The Müritz National Park is the largest German national park and, with an area of 120 km², the largest contiguous water area in Central Europe.
The open design with the gallery, the large windows and the wooden construction brings a pleasant light atmosphere into the house. You will be thrilled.
In the holiday park you will find a child-friendly bathing beach, canoe and boat rental, riding stable, bicycle rental, petting zoo, mini golf, adventure playground, 2 restaurants etc.

8.70 euros per 1000 litres of water The small town of Mirow lies in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District, at the southern end of Lake Mirow, which is connected to the Müritz via a whole chain of lakes, rivers and canals and to the Havel via the Mirow Canal, which is part of the Müritz-Havel waterway. There are several larger lakes in the municipality, such as the Labussee, the Vilzsee, the Rätzsee as well as the Granzower Möschen and the Zotzensee.
Mirow Castle Island, a secondary residence of the Dukes of Mecklenburg [-Strelitz] in the 18th century.
The core of the castle consists of parts of the previous building from 1708, which was partially destroyed in the fire of 1742. The Baroque banqueting hall dates from 1710. The present palace was built from 1749 to 1751 by order of Adolf Friedrich III according to plans by Christoph Julius Löwe.
The Cavaliers' House for the court from 1756 to 1760 is a late Baroque building.
The castle church (Johanniterkirche), the oldest parts of which date from the 14th century, was originally a brick Gothic hall building that was extended and rebuilt over the centuries. It houses a princely crypt from 1708 and has a Baroque tower. The baroque interior was built after the great fire of 1742. The church was largely destroyed in 1945. After the war, the municipality commissioned the architect Paul Zühlke to rebuild it. Except for the crypts, all the original furnishings were lost. The church was consecrated on 3 September 1950. The tower was restored in 1993.

New Year's Eve with family
We spent a few days in the beautiful accommodation over New Year's. Our group consisted of 6 adults of different ages and two children. The accommodation was excellent for this. Everyone had enough space both for themselves and for spending time together. The equipment was sufficient, everything was available in good quantities, clean and tidy.
We particularly enjoyed being able to meet the needs of both adults and keep the children well occupied through the connection to the holiday park. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Only to recommend! Very nice landlords
We rented the house for a small class reunion over the weekend. Communication and accommodation with the landlords was excellent. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired and the house was super clean and everything worked. I can recommend the house with a clear conscience and will rent it again soon for a family holiday. We found a great holiday home in a beautiful location.

Relaxing Weekend in McPherson Valley Wetlands.
We decided relatively spontaneously to spend a weekend in the holiday house and found everything we needed there. In addition to a fireplace that was already lit before our arrival, so we entered a cozy warm house, the house has a sauna and a hot tub for colder days. We also made use of the cozy barbecue area in the garden thanks to the mild autumn weather.
The house is highly recommended!

Great family house for a large family.
We booked the house for a family reunion and it was simply great for that. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 of them with balconies, and a sleeping loft that our teenager thought was particularly cool. The terrace is perfect for grilling, especially in the evening with the great lighting. The house is lovingly furnished and the kitchen also offers enough pots and dishes for a large number of people (unfortunately not always the case in some holiday homes we've stayed in). Entertainment is ensured by several TVs, also with the option to watch DVDs, and there is a video recorder available in one of the children's rooms along with various videos.
For the little ones, there is a small climbing frame with swings right next to the house.
The house is very centrally located, directly opposite the information center and therefore close to the animation house, from where various activities start. The pizzeria is also there, and the food is definitely worth recommending! By taking a short walk, you can quickly reach the playground and the lake, making it easily accessible for smaller children on foot. We felt very comfortable and will certainly come back again.

Ein schönes Wochenende in Mirow
A very nice holiday home in the Mirow holiday park. We had 4 double rooms of different sizes and 2 bathrooms. There was also a room under the roof for 2 children. All in all, very nice. The location, right in the center of the facility, also pleased us. A downside was the organization of the restaurant "Pfannkuchenhaus". Despite an online reservation, we did not get a table (but also no rejection).

Completely satisfied
At this point, we would like to thank you for the excellent equipment of the holiday home. Everything we could wish for was available there. The furnishings were very tasteful, the rooms a pleasant size, the beds comfortable, and the bathrooms provided with attention to detail. We have never experienced such a kitchen equipment: Several large pots and pans, a wide selection of cooking utensils such as spatulas and whisks, grill accessories; we even found a garlic press. Nice that attention is paid to small details: some kitchen paper and toilet rolls for the first day, a few matches.
The living area and the wide terrace were the most beautiful. Everything well-maintained and clean. We felt very comfortable.
