Description
This large private chalet is located on the hill of the Maiskogel. Only a short walk from the centre of Kaprun. This chalet of no less than 400 m2 is luxuriously and attractively furnished for a maximum of 18 adults and 3 children up to 14 years. On arrival you are at home . The chalet has two interconnected living units, which are also accessible via the shared entrance. This offers you two beautiful living rooms and kitchens. In addition to the nine beautiful bedrooms, you have four bathrooms at your disposal, one with its own sauna and bathtub, two with rain showers. The house is very comfortable for 18 adults and 3 children. Lots of space, no bunk beds and max 3 people per room! Due to the central location near the centre, the ski bus and the ski slopes, no car is required during your stay. Kaprun is known among skiing enthusiasts as a great winter sports resort. From 2020 very short distance from the connection to the glacier. The glacier is open almost all year round, so you can always enjoy the eternal snow.
Advantage for our guests: As our guest you get a great online discount on all ski and snowboard courses as well as ski rental. The supermarket is almost on your doorstep. However, treat yourself to extra luxury at the online sandwich service.

Perfect stay for a large group up to 18-21 people
Almkreek Vila has evertything you need for a large group of skiers and snowboarders. Has 9 rooms diveded in two apartments with very large living rooms. You have parking spots for at least 5-6 cars and enough place for ski and snowboard equipment. All members of my group were very happy about this chalet. If we return to Kaprun as a large group this is a great option. Owner is a very nice person ready to help anytime if needed. Thank you for evetrything agent Smith:)

Great holiday home for a larger group with a few minor flaws
We had a great week in the holiday home. The spacious living room was perfect for us. The kitchens were adequately equipped to cook for 16 people, the beds were comfortable. The way to the ski bus was fine, about 5 minutes in ski boots. There is a supermarket nearby, which can be reached in a 5 minute walk.
The sauna was too small. You couldn't even sit comfortably with two people.
There are a few points that should be adjusted:
- Some lights didn't work. For example, one of the table lamps on the 1st floor and most of the lamps in the large room in the attic.
- The lights in the hallways are too dark and the motion sensors don't work very well at times.
- The beds were too short for a person who is 2m tall.
- There was not enough space in the ski room. There are only drying places for 15 pairs of ski boots. The house is for 18 people.
- We do not agree with the check-out rule that you are not allowed to leave any dishes in the dishwasher. Therefore, on the departure day, we had to wash everything from breakfast by hand. Check-out at 9 am is also very early.
- Having to make and remove the bed linen ourselves felt more like a youth hostel.
- Two people canceled four days before departure. I immediately inquired about a refund, but there was no reimbursement. Understandable for the regular costs, but for example, we would have expected a refund of the tourist tax paid in advance or a portion of the cleaning costs, as we also used two fewer beds in the end. We were only provided with 16 bed covers.
We would be happy if the improvement suggestions are implemented and would recommend the house if you pay attention to the price/performance ratio. We found the ratio to be very good here.

Wir freuen uns, dass Ihnen das Haus Almkreek gefallen hat und Sie das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis geschätzt haben. Haus Almkreek verfügt über 21 Betten. Mit einer großen Gruppe in den Urlaub zu fahren, macht großen Spaß, aber auch ab und zu mal einen Moment für sich allein zu haben, ist angenehm. Entspannen nach einem Skitag, ein Buch lesen oder Zeit nutzen auf Ihren Laptop in Ihrem eigenen Zimmer. Wir geben unseren Gästen diese Möglichkeit und bieten die Möglichkeit, das Haus Almkreek bis zu 16 Personen zu buchen. Weitere Personen zahlen extra. Bei 16 Personen hat jedes Paar ein eigenes Zimmer. Der Grundpreis ändert sich nicht, wenn weniger Personen kommen. Kein Zimmer ist verschlossen und die gesamte Villa wird gereinigt. Stornierungen sind gemäß den AGB möglich. Wir empfehlen eine Reiserückschrittversicherung abzuschließen.
Wir und unser Haushälterin ist immer bereit, alle Fragen und Wünsche sofort zu klären. Nach der Abreisen können wir leider nichts mehr ausrichten. Wir sind bestrebt, Ihren Urlaub so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Energiesparlampen und ein Dimmer passen leider nicht zusammen. Offenbar waren versehentlich die falschen Lampen eingebaut worden. Der Hausmeister hat die Energiesparlampen sofort durch normale ersetzt. Der Dimmer wird nach der Saison ausgetauscht. Ein Bewegungsmelder funktioniert nur, wenn kein Tageslicht vorhanden ist.
Skibushaltestelle ist 5 Minuten, Kurzweg zum Supermarkt ist einen Minut ?

Great house for a larger group
We spent a very nice holiday week in the Almkreek house. The house is very clean and the location is great. Supermarket, bus stop and the village centre are within easy reach.
With the ski bus it is only 10 minutes to the glacier lift. We would love to come back?

Beautiful spacious house in a great location
We stayed with a group of 15 men at Haus Almkreek. Our goal was to go (race) cycling there for a week. For that purpose, this place and this house are excellent.
The house is spacious and fully equipped. It is modern and comfortable. The beds are great, and the washer and dryer are very convenient. The "shed" to store the bikes is fantastic. We were able to use the spacious garden with a large table, plenty of chairs, and a BBQ a lot luckily. Contact with the landlord went smoothly and pleasantly. Just a note about cycling: there are beautiful rides to be had in the area. Of course, with a lot of climbing such as the Grossglockner, Taurnmoossee, and Kolm Saigurn. But also a loop around Saalfelden, Dienten, or Kitzbuhel/St Johann. In short: highly recommended.

