Lovingly and lavishly renovated, we offer from 2016 to our little paradise to rent !!!
When setting up, we have very modern furniture gathered with beautifully restored antiques from all over Europe in order to create something very special!

The Casa "DIVINA" located in Cannero / Riviera, 100 meters above the lake, about 300 meters before the center of Cannero and 8 km behind the Swiss border.
The famous Nobel Ascona is 10 km away and the popular fishing village of Cannobio about 5km.
The detached house is surrounded by a m2 private garden with palms, bananas, tangerines, grapefruits and orange trees and can be reached via the coastal road via a few steps.
Access to the house is secured by a lockable gate. To unload can be easily hailed on the quayside and then parked it the car in Cannero in a garage 800 meters from the house! The car is not actually required, since all transactions are restaurants, bars, the beach, harbor, jetty on foot in 5-10 minutes.
From 40 m2 covered lounge area, with sauna and shellfish and chairs to relax, you have, as well as the barbecue area and the upper terrace offers magnificent views over the lake.
For small private lake access is about 300m / 5 minutes, to the center, harbor, jetty or public beach 5-10 minutes. One has to go 150 m on the quayside and then it goes through an idyllic walk on.
If one chooses not to walk to Cannero, goes to 50 meters a hiking trail in the mountains, on which you can walk up to Cannobio !!!
The house is composed as follows:

Large living room with dining area with access to the terrace, fireplace, flat screen TV, (of course, with all German television programs!)
Open kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker, Nespresso machine and much more.
1 bedroom with box spring, x m, with lake view

Bathroom with corner bath and shower, large vanity, toilet and bidet
Lounge area under the house with a small cantina where the washing machine is housed.

The house has a gas heater for the colder days.
Both the house and throughout the garden, there are Wi-Fi !!

Since we own the house next door also, you can also rent both houses, if you are more than 4 people. Through a garden gate you can reach the CASALEONE. Normally it is closed and both houses with large gardens are independent!

Cannero Riviera is known for its mild climate it grow and thrive a variety of citrus fruits there. Grapefruits, oranges, lemons, tangerines can be seen everywhere.

From the house you can enjoy wonderful excursions for example to do with the ship. The Borromean Islands, Villa Taranto in Verbania, the promenade of Ascona, the markets of Luino, Cannobio or Intra are a popular destination.

The public beach of Cannero, ca. 10-minute walk, invites you to swim and relax.

Never again

Anyone wishing for a quiet vacation is unfortunately in the wrong place here. The house is on a slope and the noise from the road is deafening. To get to the parking lot (about 800m away), you have to walk along the national road without a sidewalk. Not recommended for oneself, nor with a dog or small children.

The area is not secure for pets; ours sought freedom and accidentally ended up on the national road.

The contact with the landlords was anything but pleasant. Address description was like a treasure hunt.

The settlement of the deposit was not done even after three weeks.

View is really very nice but we cannot recommend it.

Sehr traurig und primitiv , wenn man von Mietern erpresst wird und auf diese Weise geschädigt wird.
Unser Haus war nach einem Mieterwechsel noch nie so dreckig, sogar die Toilette war nicht abgespült.Der Hund hat unsere Möbel beschädigt, aber die Kosten dafür werden nicht übernommen.
Glücklicherweise gibt es noch andere Gäste, die verantwortungsvoller mit unserem Eigentum umgehen, die meisten von denen haben übrigens einen Hund!

Beautiful house with several terraces with great views over the lake.
Uncomplicated communication with the very nice landlords, who provided many tips for arrival and the surrounding area.
We had a perfect stay.

Time out with a dreamy view and plenty of sun

We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation at Casa Devina. The house is very lovingly furnished, modern, clean, and well-equipped – you feel at home right away. Nothing is missing, even a sparkling water maker and a coffee machine are there. The beds are excellent, and the view from the bedroom and balcony of the lake is simply dreamy. The steps to the house were not a problem for us, but we find it worth mentioning, especially for older people or families with small children. Unloading was also very relaxed for us in winter – in summer it could be a bit livelier with more traffic, but the view absolutely compensates for it. Due to the great central location, the nearby road is audible, but the magnificent lake view more than makes up for it.

The covered wellness area with sauna was a real highlight. Cannero is a beautiful, charming place and easily accessible on foot – a car is hardly needed here.

