Description
Our house is located in the recreation park "De Watersnip".
The house has a cozy living room, a dining area for up to 6 people, a fully equipped kitchen with 4-ring gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, Aufbackofen, kettle, blender, iron and dishes. Two of the bedrooms double beds ( mx m sep. mattresses, each m wide), the third bedroom has a bunk bed.
The bedrooms are relatively small but adequate for occupancy of the apartment with more than four people, one should note the entire living area of the house (approx 60sqm), especially when it comes to a longer stay.
Well-appointed bathrooms have a shower, toilet and shower is at ground level without a shower tray with a curtain.
The house is surrounded detached and surrounded by a garden. There are two terraces (west and south). A large umbrella and garden furniture for 6 persons are available.

(H 26` Kettler aluminum wheel with 6-speed Shimano derailleur,
D 26`Motobecane with 5-speed torpedo hub gears, unisex 26`Peugeot with 12-speed Shimano derailleur, D 26`mit 5-speed gear hub). Use of bicycles is carried out under exclusion of any liability of the owner.
For our younger guests there is also a crib, a high chair with a seat insert and a wagon. A parking space belongs to the house. The building is directly accessible by car.
In the garden house beach toys, windbreak, etc. can be accommodated. Also for 1-2 own bicycles there is space.
About the Park Management can Internet access (WLAN) are booked (15 € per week).
The TV has a DVD player; a CD player with radio is also available.

Location and surroundings of object
Our house is located in the well-kept small resort "de Watersnip". Our guests have all facilities of the park. These include the heated outdoor pool (May-October), bouncy castles, adventure playground, football field, volleyball court, beach volleyball court, table tennis, skating rink, boules court. Furthermore, there is a supermarket, an excellent restaurant, a snack bar and a launderette (for a fee). In high season there is an animation program for children.
The beach of Petten is only about 900m away and can be reached by bike or on foot in a few minutes. The beach was completely rebuilt in 2015 as part of the coastal protection. So now extends between Camperduin and Petten a very wide kilometer-long sandy beach. The creation of new beach access has considerably shortened the distance from the bungalow park to the beach. Also in Petten there are still free (!) Parking spaces on the beach and in town. The center of Petten is also only about km. Both the holiday park and the place Petten offers plenty of rest and space for recreation. Families with children and nature lovers are in good hands here. Petten aan Zee, a small, still original seaside resort (over 1250 years old), is located directly on the North Sea with the beautiful, kilometer-long, sandy beach. In the center of the approximately 1,500 inhabitants comprehensive place you will find a supermarket with bakery, various small boutiques and some cozy restaurants. The village also has a miniature golf course, trampolines, bike rentals and tennis courts.
In the north of the village borders on a wooded dune landscape with small dune lakes and hiking or biking trails. Nearby is the nature reserve "Zwanenwater" with the largest spoonbill colony in Europe. The nature reserve accessible to walkers and cyclists has a size of 550 ha.
Only 10 km away is the beautiful old town of Schagen, with many shops, a large covered shopping center, typical Dutch cafes and restaurants. In the main season Thursdays the West Frisian folklore market takes place.
Petten is also an ideal starting point for many excursions, be it city tours of eg Alkmar (cheese market), Amsterdam, Edam, Den Helder or even tours through the beautiful countryside of North Holland with many beautiful, romantic villages, almost all of which are crossed by canals wide fields with windmills, or the visit of one of the many interesting museums. Beautiful holiday home directly by the sea

top renovated holiday cottage
We were able to spend our holiday this month in a newly renovated and beautifully furnished holiday home near the beach.
We felt very comfortable right there and were able to relax.
There are also plenty of leisure activities for children in the park and there is no room for boredom!
Despite a few rainy days, we had a great time at Park de Watersnip and didn't want to go home at the end!

Beach vacation in spring
Beautiful house in a perfect location near the beach. The beach is very wide and offers a pedestrian and cycle path that extends for several kilometers through the dunes. Despite some rainy days, we had plenty of great excursions nearby, and the house provided enough space to relax. The playground was especially great for the kids. Buying groceries in the village is relatively expensive. However, there are several grocery stores in Schagen, which is 15km away. However, you can also get fresh bread rolls in the village every morning or in the store in the park. The only drawback was that the park reception was not continuously staffed, probably due to the early season.

Very cozy holiday home right on the coast. Perfect for a relaxing vacation with sea views.
The house is located in a bungalow park that offers a lot. There is a large pool and a very new playground. With four people, everyone has enough space and otherwise, the garden invites you to relax. The house itself is very well equipped, and you can find everything you need. A thoroughly good holiday!
