Description
The holiday home Backbord was completely renovated in spring 2015. Warm red tones and lovely decoration await you throughout the house. A fully equipped kitchen with adjoining dining table and space for six people as well as a cosy sofa landscape invite you to linger.
Furthermore, on the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower at ground level. For your comfort, a washing machine and a dryer are available free of charge.
On the upper floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds as well as another shower room.
The rooms on the ground floor are equipped with underfloor heating. The bedrooms have blackout pleated blinds and fly screens.
Whether you want to make yourself comfortable on the sofa with a cup of East Frisian tea or enjoy the sun on the terrace equipped with comfortable garden furniture, our houses are suitable for a relaxing holiday at the North Sea at any time of the year.
Special features:
From the beautifully landscaped garden you have direct access to the jetty. The property, together with the starboard house, is completely fenced and open to the water. A privacy screen separates the gardens and offers privacy.

Sehr schönes Haus
We spent a week's vacation in this beautiful house. We felt very comfortable. It is great to stay in this house with 6 people. Very nice landlords.
My mother left her wallet in the house, it was immediately sent to us. We would always vacation here again.

Holiday home in a beautiful quiet location with extended usage options
We searched for a long time until we found a holiday home that suited us. We chose this house because we could bring our dog. Since there is a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor, it is also suitable for people who need barrier-free access. The possibility of boat and canoe trips directly from the house was the deciding factor in choosing this house. The on-site support was very good and accommodating. It should be mentioned that the fencing around the two adjoining houses located directly on the canal is closed all around, but there is a passage at the dock to the neighboring property. This means that a dog cannot leave the properties if all fence gates are closed, but it can run onto the neighboring property. If another dog is vacationing there, one must be careful in case the animals don't get along. And dogs who enjoy swimming have direct access to the water. They could jump in. Whether they would come out again at the dock is another matter. To the right and left of it, they could climb back onto the shore. For us, that was no problem. In all directions, there are nearby options for walking the dog. On the other side of the sluice, accessible via a nearby bridge, there is also a dog waste bag dispenser with a disposal option. From the house, you can reach the sea by car in 5 minutes. If we were to visit the area again, we would choose this accommodation again. Thank you for this beautiful accommodation.

A really great holiday.
