More holiday homes with private pool on request! The approximately 130 sqm holiday house LA CORONA is an independent, free-standing at 4 pages typical Tuscan farmhouse. Built in 1800, recently restored to its original in 2006. house, land (2 ha olive grove, 1 ha of forest), and pool are only available to you, here you can undisturbed enjoy your holiday without having to take on additional guests consideration. So ideal for families with children and dogs.
INDOORS:
All rooms in delicate pastel shades radiate warmth and homeliness. Compared to the very comfortable and well-equipped kitchen with satellite TV and large fireplace from the time the dining room with 'Knights' Hall flair'. 8 steps lead to the 1st floor with a bathroom (shower, toilet, bidet), which is lined with precious mosaic decoration. In the 2nd floor are a double and a twin bedroom with panoramic view. From the 2nd floor is accessed via 4 terracotta steps in the attic room with single bed for a 5th person. The furniture is mostly antique.
Throughout the ground floor, the ceilings are very high and designed as in the other floors, terracotta and beams made of chestnut wood. Typical terracotta tiles cover the entire floor. Special attention deserves the masterful handling of terracotta in the entrance area and in all staircases to walls and vaulted ceilings. Other areas are again plastered yellow corn. A rarity in the bathroom: the sink itself is made of terracotta and is set into marble.
OUTDOORS: Behind the house without the neighbors can see, is available for sole use an approximately 3 hectares of land available, which is located in approximately 2 ha olive grove (partly sloping) and divided into about 1 ha of forest and you not directly accessible from the rear of the house, but by the house semi herum- from the main entrance to the right and then go down to the olive grove. Here you can finally switch off and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, either on a lawn or a romantic, entwined with vines gazebo in the olive grove from. The builders of LA CORONA had 200 years after their delight at their home: The house has been faithfully, in painstaking detailed work - of course with today's comfort - masterfully reconstructed.

Immerse yourself in another world - Beautiful
The stone house, which is over 200 years old, is beautiful and located in a quiet idyllic area, far away from any street noise. We, a small family with a 4 year old son, felt very comfortable. The landlords and the neighbours - wonderful people who gave us a feeling of security, as if we had known each other for a long time. One of the neighbours is fluent in English, with whom we had very nice conversations and who advised us in detail about the sights in Tuscany without being pushy
Everything we needed was available in the house. I recommend it to every Tuscan traveller who wants to immerse themselves in another world and experience Tuscany in all its wonderful splendour.

Entspannter Toskana-Urlaub in Monsummano Alto
Wir haben zwei Wochen mit drei Kindern (9,12,14) im Ferienhaus 'La Corona' verbracht und uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus selbst liegt zwar etwas abgelegen auf dem Berg, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana lassen sich aber mit dem Auto durch die gute Anbindung in 1/2- 1 1/2 Stunden erreichen und so waren wir unter anderem in Lucca, Pisa, Florenz und Siena. Den Kindern hat besonders der Swimmingpool sehr gefallen und sie haben von dieser Möglichkeit der Abkühlung fast täglich Gebrauch gemacht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und wir durften uns im Garten nach Herzenslust bedienen.

Sehnsuchtsort
Morgenspaziergang mit dem Hund durch den Olivenhain, bevor es zu warm wird-danach Abkühlen im Pool. Nach und nach wird der Rest der Familie vom Lachen und Planschgeräuschen rausgelockt. Schließlich meldet sich der Hunger und wir gehen rein. In der Küche duftet es schon nach frisch aus dem Garten geernteten Tomaten mit Rosmarin und Salbei, im hausgemachten Olivenöl gedünstet, so kann ein Tag beginnen. Der Familienrat beschließt den restlichen Tag: noch eine Runde in den Pool, dann Siesta im kühlen Haus, und dann viel später ganz gemütlich fertig machen für einen Ausflug in Lucca, San Gimignano oder Pisa. Alles gut erreichbar. Wir lassen in diesen Tagen das Handy aus und genießen die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe. Was für eine herrliche Landschaft, was für bezaubernde Menschen, von denen ich gerne lernen möchte mit mehr Gelassenheit zu leben.
Wir hatten wundervolle Tage zum Faulenzen und Ausruhen, intensive Familienzeit zum Spielen und Toben, inspirierende Städtetrips, und Sonnenuntergang am Strand bei Pisa.
Das Haus ist so bezaubernd und originell wir haben uns Schock verliebt. Und dann diese märchenhaften Olivenhaine rund ums Haus...
Die Abreise fiel uns sehr schwer!
Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder!!

Wir haben uns als Familie (2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder) sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter und auch die Nachbarn waren sehr gastfreundlich. Der große Garten und der Pool laden zum Verweilen ein. Unsere Vermieter haben uns mit Früchten und Gemüse aus ihrem Garten versorgt. Es war eine sehr schöne Zeit und uns hat es sehr gut gefallen! Vielen Dank.