Super mooi huis
Super nice house where nothing is missing. Everything is top notch and a great location in Kaprun. Just cross the road and you are at the bus stop that takes you to the glacier or Maiskogel / Zell am See.

Had a super fun holiday in the Kapruner Alm house.
Lovely house, both inside and outside plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 adolescents. Very nicely decorated! Very suitable to rent with family, very spacious and luxurious inventory.
Beautiful location with a view of Kaprun/mountains/glacier/green meadows, etc.
There is also a lot to do in the area in summer.
Supermarket within walking distance.
Worth repeating!

Great holiday apartment
We really enjoyed our vacation. The holiday home is very well-equipped. The landlady is very uncomplicated, even with our rebooking request due to Corona, we found great solutions together and even got an upgrade in the end. Great area with fantastic excursion options in summer and winter. There are also plenty of opportunities for children to experience nature here.

Geweldige woning
For the winter sports vacation, we rented this house with our family (ages 2 to 59).
It is a super nice, clean, neat, complete, and spacious house. Two very spacious living rooms, many neat bedrooms, and several bathrooms that can all be used at the same time. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the amenities. With spacious corner sofas, two large TVs, fast WIFI, and a large games room in the kitchen, you can relax and enjoy yourself. The house has more than enough parking space. It is centrally located with a supermarket just steps away. The ski bus is within walking distance. You can also easily walk to the center of Kaprun. The walk to the ski lift is a bit far for us (about 1km), but you can quickly drive to Kaprun or Zell where there is ample parking. The landlords respond quickly to all kinds of questions before and during the vacation. Also, the deposit was quickly refunded.

Just as nice as in the pictures.
We stayed in this house for our ski vacation and it did not disappoint at all. The photos on this website provide a good indication of how the place looks, and it is just as nice as in the pictures. The location is great for skiing. Maiskogel bahn is within walking distance (although a little far with ski boots and skis), but if you have a car, there are also other options to go to (Glacier, Zell am See, and Saalbach). The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of kitchenware for a large group. Everything, including bathrooms, looked nice and clean. The house has some nice extras like a sauna, bubble bath, drying room for the ski gear, two kitchen areas, and two living rooms. One thing I did not like too much was the pillow; it was a little bit too thin and soft for my liking. If you value a large pillow, I recommend taking your own. I definitely recommend staying in this house! Great value for your money.

Die optimale Woche
We have now been guests at Haus Almkreek for the second time and once again we were able to confirm that it is the perfect solution for a group vacation in Kaprun. The house has a great size, is beautifully furnished, is easily accessible on foot or by ski bus, and offers plenty of space to retreat and relax quietly. The sauna in the basement completes everything. We have always been greeted very friendly and have never lacked anything. The house is already booked for next year.

Our group of 17 people really enjoyed the stay in Kaprun. View from the terrace was nice and relaxing with a cup of coffee. There is plenty of space for big groups, enough space to park a few cars. The kitchen was well equipped, big living room to relax and spend time together.

The villa is absolutely beautiful, modern and decorated with very good taste. The location is perfect for skiing in Kaprun and also in Zell am See. It looks just like in the pictures: spacious living rooms, comfortable beds, big terrace and sauna. We were very pleased about our accommodation and the owners and land lady also were very kind and hospitable.

luxurious and spacious holiday home
A holiday home where you would like to live. Plenty of living space. Due to the beautiful weather, we mostly sat outside on the spacious terrace and always ate at the large dining table with comfortable chairs. The barbecue was also used. 3 bathrooms, so you never have to wait for a shower. Contact with the landlords is quick and easy. It's also nice that there is plenty of parking available. Furthermore, not far from the supermarket and the village center. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of dishes. An ideal holiday home! 5 stars from us!

Wonderful ski week, perfect accommodation!
Our ski vacation was fantastic! It was due to the conviviality in our group, the beautiful weather - with lots of snow and sun - and the stunning Austrian landscape. And - it was due to their very nice apartment. The apartment is modern and very efficiently furnished. It has a spacious, magnificent kitchen island and a wonderfully large, sturdy dining table with a bench, even the knives were sharp and that is not the case in many vacation apartments. There was plenty of cutlery, pots, plates, bowls, etc.
The bathrooms are modern, clean and warm. The beds are also wonderful. There are motion sensors in the hallway, very practical, especially at night.
The BILA supermarket is nearby and easy to reach on foot, which was particularly advantageous for us flight passengers without a car. We were even allowed to take the shopping cart to the apartment. In summary: the apartment was wonderful for our ski group of 10 people and met all our expectations.

Our holiday was fantastic!
This was due to the coziness in our group, the beautiful weather - with lots of snow and plenty of sun - and the stunning Austrian landscape. And this was also thanks to your lovely apartment where we stayed. The apartment is modern and very efficiently furnished. There is a beautiful kitchen island and a sturdy dining table; even the knives were sharp, which is not often the case in many vacation apartments. There were plenty of cutlery, plates, bowls, etc. The BILA within walking distance is a plus. We were even allowed to take the trolley to the apartment! The bathrooms are beautiful and very practical. The beds are also great. The automatic light in the hallway is very practical, especially at night.
In short, the apartment was definitely entirely to our liking.
