The 5-star house is located in the Baltic resort of Karlshagen on the dune pine forest about 300m from the beach on the sunny island of Usedom, which stretches over 40 kilometres from Ahlbeck to Peenemünde. It is also called the Sylt of the East. Directly from the thatched house you can take long and relaxing walks or bike tours along the beach. In the seaside resort you will find all the shopping facilities you need: Aldi, Netto, Edeka, pharmacy, doctors, bakeries, cafés and restaurants

Take the A11 and A20 motorways to the Gützkow exit, then via Wolgast to the island of Usedom via the B111, after passing through Bannemin turn left in the direction of Trassenheide/Karlshagen/Peenemünde
Arrival by train
Take the DB to either Züssow or Stralsund. There you change to the Usedomer Bäderbahn (UBB), which will take you to the island of Usedom via Wolgast. (Change trains in Zinnowitz in the direction of Karlshagen)

Thank you for a wonderful holiday
unfortunately, the house we had booked in the past from the Wichmann family was already occupied, so we switched to their second house in Karlshagen for this holiday. This time, too, our expectations with regard to the promising property description were met in full. In addition, there was an unusual amount of snow on Usedom during our holiday and it was also very cold. The snow was knee-deep in places, the Baltic Sea on the coast was frozen almost to the horizon, and there were even a few cross-country skiers on the beach. Only the good underfloor heating in the house provided warmth, but the fireplace, sauna and outdoor whirlpool naturally sweetened the icy days. In addition, there is the very nice on-site support by Mr. Fritsche, who is really very helpful and will certainly be happy to tell you something about his motorbike race track in Peenemünde. We can really recommend the two domiciles of the Wichmann family in Karlshagen, and we will certainly come back soon. Thank you Wichmann family for a wonderful holiday in your house in Karlshagen.

A vacation as desired! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
From the first day, we were truly on vacation! The house is very beautiful, well laid out, and tastefully decorated. Nothing is missing. Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The location is great. The beach is only a few minutes' walk away and not overcrowded. The residential area is very pleasant and quiet. In our 2 weeks of vacation, we only went to a restaurant once. That was at the MS Libelle in Zinnowitz after a long, beautiful beach walk from Karlshagen to Zinnowitz. The food there was very delicious. The restaurant was highly frequented. Otherwise, it was simply too beautiful to cook in the vacation home and enjoy the ambiance. From the kitchen, you have everything in view: pool, garden, living room, and the pathways to the table, whether inside or outside, are very short. Our 3 children also enjoyed it. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Beach, mini-golf, playground, convenience store, etc. The house's own wagon was constantly in use. The children were allowed to set off on their own, as the area seemed trustworthy to us. Especially the older kids liked the cool skate park around the corner. The landlord of the house had informed us comprehensively in advance, and the personal contact was very pleasant. On site, we were wonderfully taken care of by the caretaker, who also looked after the garden, pool, etc. He has always taken care of the place and cleaned it (when we were away). He also informed us about events and was always available for us. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of and can absolutely recommend this vacation.

Beautiful vacation by the sea!
We spent marvelous vacation days in this super cool holiday home on the island of Usedom. The property is beautifully landscaped, and the garden is very large and modern. Outside, there is a fantastic heated hot tub that we used extensively. An absolute highlight was enjoying it at 37 degrees water temperature in the early morning or in the evening with a glass of wine. The house was very clean, and we felt like we had arrived in a holiday paradise. The house is very luxurious and stylishly furnished. Everything is new and of high quality. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house, with its almost 130 square meters, is very spacious. The path to the dream beach is quickly reached thanks to the in-house wagon and a 5-minute walk. Restaurants, supermarkets, beach promenade, and more are within immediate reach. Many thanks for the beautiful weather and the great relaxation factor. We were not here for the last time.

Excellent luxury accommodation on Usedom by the beach!
We are very discerning guests and have stayed in many holiday homes (even in supposed 5-star houses), but this beautiful house in Karlshagen has overshadowed everything else so far and is certainly worth its 5 stars. It was a dream to spend a well-deserved holiday here. The entire house is very spacious and furnished with a lot of attention to detail. It is one of the most beautiful houses in the residential area and convinced us 100% with its entire equipment. The furnishings are not off the shelf, but very special and cozy, exactly as you would wish for in a vacation. The pool and sauna add to this relaxation effect once again. The garden is very large and the entire facility is fantastic. We thank you for the opportunity to be able to vacation here and will definitely come back.