In advance, the landlords provided helpful tips, and the communication was very straightforward and friendly.

Overall, a thoroughly successful stay with great amenities, stunning views, and plenty of relaxation. We will definitely be very happy to return! ?

Beautiful house by the lake with sun

Great house for up to 4 people. Great balcony and terrace always with a view over the entire Lago Maggiore. Everything you need for living is there, nice furniture for feeling comfortable! We can highly recommend it!

Once and never again!!!!!!!

We were very disappointed for this price. Arrival with a fully loaded car was a disaster; we had to unload on a busy road and carry all the luggage up 30 steps. The police also confronted us. Unfortunately, this was not communicated. The 250 meters along the road to the footpath into the village of Cannero turned out to be dangerous, especially with animals or children. The "direct beach access" was half a kilometer away and overgrown, making it unusable, also due to a family of ducks (77 steps). The apartment smelled musty like old furniture, and there was only one air conditioner in the bedroom, simply insufficient. The other bedroom could not be used at all. In summer, it was unbearable and had nothing to do with a special residence. The view was gigantic! The coffee machine and excursion tips were great. The contact with the host was nice.
The additional charge for electricity, gas, water—everything that is actually included in a holiday apartment—was hefty.
I think future renters need to know this. Recommendation only in winter...

Great house with a fantastic view.

We had a truly dreamy and relaxing vacation at Casa Devina. The house is soooo lovingly furnished, with many small details, so that you feel comfortable from the first moment. The view is stunningly beautiful. The covered outdoor wellness area with sauna, hammock, lounge, and outdoor shower invites you to relax. Cannero Riviera is an absolutely charming place. We will definitely come back.

Our arrival unfortunately was an unpleasant start. This unloading on the main street in pouring rain. . . . Catastrophe! But nobody can control the weather. . . . although these road conditions are not for everyone. The premises and the view were great! The minor issues (stained sofa cushions, broken clothes horse, indications of additional costs like tourist tax) could be fixed. Our final bill also did not match the readings of the landlord. We found that a pity, forfeited deposit. All in all, it was so-so for us. . . . Phenomenal landscape!

Die Abechnung wurde nach den abgelesenen ählerständen der Mieter und der Reinigungskraft erstellt und die Nachzahlung der Gäste ausgebucht.
Es ist nicht hilfreich aus einer Bewertung zu erfahren, dass der Wäschständer defekt oder die Sofakissen fleckig sind- ein Anruf hätte genügt diese Mängel zu beheben.......... Bei einer Ankunft im strömenden Regen ist der Frust groß, aber das sollte sich dann ändern.....

Holidays with a dream view ???

After climbing the steps to the house ? (a good workout?), we immediately felt at home in the clean and modern house.
Everything we needed was there.
The morning latte macchiato was guaranteed thanks to the Nespresso machine and frother, and the dishwasher and washing machine were also very practical.
The box-spring bed was super comfortable - we slept very well - and the view of the lake from the master bedroom first thing in the morning was a dream
We were also thrilled by the view of the lake from the balcony - we couldn't get enough of it.

The sauna sweetened the one rainy day we had.

The traffic from the main road was quite audible, but it is also quite centrally located.

Cannero itself is a charming little town and the walk there is a pleasant short walk.
However, it is advisable to take a flashing light (e.g. for a bicycle) with you in the evening to reach your destination safely. Even though the walk along the main road to the house was only about 200 metres, the road is very busy and relatively narrow.

All in all, we had a super nice holiday with a fantastic view ?

Great view of the lake

We stayed at Casa D at the end of July, unfortunately only for a week, and felt very comfortable. We especially liked the wonderful view over the lake from the balcony and the barbecue terrace. On the barbecue terrace you could also have breakfast a little later and still have shade from the adjacent banana trees, which I saw there for the first time in full fruit and blossom. Another highlight is the lower, covered terrace, which is not visible from the outside and borders directly on the sauna. Especially in the evening, you can sit there very nicely on the comfortable deckchairs. with a glass of wine. The small town can be reached on foot in a few minutes, and there are some very nice restaurants here.
The only thing that was a bit inconvenient is that there is no parking space at the house, but you have to park your car in the multi-storey car park in town. The hostess had pointed this out to us in advance. Unfortunately we had to leave a little earlier than planned, but Mrs Ackermann R. was kind enough to help us with the final bill. An all-round nice holiday with a very nice hostess. Thank you again, we will be happy to come back, maybe then to Casa L

