The Finnhütte is located approx. 700m from the beach, the Bernsteintherme spa and the town centre. A playground (on the campsite) can be reached in a few minutes. The nearest supermarket is approx. 500m away, other shopping facilities can be found in the village centre. The train station is about 10-15 minutes' walk away (see map below).

Paid dearly!
We had booked the Amber Hut from 26th August to 3rd September 2017 and were looking forward to a nice holiday. Upon arrival, we were already disappointed. With a 50 Euro cleaning fee, I expect something different! There was no handover and we found out that small spoons were not complete and a kettle was missing. The garbage bin was too small and already full from the previous guests. We had two small children with us and had to store the diapers in between. The caretaker wanted to come to us the next day between 9 and 10, and we assumed that everything would be discussed and handed over. After waiting in vain, I called and he said he couldn't make it but would come on Monday. He arrived shortly after 8 o'clock and only wanted to collect the 50 euros for final cleaning. I reacted somewhat impatiently and found it very presumptuous to just collect without much explanation and nothing else. At least he then brought a kettle. He still wanted to bring the missing small spoons, but this did not happen by the time of our departure. We left one day earlier very disappointed.
