Description
Numerous improvements have already been made: in October 2024, the dormer was renewed and the ground floor was completely renovated in the spring of 2025. All photos now show the new result.
Just take a time-out and relax in our cozy summer house in Egmond aan Zee! Close to the dunes and the beach, who wouldn't want that. In every season it is beautiful here and it is always cozy in the charming village center. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious living room with a sitting area, dining area, a TV, and WIFI. In the cupboard, you will find games and books in various languages. In the open kitchen, you will find an induction cooker, combination microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, and Dolce Gusto coffee maker. Additionally, there are sufficient pans, cutlery, crockery, and other cooking utensils available. We also offer basic products like salt, pepper, and oil, tea, coffee, and sugar, and some cleaning products. In the new, fine, and spacious bathroom, you will find the rain shower, the washbasin, and the toilet. Here, you also find basic products like shampoo and shower gel, and there is a hairdryer.
On the first floor is a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a wooden crib with a real mattress for the very little ones.
Bed linen, towels, and tea towels are ready for you. Beach towels are not included. Blackout curtains hang in front of the sun-blocking windows of the dormer.

Egmond aan Zee is located directly by the sea. It is approximately 35 kilometers from Amsterdam and 10 kilometers from Alkmaar. Both cities are worth a visit. In the supplementary information, you will find tips about the area.
The old village center of Egmond, with its small typical Dutch houses, is very cozy with many restaurants, terraces, and nice shops. To the south and north, Egmond aan Zee borders the entrance to the North Holland Dune Reserve. Here, many coastal animals and birds live. On foot, on horseback, or by bike, there are numerous walks to take.

In the kitchen you will also find sugar, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Dishwashing liquid is also available, and there are some basic cleaning supplies. For more information about what is in the kitchen, take a look at the photos.
In the bathroom, you will find shower gel, shampoo, cotton pads, and cotton swabs, and a hairdryer.
On the upper floor, you will find a washing machine. Please bring your own laundry detergent. Please return clean and dry to the cabinets.
The keys to the cottage can be put back in the safe next to the front door.
WHERE DOES THE WASTE GO?
Regular household waste can be placed on the terrace in a well-tied garbage bag. Plastic waste can also be left in a separate garbage bag and we will dispose of it for you. Waste containers for paper and glass are located next to the bus stop at Hotel Zuiderduin. We ask you to dispose of it yourself.

Relaxing vacation days
We really had relaxing days there! It is a beautiful apartment. Very lovingly furnished, with a lot of style. And all possible things that one really needs were absolutely considered. Additionally, everything is really very neatly arranged. And there is absolutely no need for further inquiries about missing items. The contact with the landlords was also simply smooth and very, very friendly. We would love to book the apartment again. And it is highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a nice break.

Beautiful holiday cottage by the sea
We spent a whole month in the holiday home C Lane. Everything is on-site for self-catering. We were able to cook great dishes, even baking bread in the new kitchen oven.
Egmond is a great place for a vacation, and the beach is 500 meters away and beautiful.
The dune entrance is 200 meters away, and the town center with a small supermarket is also reachable in 10 minutes on foot.
We spent the vacation with a child, and everything was taken care of. The landlords are very friendly and gladly fulfilled every expressed need. We would love to come back; this is a wonderful summer house. See you!

Wonderful holiday home in Egmond aan Zee
We - a couple with an 8-year-old daughter - have been guests at Maria's and Sebastiaan's vacation house for the second time and were again enthusiastic! Perfect location in Egmond aan Zee, close to the beach and the village with all shopping options, quietly situated, good parking possibility usually directly in front of the door. The little house itself has a lovely sun terrace in front of the entrance, downstairs a tastefully furnished and cozy living/dining area, a new kitchenette with complete equipment, a new bathroom with a large shower, and upstairs a passage room with a pull-out children's bed and a bedroom with a large, comfortable double bed as well as a baby bed. Perfect for couples or families with 1-2 children for a wonderful holiday in beautiful North Holland! Very nice and warm landlords - thank you very much, we would love to come back!

Nice summer cottage
From Almere, it's not far to Egmond aan Zee, but it still feels like you've gone completely away. Maria and her partner have beautifully decorated the cottage and recently renovated everything. That was clearly done with love. We felt very comfortable here and would like to come again.
