Description
Our farm is situated in a secluded location 400 m from the edge of the village, in a slightly hilly landscape rich in lakes and woods.
We offer you two extraordinary (non-smoking) holiday flats in a former pigsty and horse stable for up to 4 or 6 (adult) persons, which have been furnished in a particularly unusual and harmonious colour scheme

Enjoy your breakfast or the sunset on the outside terrace with a wonderful view of the countryside and a fire and barbecue area
The flats are quietly situated from the rest of the farm at the edge of the orchard.
On our farm live a cow, pigs, sheep, a donkey, horses and ponies. There are geese, chickens and rabbits running around the yard and meadows. Two dogs that love children and numerous cuddly cats are also present.
Depending on the pasture, the animals are right next to your kitchen or bedroom window or watch you while you have breakfast or a barbecue on the outdoor terrace. Even if the farm animals are not directly at the flats, they are always within sight.
Of course there is the possibility to feed and stroke the "small" animals, even the free-range rabbits. But you can also help feed the "big" ones or, if you are brave, feed a cow from your hand. Feeding pigs and stroking these bristly creatures is also possible at any time. The sheep are happy about any change from the meadow green in the form of bread or carrots anyway.
For children, the flat offers a cot, chair and crockery, a step for the washbasin, a toilet attachment, socket protectors are available. There is also a changing table for babies. In the garden there is a swing, a house on stilts and a giant trampoline. Children's bicycles, scooters and wheelchairs are available
For adults, there is a sauna in the orchard.
The flat does not have a TV. Experience the animals and nature and enjoy live with all your senses.

Our farm is located near the town of Lychen, which is surrounded by seven lakes, in the "Uckermärkische Seen Nature Park". The region is conceptually developing in so-called "soft tourism"

Take advantage of the beautiful surroundings for (water) hikes, cycling tours and walks and to go swimming. There is an extensive network of cycling and water trails with long-distance connections to Berlin and the Baltic Sea coast, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the Polish border.
The region offers numerous tourist attractions, the town and spa of Templin, Boitzenburg Castle, the Himmelpfort Christmas post office, the operetta festival in Neustrelitz.
It is only 59 minutes by train to Berlin Hbf from the neighbouring town of Fürstenberg.

Simple beautiful....
We have been to the Georgenhöhe farm several times. It is always wonderful. Rainer and Yvonne are very nice hosts. We feel very comfortable there, there is always something new to discover. I can't describe it that well, you just have to experience it.

super Unterkunft
Wir hatten mit unseren Kinder eine super tolle Ferienwoche im Schweinetall verbracht. Es stimmte einfach alles: die Unterkunft, das Ambiente, die Vermieter, die Tiere und die Umgebung. Für Kinder ist es ein Traum, so engen Kontakt zu den Tieren zu haben. Die Schweine wurden gefüttert, die Gänse in den Stall geführt, die Katzen und Kaninchen gestreichelt und auf dem Pferd wurde geritten. Wir haben eine absolut entspannte und erholsame Urlaubswoche im Schweinestall verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

Time to relax
This was the third time we had the pleasure of spending our October holidays in the pigsty. We and above all our children (8 and 10 years old) enjoyed it very much. The holiday flat is not only convincing because of the super equipment, but especially because of the cosiness.
We were able to really relax during these 5 days and leave the stress of the big city behind us. Special highlights this time were the rainy hike around the Wurlsee and the walk with horse and dog.

Einfach super!
Wir sind noch immer total begeistert und unterhalten uns sehr gerne über die entspannte Zeit. Seit mehreren Jahren haben wir verschiedene Bauernhöfe besucht und konnten
nun erleben wie fantastisch so ein Urlaub sein kann. Es wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail eine kleine Oase geschaffen. Die Ferienwohnung "Schweinstall" ist sehr außergewöhnlich und es fehlt an nichts.
Die Kinder liebten den direkten Kontakt mit den vielen Tieren sowie das Eier holen aus den Nestern. Das besondere Highlight für die Kids war der Hochstand und das große Trampolin. Die Gastgeber sind super nett und nehmen sich sehr viel Zeit für die großen und kleinen Gäste.

außergewöhnlich schöne Ferienwohnung mit Wohlfühlgarantie
Hallo ihr Lieben,
wir sind bereits seit 2 Wochen wieder daheim. Doch noch immer werden wir von Freunden und Kollegen gefragt, wo wir in den Ferien waren - wir würden so erholt aussehen! Und immer wieder erzählen wir gern, aber auch ein klein wenig melancholisch, von der tiefenentspannten Zeit, die wir (wieder einmal) in Eurem Refugium verbringen durften.

