Description

The enchanted country house "Casa Eva" in Gambetici, Istria, Croatia has been lovingly restored and brought back to life.
Located in a small hamlet near the west coast of Istria and Poreč, this charming country house is situated.
More than a hundred years old, in typical Istrian style. Recently neglected and falling into disrepair, it has been sensitively restored to life. With care and a great deal of attention to detail, it was designed, constructed, and realized. The result is something to behold. What has emerged is a finely tuned mixture of traditional Istrian stone house, combined with modern components, elegant furnishing details, unconventional furniture, and charming accessories. It is partially a wild composition of various styles, which harmonize excellently with each other when seen in the overall concept. In short. A thoroughly enchanting house with a lot of charm and great soul. "Casa Eva", vacation home for six people. A beautiful place to really let your soul dangle. "Casa Eva" Country House with Cozy Atmosphere
The holiday home "Casa Eva" offers three beautiful, individually designed bedrooms each with spacious en-suite shower rooms, an additional guest toilet, a spacious salon with an Istrian "Konoba ambience", integrated & cleverly highlighted "bedrock", a cozy sofa area with an open fireplace, ample seating, and a large flat screen TV with satellite connection. Between the perfectly equipped, modern kitchen and the living room, there is an appealing dining room with enough space for eight people. From every living, cooking, and dining area, one can directly access the outdoors.

Dog-Friendly
“Casa Eva” is a very dog-friendly vacation home and allows guests with up to three “well-behaved” four-legged friends. The beautiful property is completely fenced in, the garden, pool, and all associated terraces are well-maintained and invite guests to enjoy and linger. There are parking spaces directly at the house, and dog walks are possible in the immediate vicinity.

Ideal starting point
The "Casa Eva" offers a quiet, somewhat secluded environment. However, at the same time, it is the best possible starting point for any type of activity. To Porec and to the sea, it takes about fifteen minutes by car. You can start hiking and cycling right from the house. The hot spots of Istria like Rovinj, Pula, Motovun & Groznjan can all be reached within twenty to forty minutes by car. And those who want to retreat a bit from the hustle and bustle of the seasonal tourism can spend wonderful days on one of the pretty house terraces or directly by the pool with a good glass of wine from the neighboring wineries. An ideal place for multifaceted vacation days. The "Casa Eva" is available for weekly rental, preferably on Saturdays, but also possible on other weekdays by arrangement! The vacation home "Casa Eva" has central heating and can be rented all year round!

Travel time to the sea around 20 minutes!

Location and surroundings of object

Gambetici is a small hamlet located in the quiet hinterland of the Istrian west coast.
The sea can be reached in about 20 minutes by car.
Shopping facilities, restaurants, cafes, banks, and gas stations are never more than 5-10 minutes away by car.
Vacationers with dogs can start their first walks right from the front door.

The Istrian Peninsula is composed of Italy and Slovenia, and largely of Croatia. The regions mentioned here refer exclusively to the Croatian part. Istria's lively west coast is well-known, far less known, however, is the heart and soul of the peninsula, the enchanting inland around Motovun, often also called the Istrian Tuscany. A bit off the beaten path, but with a very special charm, is the east coast at the Kvarner Bay with its adjacent islands. Istria, mainly known to us as a summer travel destination, has many interesting and discoverable faces and is worth visiting even outside the peak season due to its warm, Mediterranean climate.

Blue Istria
The lively, bustling, gently sloping west coast between Savudrija and Medulin is referred to as Blue Istria. With its picturesque coastal towns strung together like pearls on a string, Blue Istria primarily attracts with diversity. There are bathing pleasures as well as all possible kinds of water sports, music, art, culture, and historical influences from Venetian to Roman times. Opportunities for refreshment and amusement of every kind, but also quiet places and secluded bays a little off the commonly frequented routes. Notable cities of Blue Istria include: Umag, Novigrad, Porec, Vrsar, Rovinj, Pula, and the Lim Fjord. Green Istria
Central inland is known as green Istria. Having remained spared from the annual influx of tourists common in the Adriatic region, it has primarily preserved one thing: authenticity. Here, within a radius of 20 kilometers around Motovun—a town built by the Venetians between the 13th and 17th centuries—one experiences the original Istria. Here, the clocks still tick a little slower, here people still live off their own agricultural produce, and here one finds peace and relaxation from everyday stress. The Istrian hinterland remains lushly green even during hot summer periods and provides the ideal ground for luxury-class victuals. In the spring, the forests are filled with aromatic wild asparagus, followed by pale, tasty spring chanterelles. In the summer, black truffles are on the menu, and autumn crowns the year with porcini mushrooms and the king of all tubers: Tuber Magnatura Pico – the white truffle, which is found worldwide only in Piedmont. Notable cities of green Istria include: Buje, Motovun, Groznjan, Oprtalj, Buzet, Hum, Pazin, and Svetvincenat. Wonderful holidays in Istria and always worth a trip!
