Description
The apartment Giorgia is located in the heart of Cannobio, about 3 km behind the Swiss border. The famous Swiss Nobel Ascona is about 8 km away.
The apartment is in a fully renovated villa directly on the lake, on the promenade, with stunning views of the lake and the mountains of the opposite side.
It is the only apartment that wird- rented out to vacationers -erstmalig from 2017 the other 3 are used for private purposes.
It is very quiet, although one is right in the center of the small fishing village.
On foot you can reach the public beach in less than 5 minutes, the pier, harbor, bike rental and countless restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops are within 800 meters.
An underground car park is about 500 meters, to unload you can park right outside the house.
The apartment is equipped as follows:

Bedroom with vaulted ceiling, bed, closet and bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and washing machine.
The entire apartment has been lovingly renovated and equipped with quality flooring and furniture, the 200 year old charm of the house was as obtained vaulted ceilings in details.
It is a delightful place to relax, to do something, or both. If you do not want to go into the valleys, or want to pay a visit to the outlets of Alessi and Co, or Milan, the car for the holidays you can really be in the garage !!

Cannobio is the first place behind the Swiss border. It is an idyllic fishing village that has grown in recent years somewhat, but has not lost the typical Italian flair.
Directly from the apartment you can make beautiful walks, or take the boat to the market in Luino on the opposite side, or visit the Borromean Islands.

Every evening great entertainment
Good diverse gastronomy within walking distance.
Beach proximity was also perfect.

Apartment in direct location on the promenade in Cannobio with lake view
We have spent vacation time several times in this apartment or in the directly adjacent holiday apartment. In the morning, you open the window, step onto the small balcony, and look directly at Lake Maggiore. The location of both apartments is prominent and outstanding - lake view! The apartment is clean and well-maintained. The furniture is somewhat dated and could certainly be - desirable - partially renewed.

Beautiful apartment in great location with a small downside.
The apartment was very clean and tidy. It matched the pictures and description in the listing. The washing machine and dishwasher are useful. The kitchen is equipped with everything one needs in everyday life. The living room could use a coffee table. However, the biggest drawback is unfortunately the mattress of the double bed. It is heavily sagging, which is felt strongly at night. I would strongly advise the landlords to purchase a new mattress. The Wi-Fi worked well and the heating too.
The key handover via the key box went smoothly. The contact on-site and the payment also went nicely and well.
The location is indescribable. In the heart of Cannobio, you reach the beautiful promenade in half a minute. You also have a great view of the lake from the balcony.
All in all, I would recommend the apartment. The price-performance ratio is also consistent, as long as we overlook the mattress. We would like to come back.

Vacation next to a construction site
The apartment matches the description exactly. The kitchen equipment is lacking small items like a wooden spoon, spatula, or a bread knife. The rusty balcony railing and the rusty balcony chairs do not fit the very good overall impression of the apartment. Unfortunately, due to the central location and the surrounding restaurants and bars, the noise level is very high until late into the night. But the absolute worst part of this week’s vacation was the construction site (comprehensive renovation) immediately adjacent to the neighboring house. The construction noise (jackhammer and debris chute, sometimes alternating, often in parallel) started one day as early as 6:30 AM. The lack of air conditioning caused the room temperature to rise above 28 degrees during the day. Opening the windows was not possible. The balcony could only be used in the evening hours, and it had to be cleaned from the construction dust beforehand. But even with closed shutters and windows, no conversation was possible in the apartment. After contacting the property manager, we were told that no one has an influence on it. Since the construction site has existed for a long time according to the construction sign, vacationers should be informed about it. After our return, this will go to our lawyer.

Sehr schade, wenn Menschen diese Plattform zur Erpressung nutzen. Da eine geforderte Mietminderung nicht aktzeptiert wurde, drohten die Mieter mit einer schlechten Bewertung.
Da wird dann auch das Balkongeländer und die nicht existierende KLimaanlage zum Thema......
Wie gut, dass es nicht viele solcher Menschen gibt, denn dann würde eine Vermietung keinen Spass mehr machen.!

Mitten drin
As Cannobio fans, we have always admired the promenade with its appealing bars and the apartments above them. Watching the hustle and bustle of the promenade from a typical Italian balcony would be enjoyable for us. We realized this wish in the Giorgia apartment. We liked everything very much. Starting with the location, the friendliness upon arrival, the very well-maintained condition of the apartment, and the extensive amenities. In addition, we received many tips for restaurant visits and excursions, which we then gladly tried out. All in all, a very nice experience and we will come back.