Ein Paradies auf Erden
Der Hof Georgenhöhe liegt ruhig und idyllisch auf einer Anhöhe inmitten von Feldern. Die Ferienwohnung im Schweinestall ist gemütlich, urig und perfekt ausgestattet. Dank der vielen Streicheltiere auf dem Hof, unzähliger Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, vieler Badeplätze und toller Wanderwege in der Umgebung ist viel Abwechslung gegeben. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Selbst unsere Kinder haben den Fernseher nicht einen Moment vermisst. Danke an Rainer und Yvonne für den perfekten Urlaub! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Farm atmosphere like something out of a picture book
We stayed in the very original pigsty, very well equipped, cosy and clean. Great view with sunset and free hopping white rabbits. Huge garden to run around in. Ideal for children! Animals to pet, watch, feed and play with. Very attentive and friendly hosts. Beautiful and varied surroundings. We and especially our three-year-old grandson felt very comfortable here.

Eine Reise wert...
Bereits zum dritten Mal haben wir Urlaub auf dem Hof von Yvonne und Rainer gemacht und wie immer war es eine Reise wert. Der Schweinestall ist top eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Der Hof lädt zum stundenlangen verweilen ein, hier können Tiere gefüttert und gestreichelt oder Trampolin gesprungen werden. Wer mag hackt sich auch sein eigenes Holz für den Kamin oder sammelt frische Eier im Hühnerstall fürs nächste Frühstück.
Es lohnt sich auch sehr, die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Natur ist wunderschön.
Rund um ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein ganz besonderer Ort !!!
Auch von uns ein herzliches Dankeschön an Rainer und Yvonne!!
Wir haben die Zeit bei euch sehr genossen. Der Schweinestall ist so liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Blick ins Land ist einfach traumhaft schön. Die sehr entspannte Atmosphäre hat uns einfach nur gut getan, ebenso euer einfühlsamer, geduldiger und unkomplizierter Umgang mit unseren Kindern. Bei allen möglichen interessanten Aktionen (z.B. beim Eiersammeln im Hühnerstall, beim Schubkarre fahren, Tiere besuchen, Otto und Willi füttern, und, und, und ...) hast du, Rainer, unseren 4-Jährigen mit einbezogen (das Baby war ja noch zu klein) und seine Fragen beantwortet.
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Gelbe vom Ei...
Wir waren im März im Schweinestall und es war ein toller, erster Bauernhofaufenthalt. Es war ein Freude mit anzusehen, wie unser Sohn seine Scheu verloren hat und am Ende (fast) alle Tiere anfassen und streicheln wollte. Auch das Eier holen aus dem Hühnerstall mehrmals täglich war eine Riesenfreude! Der Schweinstall war wirklich sehr gemütlich, die tolle Aussicht lässt einen das Abendbrot gerne kochen und selbst bei Regen hatten wir jede Menge zu tun! Ihr habt uns sehr nett empfangen und es ging alles seinen natürlichen Lauf, sehr unkompliziert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Danke

Repeat offender
We have already been here twice, once in the pigsty and once in the horse stable. And we will definitely be back. Pure relaxation (except for the wood chopping, but that's part of it if you want to be warm in winter and what must be must be ;) ). The children love the many animals, we love the relaxation because the flats are child-friendly and the children have so much freedom (if the partially open staircase doesn't bother you) and don't have to be constantly supervised because there are knick-knacks everywhere.
The hosts are super nice and help quickly and easily with almost any problem.

Perfekter Familienurlaub
Wir waren mittlerweile dreimal auf dem Hof Georgenhöhe und sind immer wieder begeistert. Der Schweinestall ist traumhaft gelegen und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Gefehlt hat es uns an nichts – und bei all den Tieren auf dem Hof wird es Groß und Klein nie langweilig. So stellt man sich erholsamen Familienurlaub vor.

Perfect farm holiday
After spending our holidays on various farms in Brandenburg, we discovered the beautiful Georgengenhöhe farm for ourselves in 2014. Even though we usually never holiday in the same place and like to try new things, we are drawn back here every year - we simply cannot imagine a more beautiful place for a farm holiday. We have already stayed in both holiday flats (pigsty and horse stable) and can only say: both are unique, very cosy and lack nothing. The highlight is of course the respective fenced terrace, which borders directly on the meadow with a view of the field - here you can enjoy the peace and quiet while the children are exploring the farm. If you are lucky, the animals graze right on the meadow behind the flats, so that you are greeted in the morning by the horse and donkey, who curiously stick their heads over the fence. The animals have grown close to our hearts from the very first visit, whether it's Susi the pony, Pinocchio the donkey or Apple the sheep - everyone has their favourite :).
Hof Georgenhöhe is a fantastically idyllic place where you immediately forget the stress of everyday life and can relax wonderfully... Thank you Yvonne and Rainer for creating such a great place!
