Great house with fantastic garden

We were guests in this great house during the summer holidays.
Everything is lovingly furnished. A great mix of old and new.
The garden is also a dream. So relaxing and you get frequent visits from the deer.
We really felt very comfortable. Fr . Ulfers has always been available. The communication was very good.
We are happy to recommend the house to others.

Thatched Roof Cottage Esgrus

Very nice house with a large garden, lovingly furnished and maintained. For dog owners: as it is not completely fenced in, you have to be careful because of the road and the deer that occasionally strolls through the garden.

Simply beautiful!

As soon as we arrived, we felt very comfortable and welcome in the Landhauskate. Very clean and everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A beautiful garden where children can romp and play to their hearts' content and parents can relax. As the cottage is in a rural location, a small roebuck visited us in the garden almost daily in the evenings and then jumped away again across the field. Bats, hedgehogs and hares were also to be seen
The surroundings with the small villages were fantastic and there was a lot to see and discover
We spent a wonderful holiday there and drove home again with melancholy. The children were also sad. That's why we'll be back next year and are already looking forward to it. Absolutely recommendable!

We can only recommend the beautifully lovingly renovated and equipped cottage. Everything is really there for a comfortable stay in any weather. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, the beds are comfortable, the garden is large, the surroundings are beautiful - the Schlei and Baltic Sea are quickly reached by car, the fireplace offers cozy warmth after long beach walks, and the ambiance is really great.

We especially enjoyed sauna sessions followed by drinks at the campfire.

Great value for money and very nice, uncomplicated landlords.

Conclusion: We would love to come back!

Great, original atmosphere. Quiet location, large garden. Contemporary equipment. Only the sea is not within walking distance - but we knew that beforehand ;-). Completely satisfied all around.

Ein wahres Schmuckkästen

The holiday home has top furnishings - well-maintained and absolutely clean - a very beautiful garden - the beds were comfortable and large - there is absolutely nothing to complain about this holiday home. However, I would like to mention a "sore point," which is the road directly next to the house. During the day, the traffic is impossible to ignore / in the evening, it becomes wonderfully quiet but unfortunately, the traffic starts again in the morning at 7:00 am.

Recreation with children and animals

We have decided on a summer vacation with our son and our four-legged companions relatively spontaneously. The location of the house is ideal for those who want to explore not only the beach but also the surroundings. This way, all types of weather can be optimally enjoyed. Cyclists should be aware that there are no bike paths directly by the house, so the road must be used. We found the house exactly as we had imagined from the pictures: cozy and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing week (the DVD selection was great for the whole family in bad weather).

The garden offers the opportunity to sit and relax in every corner, with plenty of seating options depending on the sun's position.

Beautiful house in prime location

Our goal on vacation was to finally relax and enjoy the peace. The house and garden are perfect for that. The house is lovingly and tastefully decorated, and the large garden offers many opportunities to relax. The location of the house is wonderful, no direct neighbors, just an occasional tractor passing by. Shopping possibilities and the Baltic Sea are not even 15 minutes away. One week was definitely too short; we would have loved to stay there forever.

Cachen.. etc.

A beautiful and typically thatched holiday home in the region has given us a very relaxing and rejuvenating vacation twice. The district of Angeln and the Flensburg Fjord have been our regular holiday destinations for years. The location of the thatched cottage is wonderful, quickly reaching the coast and the beautiful small villages of the Schlei region, as well as the towns we frequently visit like Flensburg, Schleswig, and Kappeln. Maasholm with a wonderful restaurant - almost forgotten.

Even the inland has a lot to offer - the passionate geocacher always finds new hiding places for caches.
Shopping opportunities in Steinbergkirche, etc.
The landlords are very nice, and the on-site caretaker is also helpful and always available.
Everything is available in the house, and the very personal and tasteful decor of the landlords creates a wonderful "feel-good effect." The beautiful garden invites you to linger - and our dog is especially happy because he can "run" to his heart's content. We are already looking forward to the next "summer break" at Landhaus Esgrus.

The exit to the street is, personally for me, a "tiny" restriction, but this, in turn, does not lead to giving fewer "stars."

Cozy refuge to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

We were there for the weekend with friends and immediately impressed. After a barbecue evening in the spacious garden with a view over the gentle landscape, it eventually became too cool outside in the early summer night, so we could still enjoy the cozy warmth of the stove inside. After a restful night and waking up in the lovingly decorated and well-equipped house for all occasions (modern country style with great attention to detail without being overloaded), having breakfast on the sheltered sun terrace and listening to the rustling of the trees - we definitely want to repeat that for a longer period.

Great house in a beautiful setting.

Beautifully renovated old thatched roof house, very stylishly furnished - a lovely combination of old and new that preserves the character of the old thatched roof cottage while still appearing modern with the new fitted kitchen and matching old and new furniture, the fireplace, etc. The house is very clean and superbly equipped, inviting you to spend a relaxing holiday in the region between the Baltic Sea and Schlei. The large, well-maintained, sunny garden with sheltered corners is ideal for relaxing and offers plenty of space for children to play and frolic. By car, you can reach Kappeln, Gelting, the Schlei, or the Baltic Sea in 15 to 30 minutes. . .

Autumn vacation in the most beautiful nature

We were two people, four on the middle weekend. Everyone was thrilled with the consistently completely and comfortably furnished "country house cottage".
Beautiful old deciduous trees. Several seating areas are designed sensibly, which were all used according to the position of the sun and wind direction. Everything is beautiful, we will come back.