Wonderful relaxing days at Casa Divina

We had wonderful and relaxing days in this dreamlike domicile. The view was sensational, the house was furnished to a high standard, nothing was missing! Unfortunately the weather was too good, so we didn't really use the sauna and the great lounge area ;-)
The contact with the landlady was uncomplicated and helpful, she had great tips for excursions and restaurants, which we gladly used.
The house is located directly on the shore road and the car park is a bit far away, but we knew that in advance and it was not a point of criticism for us
We would not recommend the house for small children or for people with physical disabilities
We felt very comfortable and will definitely come again!!!

Great holiday home with stunning views of Lake Maggiore

We had beautiful, sunny vacation days in the well-equipped Casa Divina. Along a piece of well-traveled lakeside road and a footpath, you can quickly reach the center of Cannero. From there, we could start many activities on foot or by boat.
After our outings, we were able to enjoy the various seating areas with a wonderful view. However, the tranquility was sometimes slightly disrupted by the lakeside road passing below the house. The contact with the landlords was nice and uncomplicated. We had another great vacation at Lake Maggiore!!!

Pure relaxation in a dream house

The house is perfectly equipped and impresses with its high-quality furnishings. The large doors and windows immediately gave us a holiday feeling and the dream view of the lake remains unforgettable. Thanks to the great mattresses, we woke up refreshed and could watch the boats from the bed in the morning with the first cup of coffee.

After our excursions, we made ourselves comfortable by the fireplace in the evening, so we usually didn't feel like going out to restaurants. One of the absolute highlights is the sauna with the panoramic view of the lake, and afterward, an outdoor shower and relaxation in the double hammock. What more could one ask for?

Thanks to the honest description from the landlord about the lack of parking at the house, we were prepared and had our reflective vests for all activities in the evenings. Especially during our November week, the landlord even made a special gesture possible. The contact with the landlady was excellent and the suggestions for local activities as well as the descriptions of the places were very helpful, lifelike, and humorous. We had a great, relaxing vacation - thanks to this dream house Casa Divina! Thank you Mrs. Ackermann-Rottwinkel for renting out this gem. We would love to come again - Fam. Schwedes.

Dream vacation with style and panorama

Every morning we were delighted anew by the panoramic view over the lake. Every morning we had to decide again how to make our coffee. And every morning we had to decide again if we really wanted to leave this small, stylish, cozy oasis. Our son (6) definitely had to leave behind many new, four-legged friends in the numerous stone walls on the property. It was good to have bad weather for a change, allowing us to use the sauna to warm up without feeling guilty.
The only downside, which was communicated in detail beforehand, was the short walk along the road to reach our own car in the underground car park in Cannero. It is advisable to wear high-visibility vests. Then even the Italian drivers show consideration.

Little paradise ? - yes it really is !!!

Even if you have an arduous climb to the house at first, you are immediately rewarded with a beautiful view over the lake. It doesn't take long to forget your everyday life and really relax. The contact with the landlord is always friendly and uncomplicated. There was nothing we missed, the house is equipped with everything you need. The shore road is the main traffic artery around the lake and you can hear it, but it does not detract from the relaxation. We would not recommend the house for families with small children, as you have to walk along the shore road to get to the village. All in all, a very successful, relaxing holiday!

A HOME WITH A DREAM VIEW

Once you have climbed the steps to the house, you are richly rewarded with a dream view.
Several terraces allow you to choose whether you prefer shade or sun. What they all have in common, however, is the view.

I can't think of anything I would have missed.
Even in dark weather, which we unfortunately had frequently during our 3 weeks, there is no boredom. The extremely nice and exemplary landlady has worked out lots of interesting excursion destinations and nice places to eat and provided interesting reading material. You can choose a highlight every day. Super! - Or you can just enjoy the lake in all its facets. Or you can stroll through the cute little village. Or, or, or... .
We will be very, very happy to spend our holidays there again (or several times).

Traumhaftes Casa Divina

We felt very comfortable at Casa Divina. The view of the lake is simply fantastic. The house is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The only downside is that the main road passes below the house, where you have to walk a bit to get to the path to the village (Cannero). We would not recommend this house to families with young children, as the garden is terraced and there are various risks of falling. Very well suited for families with older children (about 4 years and older).
