Our holiday apartment on the top floor is 72 m² in size and suitable for a maximum of 5 people. It consists of two bedrooms. While the larger bedroom is equipped with a double bed, a sofa bed (travel cot available), and a TV, the second bedroom offers 2 single beds as well as a play carpet with various play options.
The living room invites you to relax with a spacious and comfortable seating area, flat-screen TV, and DVD player. The separate bathroom is equipped with a spacious walk-in shower, washbasin, and toilet (toilet seat and potty available).
The kitchen features a comfortable dining area (high chair available), radio, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and refrigerator with freezer compartment, basic kitchen supplies (dishwasher tabs, cloths, dish soap, sponges, kitchen roll, tea, spices, coffee filters). From there you reach a loggia furnished with comfortable wicker chairs and a sunshade, offering a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding mountains of the Thuringian Forest. There is another holiday apartment in the house, suitable for a maximum of 2-3 people.

Welcome to Goldlauter, a state-recognised resort in the Vessertal biosphere reserve in the Thuringian Forest!
Goldlauter (550 -700 m) is a district of the well-known arms town of Suhl and lies idyllically at the foot of the highest mountain in the Thuringian Forest. A charming landscape with vast meadow valleys and dense forests is right on your doorstep. Here you can spend relaxing days and unwind on secluded paths in romantic surroundings. Thanks to well-signposted hiking trails, you can conquer 9 of the 10 highest mountains in the Thuringian Forest from here and of course learn to enjoy the famous ridge trail of the Thuringian Forest, the Rennsteig. In winter, an approx. 50 km long network of cross-country ski trails around the Großer Beerberg (ski hire available) and the more challenging downhill slope on the Salzberg invite you to take part in sporting activities. Due to the close proximity to Oberhof, you can take advantage of a wide range of leisure activities (guest card, Thuringian Forest Card)

Great modern holiday flat in beautiful surroundings

We stayed with our two girls (7 and 1) for a few days in the holiday flat on the ground floor of the house and are still thrilled. It is modern and furnished with great attention to detail. The equipment is excellent, nothing is missing. The flat was very clean and we felt very comfortable. The lovely landlords, the Heinz/Hopf family, have really put a lot of effort into this. Simply recommendable!
