Dreamy view over Lake Maggiore.

We have now been there for the 3rd time and have already booked again for next year. A little paradise for us with our 2 dogs.

Our arrival unfortunately was an unpleasant start. This unloading on the main street in pouring rain. . . . Catastrophe! But nobody can control the weather. . . . although these road conditions are not for everyone. The premises and the view were great! The minor issues (stained sofa cushions, broken clothes horse, indications of additional costs like tourist tax) could be fixed. Our final bill also did not match the readings of the landlord. We found that a pity, forfeited deposit. All in all, it was so-so for us. . . . Phenomenal landscape!

Holidays with a dream view ???

After climbing the steps to the house ? (a good workout?), we immediately felt at home in the clean and modern house.
Everything we needed was there.
The morning latte macchiato was guaranteed thanks to the Nespresso machine and frother, and the dishwasher and washing machine were also very practical.
The box-spring bed was super comfortable - we slept very well - and the view of the lake from the master bedroom first thing in the morning was a dream
We were also thrilled by the view of the lake from the balcony - we couldn't get enough of it.

The sauna sweetened the one rainy day we had.

The traffic from the main road was quite audible, but it is also quite centrally located.

Cannero itself is a charming little town and the walk there is a pleasant short walk.
However, it is advisable to take a flashing light (e.g. for a bicycle) with you in the evening to reach your destination safely. Even though the walk along the main road to the house was only about 200 metres, the road is very busy and relatively narrow.

All in all, we had a super nice holiday with a fantastic view ?

Great view of the lake

We stayed at Casa D at the end of July, unfortunately only for a week, and felt very comfortable. We especially liked the wonderful view over the lake from the balcony and the barbecue terrace. On the barbecue terrace you could also have breakfast a little later and still have shade from the adjacent banana trees, which I saw there for the first time in full fruit and blossom. Another highlight is the lower, covered terrace, which is not visible from the outside and borders directly on the sauna. Especially in the evening, you can sit there very nicely on the comfortable deckchairs. with a glass of wine. The small town can be reached on foot in a few minutes, and there are some very nice restaurants here.
The only thing that was a bit inconvenient is that there is no parking space at the house, but you have to park your car in the multi-storey car park in town. The hostess had pointed this out to us in advance. Unfortunately we had to leave a little earlier than planned, but Mrs Ackermann R. was kind enough to help us with the final bill. An all-round nice holiday with a very nice hostess. Thank you again, we will be happy to come back, maybe then to Casa L

Wonderful relaxing days at Casa Divina

We had wonderful and relaxing days in this dreamlike domicile. The view was sensational, the house was furnished to a high standard, nothing was missing! Unfortunately the weather was too good, so we didn't really use the sauna and the great lounge area ;-)
The contact with the landlady was uncomplicated and helpful, she had great tips for excursions and restaurants, which we gladly used.
The house is located directly on the shore road and the car park is a bit far away, but we knew that in advance and it was not a point of criticism for us
We would not recommend the house for small children or for people with physical disabilities
We felt very comfortable and will definitely come again!!!

Great holiday home with stunning views of Lake Maggiore

We had beautiful, sunny vacation days in the well-equipped Casa Divina. Along a piece of well-traveled lakeside road and a footpath, you can quickly reach the center of Cannero. From there, we could start many activities on foot or by boat.
After our outings, we were able to enjoy the various seating areas with a wonderful view. However, the tranquility was sometimes slightly disrupted by the lakeside road passing below the house. The contact with the landlords was nice and uncomplicated. We had another great vacation at Lake Maggiore!!!

Pure relaxation in a dream house

The house is perfectly equipped and impresses with its high-quality furnishings. The large doors and windows immediately gave us a holiday feeling and the dream view of the lake remains unforgettable. Thanks to the great mattresses, we woke up refreshed and could watch the boats from the bed in the morning with the first cup of coffee.

After our excursions, we made ourselves comfortable by the fireplace in the evening, so we usually didn't feel like going out to restaurants. One of the absolute highlights is the sauna with the panoramic view of the lake, and afterward, an outdoor shower and relaxation in the double hammock. What more could one ask for?

