Description

Two-room apartment with small private terrace and direct access to the large panoramic sun terrace on the slope:

Beautiful two-room holiday apartment with separate bedroom, living/dining room, small kitchen, shower bathroom, and shared use of the sun terrace, in a wonderful south-facing hillside location with panoramic mountain views over Mittenwald and the Isar Valley. Best starting point for excursions, wonderful hikes, swimming fun in one of the many crystal-clear mountain lakes within walking distance, as well as freeriding in the Dammkar in winter, skiing & snowboarding on the Kranzberg, or cross-country skiing & skating on the perfectly groomed trails nearby.

Haus Lindenruh offers two adjacent, fully equipped holiday apartments (two-room apartment & studio) for 2 people each, in a beautiful south-facing location with incomparable mountain panorama. Best starting point for hikes and all kinds of leisure activities in magnificent nature. All Upper Bavarian sights are within easy reach. Hiking trails, a nostalgic chairlift to the Hoher Kranzberg, panoramic restaurants, alpine huts, and especially wonderful viewpoints and rest areas are within walking distance directly from the house. The apartments offer a separate bedroom (a sleeping alcove in the studio), living/dining area, each with a shower bath and a separate kitchen, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, as well as a magnificent view of Mittenwald, located about 100 meters below, the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains. Both holiday apartments are on the ground floor with their own exit to the large sun panorama terrace on the slope. A storage room for bicycles & skis is available. Also garden furniture for outdoor dining or sunbathing right by the house.

Active relaxation with a view & heart

For 13 days, we visited Mittenwald in September/October 2021 and felt very welcome with the Müller family. Our vacation, which was actually planned for spring 2020, could finally take place, and the anticipation was rewarded. Thank you very much for the uncomplicated and generous possibility of (even double) free rescheduling due to lockdown conditions – other providers could learn a lot from this. The apartment is well-equipped, so nothing is lacking, and one can spend relaxing days in a truly beautiful place and surroundings. House Lindenruh stands out especially with its great location and its really magnificent view of the Karwendel Mountains and the town of Mittenwald. The personal advice and warmth from Mrs. Müller (Junior & Senior) are the icing on the cake. We have received very good recommendations – whether restaurants or hiking/excursion destinations – and have always looked forward to a little chat at the kitchen window. We would love to come back.

Nine days in beautiful Mittenwald

We were in beautiful Mittenwald with our dog for 9 days in July. Our host mother, Mrs. Müller, was a super lovely and great conversation partner. She is very fond of animals and nature-oriented. She gave us many tips for excursions in the area and a lot of educational information about Mittenwald. The apartment was very nice; we slept really well there. From our terrace, we had a fantastic view of the beautiful Karwendel. Great for unwinding and relaxing. The surrounding lakes, many of which we really liked. A paradise for dogs and people. The place is also a wonderful experience. A big and heartfelt thank you to the Müller family, wishing them only the very best and above all, good health.

A few beautiful days

Hello,
we were in the beautiful house Lindenruh for a week in February/March 2019. It is very cozy, quiet, and the view from the terrace is simply stunning. Unfortunately, it is not properly visible in the pictures. Ideal for dog owners, as there is a forest path right behind the house, and the terrace can be locked. From the house, you can do everything from simple walks to challenging hikes. There are 60 km of cleared winter hiking trails, great. You can also explore Mittenwald comfortably on foot from the house. The icing on the cake is Mrs. Müller, simply lovable. We will definitely come back.

A wonderful week

Cozy holiday apartment, great view

We were guests at the Müller family in Mittenwald for 1 week in February. We can only say it is a cozy vacation apartment with a great view. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes on foot to reach the village where the shops, several restaurants, and also the bakery are located, depending on how fit you are. You can eat very well and relatively affordably in all the restaurants. Mrs. Müller and her daughter are truly helpful and nice people from whom you can get excursion tips or restaurant recommendations at any time.
We would love to come back.

Vacation with the best view of the Karwendel

Beautiful short vacation with a great mountain panorama!

Dear Müller family, thank you very much for allowing us this wonderful short vacation in your beautiful holiday apartment with its incomparable mountain panorama. We had great weather. Plenty of snow for skiing, cross-country skiing, and hiking (the latter directly from the house). And a really good time. Simply beautiful. The apartment is supposed to be renovated in March 2017.
