This large private chalet is located on the hill of the Maiskogel. Only a short walk from the centre of Kaprun. This chalet of no less than 400 m2 is luxuriously and attractively furnished for a maximum of 18 adults and 3 children up to 14 years. On arrival you are at home . The chalet has two interconnected living units, which are also accessible via the shared entrance. This offers you two beautiful living rooms and kitchens. In addition to the nine beautiful bedrooms, you have four bathrooms at your disposal, one with its own sauna and bathtub, two with rain showers. The house is very comfortable for 18 adults and 3 children. Lots of space, no bunk beds and max 3 people per room! Due to the central location near the centre, the ski bus and the ski slopes, no car is required during your stay. Kaprun is known among skiing enthusiasts as a great winter sports resort. From 2020 very short distance from the connection to the glacier. The glacier is open almost all year round, so you can always enjoy the eternal snow.
Advantage for our guests: As our guest you get a great online discount on all ski and snowboard courses as well as ski rental. The supermarket is almost on your doorstep. However, treat yourself to extra luxury at the online sandwich service.

Wonderful house for groups
The accommodation is wonderful for large groups and has a fantastic location in the town of Kaprun, close to the ski bus/ski areas and for errands.
We were there in a group of family and friends with 19 people and felt very comfortable. There is truly a bed for everyone, and no one has to sleep on a sofa bed or in a shared room, as is unfortunately the case with many accommodations for large groups. The information about the rooms with the number of beds is exactly as in the floor plans. This allowed us to wonderfully plan in advance who will be accommodated in which room. Bathrooms, sauna, and kitchen are also well used and equipped.
There is a small deduction because there are only 4 keys for 21 possible people. That is simply far too few for such a large number of people.
The ski cellar is also only equipped for 16 people. There are only 16 shoe holders, and the holders for the skis/boards are also much too few. Unfortunately, the heating for the ski boots was quite cold, and the room was not well heated since the window had to be permanently open (due to humidity). Therefore, putting on ski boots is known to be somewhat uncomfortable. The checkout at 9 a.m. is quite early when the entire group is leaving in the morning.
Overall, the price-performance ratio is reasonable. However, it is a pity that one has to pay extra for towels and made beds. The extra costs deterred us after booking.
All in all, we were satisfied and had a wonderful holiday. Thank you very much, and we would be happy to return!

Es freut uns, dass du dir die Zeit genommen hast, Haus Almkreek zu bewerten. Wir bemühen uns stets, unseren Gästen eine komfortable Erfahrung zu bieten, mit Hotel-Boxspringbetten für eine gute Nachtruhe und ausreichend Privatsphäre, besonders für größere Gruppen.
Was die Schlüssel betrifft, ist es schade, dass dies nicht vor Ort bekannt geben wurde. Wir sind fast rund um die Uhr über WhatsApp erreichbar, um Fragen zu beantworten. Hättest du dies am ersten oder zweiten Tag angesprochen, hätten wir sicher helfen können.
Zur Skischuhtrocknung: Das Missverständnis liegt darin, dass es sich nicht um einen Skischuh-Heizkörper handelt, sondern um einen Trockner, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben.
Das Skiregal hat 9 Fächer, die jeweils für 3 Paar Skier geeignet sind.
Die Hütte wird von großen Skiteams mit sehr vielen Skiern pro Person und anderen großen Gruppen sehr geschätzt. Außerdem gibt es in der Hütte Abstellmöglichkeiten für Helme und Schuhe. Im Haus sind über den Heizkörpern Stangen mit Haken angebracht, um die Handschuhe trocken und warm zu halten. Die Hütte ist vom Parkplatz gut erreichbar und abschließbar. Die 16 m² große Skihütte ist beheizt, allerdings entweicht die Wärme schnell, da die Tür bei jedem Ein- und Austreten offensteht.
Wir haben eine gute Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Wäschelieferanten abgeschlossen, und ab dem Sommer werden Handtücher in der Buchung enthalten sein.
Wir versuchen, eine große Gruppe für ein breiteres Budget anzusprechen und es möglich zu machen, Haus Almkreek zu buchen. So kann jeder Gast für sich entscheiden, ob er das Angebot bei der Buchung behält oder ob er zusätzliches Komfort und mehr Entlastung wünscht.
Es ist schön, dass dir das Haus und die Sauberkeit gefallen haben. Die Reinigung eines so großen Hauses braucht Zeit, aber wir finden es wichtig, dass unsere Gäste in einem sauberen Haus ankommen, und wir schätzen es, dass du dies bemerkt hast.
Es war schön, dich bei uns zu haben.
Wir hoffen, dich in Zukunft gerne wieder in Haus Almkreek begrüßen zu dürfen!

