in the heart of Zingst you live in a comfortable and lovingly furnished holiday home in an individual style, on 90 sqm in a quiet, leafy location & yet close to the beach and town centre. The property is fenced in so that the kids/dogs can't go off on their own.
Our 'Dat Kavelhus' presents itself in the classic dove-blue-white garb.
On the ground floor you will find a spacious dining area with a fitted kitchen that fulfils all your wishes.
In the cosily furnished living room with Swedish stove, there is a flat-screen TV, radio and DVD player with films for children and adults. WIFI and telephone are a free service that goes without saying.
The 40 sqm south-facing terrace is equipped with teak garden furniture and sun loungers. Here you can relax and unwind.
There is also a utility room with washer-dryer and a bathroom with shower and toilet on the ground floor
On the first floor you will find 2 exclusive bedrooms, a helmsman's berth and a toilet.
Equipped with high-quality wellness mattresses, top beds suitable for allergy sufferers and a spacious bathroom with bathtub, shower and WC
there is room for 2 more people in the 3rd bedroom, Möwennest, in the attic.
Of course, there is a flat-screen TV with DVD in every bedroom.

Rostock (Warnemünde, harbour with cruise ships, ferry to Denmark, old town, Karl's farm) and Stralsund (maritime museum, Ozeaneum, huge Hansedom fun pool) as well as Rügen can be reached quickly by car within an hour. Hiddensee, Barth and Born can be visited by boat from Zingst harbour. The Darßer Ort lighthouse is 11 km away from Prerow by horse-drawn carriage, bicycle or on foot. A new climbing forest is located in Born, about 20 minutes away by car.
Zingst is located on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula, in the middle of the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschft nature reserve. The former fishing village has developed into a popular Baltic Sea spa, but has managed to retain its charm. The unique natural landscape with its fauna and flora is breathtaking and can be explored by bicycle or on foot along kilometres of well-maintained paths.
A special kind of spectacle is offered every autumn from September to November, when tens of thousands of cranes visit the peninsula as a resting place on their flight south. During a boat trip on the Bodden, the evening flight of the cranes can be observed particularly well. The annual New Year's Eve party at the pier is legendary and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Relaxing days in Zingst
Dear landlord,
we had a sunny and relaxing short break in your beautiful holiday home. A house with a special maritime flair. Nothing was missing in the kitchen. Arrive and feel good! The whole house exudes coziness. The short distances to the beach and to the city (Strandstaße) were very advantageous. Conclusion: We will definitely come back!

Life can't get any better
We, 2 adults, had the great fortune to spend the winter half of 2018/19 in Zingst in this beautiful house. The house is absolutely perfectly furnished and equipped, spotlessly clean, lovingly decorated and located in close proximity to both the beach and the center of Zingst. In short, it doesn't get any better than this.
The landlords were always available to us, always provided advice when we had questions, immediately provided assistance when there were problems, and even surprised us with delicious homemade cookies during Advent.
And Fischland-Darß-Zingst is a dream, especially in the winter half of the year when it's not so crowded.
In two or three years, we have decided that we would like to spend the winter here in this house again.
Until then, a big thank you to the landlords.

Maritime Exclusive House
The holiday home has a beautiful and quiet location. The furnishings have a lot of attention to detail. You arrive and immediately feel at home. During the Christmas season, it is even decorated very Christmassy and nothing is missing in the house. We have never seen such a perfect house and didn't want to leave. The fireplace invites you to relax. Unfortunately we couldn't use the terrace but we'll be back when it's nicer. Absolutely recommendable!!!!! Thank you very much again.