Thanks to the honest description from the landlord about the lack of parking at the house, we were prepared and had our reflective vests for all activities in the evenings. Especially during our November week, the landlord even made a special gesture possible. The contact with the landlady was excellent and the suggestions for local activities as well as the descriptions of the places were very helpful, lifelike, and humorous. We had a great, relaxing vacation - thanks to this dream house Casa Divina! Thank you Mrs. Ackermann-Rottwinkel for renting out this gem. We would love to come again - Fam. Schwedes.

Dream vacation with style and panorama

Every morning we were delighted anew by the panoramic view over the lake. Every morning we had to decide again how to make our coffee. And every morning we had to decide again if we really wanted to leave this small, stylish, cozy oasis. Our son (6) definitely had to leave behind many new, four-legged friends in the numerous stone walls on the property. It was good to have bad weather for a change, allowing us to use the sauna to warm up without feeling guilty.
The only downside, which was communicated in detail beforehand, was the short walk along the road to reach our own car in the underground car park in Cannero. It is advisable to wear high-visibility vests. Then even the Italian drivers show consideration.

Little paradise ? - yes it really is !!!

Even if you have an arduous climb to the house at first, you are immediately rewarded with a beautiful view over the lake. It doesn't take long to forget your everyday life and really relax. The contact with the landlord is always friendly and uncomplicated. There was nothing we missed, the house is equipped with everything you need. The shore road is the main traffic artery around the lake and you can hear it, but it does not detract from the relaxation. We would not recommend the house for families with small children, as you have to walk along the shore road to get to the village. All in all, a very successful, relaxing holiday!

A HOME WITH A DREAM VIEW

Once you have climbed the steps to the house, you are richly rewarded with a dream view.
Several terraces allow you to choose whether you prefer shade or sun. What they all have in common, however, is the view.
The house leaves nothing to be desired. Everything you need to feel comfortable is perfectly provided. Super beds, with a view
Fully equipped kitchen with various coffee machines
Living-dining area with a view, sauna with a view of the lake.
I can't think of anything I would have missed.
Even in dark weather, which we unfortunately had frequently during our 3 weeks, there is no boredom. The extremely nice and exemplary landlady has worked out lots of interesting excursion destinations and nice places to eat and provided interesting reading material. You can choose a highlight every day. Super! - Or you can just enjoy the lake in all its facets. Or you can stroll through the cute little village. Or, or, or... .
We will be very, very happy to spend our holidays there again (or several times).

A feast for the eyes

Wonderful stay with joy in the view of the ever-changing shimmering lake. Large outdoor fireplace and high-quality equipment in the kitchen - it's fun to cook and give room to the Italian way of life. Respect for the landlords, they provide a place here that is lovingly and attentively furnished and enables relaxed enjoyment. Stone stairs and narrow waterfront road are quickly forgotten once you are at the house. We will gladly come back.

a divine house

We felt very comfortable at Casa Divina - the view of the lake is simply sensational! Unfortunately, you can hear the heavily trafficked Seestraße in the outdoor area, but it wasn't as bad as initially feared, it is quiet inside the house. Booking and contacting the owners is uncomplicated and very pleasant. We would love to come back!

Simply fantastic!

It was a wonderful vacation. The house impresses not only with its location, its tasteful interior, the constant view of Lake Maggiore (even from the sauna), but also by the fact that nothing is missing. After the sauna, you can shower outdoors, in the evening you can relax on two terraces. Simply fantastic!

Traumhaftes Casa Divina

We felt very comfortable at Casa Divina. The view of the lake is simply fantastic. The house is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The only downside is that the main road passes below the house, where you have to walk a bit to get to the path to the village (Cannero). We would not recommend this house to families with young children, as the garden is terraced and there are various risks of falling. Very well suited for families with older children (about 4 years and older).

Erholsamer Urlaub

We had a wonderful time in this great apartment, we lacked nothing. We only deduct one star because of the many steps and the strenuous climb. But once you're up there... it's truly DREAMY.
