time of year), this is the place for you. Kappeln, Flensburg, Eckernförde - if you feel like going out, everything is easily accessible. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly contact with the landlady and especially with the caretaker on site – many thanks for the warm welcome. We will definitely come back.

the cleanest vacation rental we have experienced

Regarding the apartment, I have to say, it was the cleanest holiday home we have experienced so far. For about 20 years, we have been vacationing in holiday homes (NL and DK) and apartments (D) 3-4 times a year, and we have ALWAYS found something that we didn't like. Last weekend, we actually found a completely clean, preheated, fully equipped, and totally cozy holiday apartment for the first time. We really felt comfortable! Many heartfelt thanks!

Wonderful week of holiday

We had a really great short holiday in the cosy holiday flat. We especially loved the wood-burning stove - it was better than any TV. We enjoyed long walks along the Schlei and the Baltic Sea, culture and shopping in Kappeln and Flensburg and, last but not least, a rich harvest along the way: apples for immediate consumption and sloes for liqueur were just waiting for us. We will be back!

Wonderful holiday flat

the flat is in a very nice location.even in bad weather you can stay well in the beautiful flat, because the oven gives cozy warmth. There are plenty of games and books to keep you entertained. Beautiful terraces, two bedrooms, two bathrooms leave nothing to be desired. The surrounding area offers plenty of variety for excursions. we enjoyed the week very much.

Family holiday

We have rarely had such a beautiful holiday flat.
Absolutely lovingly and harmoniously furnished.
Maasholm and the beach are within easy cycling distance.
The only point deduction is that the shore of the Schlei was almost always besieged by the neighbours of the small terraced houses. Due to their presence (tents, benches, deck chairs...) we did not stay there.
But the holiday at the Schlei Mill was great !

Nicht nur im Sommer ein Traum

The ground floor apartment in the Old Mill in Wormshöft is a very lovingly furnished and well-maintained holiday home, even in bad weather.
Then everyone gathers in front of the fireplace and occasionally the view drifts out to the Schlei.
We were three people here for 4 days and were greeted with a large fruit basket, and the fireplace was already roaring after we announced our arrival. Our son immediately raided the bookshelf and found the small but nice selection of children's DVDs. For us, there was plenty of reading material about the history of the region and current event programs, and other nice books. The walk to the Baltic Sea is easily doable on foot with a child in 45 minutes, passing by a sea eagle's nest and Excalibur. We would love to come back!