The right place for the dream vacation in Karlshagen
This is a very beautiful holiday home, tastefully and practically furnished. With sauna, whirlpool, and well-maintained outdoor areas, the holiday here is perfect in any weather. The support from the landlord Mr. W. and the on-site support from the caretaker Mr. F. complete the 5-star level. Lovely holiday home, very clean, beautifully decorated, perfect!
The holiday home left nothing to be desired for all of us. The good weather, of course, contributed to this. The house is very tastefully and elegantly furnished. Everything you need and a little more is really there. The highlight is the heated whirlpool. We ended every evening there. The excellent service is, of course, also part of the perfect house. Both the landlord, Mr. Wichmann, and the caretaker, Mr. Fritsche, were always helpful and extremely friendly. We were guests with 3 couples and felt comfortable from the very first moment.

Despite the very quiet offseason, we had a wonderful and relaxing family vacation in your holiday home. With great attention to detail, it is decorated very harmoniously and of high quality. The heated outdoor hot tub and sauna were fantastic in the sub-zero temperatures. The beach is just a few minutes away on foot, and there is a playground and skate park along the way. This holiday home allows you to combine luxury and family vacation! Many thanks also to Mr. Fritsche, the local contact person. He takes care of the guests very lovingly. Simply wonderful

Simply "in a class of its own"
We rented this beautiful house for 6 days shortly after the New Year in a small group of friends (3 couples and a toddler). The communication with the owner beforehand was smooth and very nice, even last-minute inquiries regarding child equipment were always answered promptly. The house is located in a quiet area in a newly built and chic holiday home development, only a 4-minute walk from the beach. The outdoor area with pool is very nicely designed and tidy, the house really beautifully clean and superbly equipped. The caretaker Mr. Scheiba helped us with advice and action. In the vicinity, there are plenty of shopping options, and the beach is just around the corner. In the cold season, using the sauna followed by cooling off in the snow (if available) and a final acclimatization in the hot tub is also recommended - we enjoyed it very much! A highly recommendable holiday house all around - we will come back!

This object is in a class of its own!
You can really only congratulate you on the property, the location, condition, and facilities are excellent. Especially the variety of activities and attention to detail are simply great! The distance to the beach is as stated and not worth mentioning in terms of length. In addition, there is a beach wagon in the utility room, so you don't have to carry things yourself (one of the details mentioned that catch your eye). The beach of Karlshagen is very clean, spacious, and has very fine sand. The house offers countless opportunities to keep oneself busy (even in not so great weather). Whether it's sports and games on the large lawn, sunbathing in the beach chair on the terrace, relaxing in the sauna and whirlpool, or socializing in the living-dining kitchen. The care and maintenance of the property are excellent. We will be back! :-) Many thanks, also to Mr. Scheiba for the perfect support.

Super with whipped cream on top
We like to travel and at least once a year we go to the Baltic Sea. Therefore, we have already visited many accommodations. This cottage surpasses all previous accommodations. Absolutely dream house and very stylishly furnished. We didn't miss anything. The care by Mr. Scheiba was completely satisfactory. He was always there for all concerns, never intrusive, and therefore deserves great praise. We would love to come back and then we will also use the sauna. Due to the super sunny weather, we didn't get to do so and spent most of the time at the Baltic Sea beach or in the whirlpool. ;-)

Sauna, whirlpool, washing machine, dryer, electric grill, etc. Everything is very high-quality and tastefully decorated. The icing on the cake at the holiday home is the great care by Mr. Scheiba, the good soul of the property, whom you actually never see except when you need him, then he is there in 5 minutes and takes really loving care of everything. . just as simple as it should be and very pleasant and human, especially in dealing with our little son Anton. We can only recommend the house.

Dear friends of the Baltic Sea we ourselves are enthusiastic Baltic Sea fans and attach great importance to lovingly and above-average equipped holiday homes. It is very important to us that you can spend your holidays as pleasantly as possible in our 5-star houses. We believe that in this day and age, relaxation and wellness are simply a part of a holiday, and so we have installed saunas and permanently heated outdoor Jacuzzis in our houses in the midst of dreamlike surroundings. This is an absolute dream, especially in the winter months, and brings you great added value in terms of relaxation!
