The Müritz National Park is the largest German national park and, with an area of 120 km², the largest contiguous water area in Central Europe.
The open design with the gallery, the large windows and the wooden construction brings a pleasant light atmosphere into the house. You will be thrilled.
In the holiday park you will find a child-friendly bathing beach, canoe and boat rental, riding stable, bicycle rental, petting zoo, mini golf, adventure playground, 2 restaurants etc.

8.70 euros per 1000 litres of water The small town of Mirow lies in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District, at the southern end of Lake Mirow, which is connected to the Müritz via a whole chain of lakes, rivers and canals and to the Havel via the Mirow Canal, which is part of the Müritz-Havel waterway. There are several larger lakes in the municipality, such as the Labussee, the Vilzsee, the Rätzsee as well as the Granzower Möschen and the Zotzensee.
Mirow Castle Island, a secondary residence of the Dukes of Mecklenburg [-Strelitz] in the 18th century.
The core of the castle consists of parts of the previous building from 1708, which was partially destroyed in the fire of 1742. The Baroque banqueting hall dates from 1710. The present palace was built from 1749 to 1751 by order of Adolf Friedrich III according to plans by Christoph Julius Löwe.
The Cavaliers' House for the court from 1756 to 1760 is a late Baroque building.
The castle church (Johanniterkirche), the oldest parts of which date from the 14th century, was originally a brick Gothic hall building that was extended and rebuilt over the centuries. It houses a princely crypt from 1708 and has a Baroque tower. The baroque interior was built after the great fire of 1742. The church was largely destroyed in 1945. After the war, the municipality commissioned the architect Paul Zühlke to rebuild it. Except for the crypts, all the original furnishings were lost. The church was consecrated on 3 September 1950. The tower was restored in 1993.

New Year's Eve with family
We spent a few days in the beautiful accommodation over New Year's. Our group consisted of 6 adults of different ages and two children. The accommodation was excellent for this. Everyone had enough space both for themselves and for spending time together. The equipment was sufficient, everything was available in good quantities, clean and tidy.
We particularly enjoyed being able to meet the needs of both adults and keep the children well occupied through the connection to the holiday park. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Only to recommend! Very nice landlords
We rented the house for a small class reunion over the weekend. Communication and accommodation with the landlords was excellent. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired and the house was super clean and everything worked. I can recommend the house with a clear conscience and will rent it again soon for a family holiday. Many thanks again to Fam. Reinke for their support for our 20th class reunion.

Short holiday with children & grandchildren
We found a great holiday home in a beautiful location.
The layout of the house is ideal for a large family. We felt very comfortable right from the start. The equipment leaves hardly anything to be desired. The house is located in a holiday park where there are many possibilities for leisure activities. We will be happy to come back.