Perfect stay for a large group up to 18-21 people
Almkreek Vila has evertything you need for a large group of skiers and snowboarders. Has 9 rooms diveded in two apartments with very large living rooms. You have parking spots for at least 5-6 cars and enough place for ski and snowboard equipment. All members of my group were very happy about this chalet. If we return to Kaprun as a large group this is a great option. Owner is a very nice person ready to help anytime if needed. Thank you for evetrything agent Smith:)

Great holiday home for a larger group with a few minor flaws
We had a great week in the holiday home. The spacious living room was perfect for us. The kitchens were adequately equipped to cook for 16 people, the beds were comfortable. The way to the ski bus was fine, about 5 minutes in ski boots. There is a supermarket nearby, which can be reached in a 5 minute walk.
The sauna was too small. You couldn't even sit comfortably with two people.
There are a few points that should be adjusted:
- Some lights didn't work. For example, one of the table lamps on the 1st floor and most of the lamps in the large room in the attic.
- The lights in the hallways are too dark and the motion sensors don't work very well at times.
- The beds were too short for a person who is 2m tall.
- There was not enough space in the ski room. There are only drying places for 15 pairs of ski boots. The house is for 18 people.
- We do not agree with the check-out rule that you are not allowed to leave any dishes in the dishwasher. Therefore, on the departure day, we had to wash everything from breakfast by hand. Check-out at 9 am is also very early.
- Having to make and remove the bed linen ourselves felt more like a youth hostel.
- Two people canceled four days before departure. I immediately inquired about a refund, but there was no reimbursement. Understandable for the regular costs, but for example, we would have expected a refund of the tourist tax paid in advance or a portion of the cleaning costs, as we also used two fewer beds in the end. We were only provided with 16 bed covers.
We would be happy if the improvement suggestions are implemented and would recommend the house if you pay attention to the price/performance ratio. We found the ratio to be very good here.

Wir freuen uns, dass Ihnen das Haus Almkreek gefallen hat und Sie das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis geschätzt haben. Haus Almkreek verfügt über 21 Betten. Mit einer großen Gruppe in den Urlaub zu fahren, macht großen Spaß, aber auch ab und zu mal einen Moment für sich allein zu haben, ist angenehm. Entspannen nach einem Skitag, ein Buch lesen oder Zeit nutzen auf Ihren Laptop in Ihrem eigenen Zimmer. Wir geben unseren Gästen diese Möglichkeit und bieten die Möglichkeit, das Haus Almkreek bis zu 16 Personen zu buchen. Weitere Personen zahlen extra. Bei 16 Personen hat jedes Paar ein eigenes Zimmer. Der Grundpreis ändert sich nicht, wenn weniger Personen kommen. Kein Zimmer ist verschlossen und die gesamte Villa wird gereinigt. Stornierungen sind gemäß den AGB möglich. Wir empfehlen eine Reiserückschrittversicherung abzuschließen.
Wir und unser Haushälterin ist immer bereit, alle Fragen und Wünsche sofort zu klären. Nach der Abreisen können wir leider nichts mehr ausrichten. Wir sind bestrebt, Ihren Urlaub so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Energiesparlampen und ein Dimmer passen leider nicht zusammen. Offenbar waren versehentlich die falschen Lampen eingebaut worden. Der Hausmeister hat die Energiesparlampen sofort durch normale ersetzt. Der Dimmer wird nach der Saison ausgetauscht. Ein Bewegungsmelder funktioniert nur, wenn kein Tageslicht vorhanden ist.
Skibushaltestelle ist 5 Minuten, Kurzweg zum Supermarkt ist einen Minut ?

Great house for a larger group
We spent a very nice holiday week in the Almkreek house. The house is very clean and the location is great. Supermarket, bus stop and the village centre are within easy reach.
With the ski bus it is only 10 minutes to the glacier lift. We would love to come back?

The house is nicely decorated and excellently equipped.
The separate ski room with boot dryer is super practical.
