The holiday house is cosy and lovingly furnished, with light solid wood furniture, in the rural part of the carpenter extra living space is 64 separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a spacious bright living room with tiled stove and Polsersitzcke, flat screen TV.
Dining area and fully equipped kitchen Bathroom with shower, WC and tasteful furnishings offer a feel-good atmosphere. The large terrace offers an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountain landscape, the house is at ground level.

Our comfort holiday home is located on the outskirts of Grünbach, in the middle of its own meadows, a small idyllic village

The uniquely beautiful location on the edge of the National Park, in the middle of the Bavarian Forest Mountains, is ideal for wonderful excursions and hikes in the original landscape of the Bavarian Forest.The central location offers a lot of sights: National Park with animal enclosures, forest treetop path, glass blowing, Glas Joska Bodenmais, the glass village Weinfurter, Danube boat trips, canoeing on the Regen, three-river city Passau,

Repetition out of conviction
We last stayed with the Meiers in August 2019 in the larger, newer house. This time we moved into the older, but not just as cosy house at the beginning of April in beautiful weather, as we have a dog between now and then. In the larger house we accommodated our elderly ladies (both 79), who also felt visibly at ease in the house and the surroundings, and who confirmed how cordial Mrs Meier is in dealing with her guests. As in 2019, we came "down" within two days and could enjoy days with hikes with start and stop directly from Grümbach. You can eat particularly well in the Hubertus Stüberl in Schlag, just a few minutes away. In Kirchdorf im Wald, only 3 minutes away, there is an Edeka with almost everything you need. The bakery in the village also has many daily necessities in addition to baked goods. The sausage and meat products at the butcher Baumann in Kirchdorf im Wald tasted very good.

A dream of a holiday home!
We were very enthusiastic, this holiday home is very cozy, leaves nothing to be desired. We felt so comfortable that we even stayed two extra days. Very nice landlords, we were welcomed with cake and fresh eggs, and the farewell was just as nice. The view and the beautiful evenings by the fireplace will stay in our memory for a long time. All sights are easily accessible. It was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Thank you for that!

Relaxation, tranquility, coziness, warmth. Bull's eye in the countryside.
We (couple 56 and 49) were looking for relaxation and found this beautiful and cozy holiday home (on the right side of the picture). Warm colors, a fantastic view over the meadow in front of the house. Fantastic! Very comfortable beds (Schlaraffia), satellite TV, kitchen equipped with everything you need. Grünbach has no infrastructure, but it's a 5-8 minute drive to shops with a car. Very, very nice hosts!!! Everything was spotlessly clean. Easy access to Passau, Landshut, Regensburg, Bodenmais, Arber, Silberberg, and Regen. Very good dining at Hubertus Stüberl in Schlag.

Beautiful accommodation
we had 2 wonderful weeks with the Meier family. They are nice people, we were welcomed with cake and eggs. Very nice house in a great location and the dog also felt very comfortable. We will gladly come back :)))

It was a beautiful holiday
We felt very comfortable in the beautiful holiday home (larger house). The landlords were very nice and helpful, we were even welcomed with a homemade cake. Where else can you get that! The view from the terrace is simply fantastic in good weather. For hikers, the surroundings are excellent, there are several hiking trails leading away from the village. Otherwise you are always dependent on the car, but that didn't bother us. We visited Passau, Bodenmais, St. Engelmar, etc. For children there is a play barn and lots of vehicles from bobby cars to bicycles. In Kirchdorf im Wald there is the Baumann restaurant with very, very tasty food and a friendly, funny waiter.
