The holiday home on the edge of a village in the Bergisches Land was completely renovated between 2013 and 2016 and extended with a separate sauna house with additional shower and toilet and a veranda with a beautiful view of the large natural garden. A second terrace invites you directly at the house with a garden table for 6 people, barbecue and glazed parapet, which offers a view into the garden. A 3rd sun terrace by the pond with deck chairs and a pavilion by the pond . There are 3 bedrooms in the house - a double bedroom on the ground floor with 180x200 cm bed and 2 cosy attic bedrooms with 2 single beds 90x200 cm each. A bathroom is also in the house with a large floor-deep shower. In the kitchen you will find a dishwasher, a 4-zone induction hob (electric cooking as with gas), coffee maker, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery.... Free W-LAN is available in the house with very good reception in the living room. Attached to the living room is the small, red conservatory with sofas, a flat screen TV, a music system, books and a game stool ..
In addition, the 2nd large, bright conservatory offers a nice seating area for reading, telling stories, drinking coffee ... Here you live secluded in the green with the possibility to hike from the house, to go out for dinner nearby or to use the forest swimming pool in summer. Shopping facilities are only 3 minutes away by car in nearby Dabringhausen. For cultural excursions, Cologne and Düsseldorf are only 30 and 40 minutes away by car.

Beautiful location in the Bergisches Land not far from Cologne and Düsseldorf. On the edge of the forest with a large sunny garden, 3 terraces, separate sauna house. Hiking and mountain bike tours with more or less gradients can be started from the house. Around the Dhünntalsperre, through the Eifgental along the Jakobsweg or via Maria in der Aue to Altenberg. It is only a 5-minute walk to the forest swimming pool (open during the summer holidays in NRW) or the Coenenmühle pancake house. In the afternoon you can relax in the sauna, use the sun terraces, have a barbecue in a relaxed atmosphere ...

Here is the translation to English: If you have to cancel your booking and we are able to rent out the cancelled date again, we will only charge €20. Otherwise, the following conditions apply: For cancellations up to 4 weeks before arrival, the €200 deposit will be retained by us as a cancellation fee. From the 27th day until the end of the 2nd calendar day before the start of the rental period, 70% of the total price (excluding the security deposit) will be charged; after the end of the 2nd calendar day before the start of the rental period, 80% of the total price (excluding the security deposit) will be charged.

A beautiful time out very close to Cologne
Friendly, individual cottage with great sauna, garden close to nature, beautiful hikes/bike tours from the front door...
Although in the middle of a densely built-up village, it is nice to be alone or with the squirrels, birds..

Cosy cottage with enchanted garden in the middle of nature
The 2 days we spent there with a small group of men were not nearly enough to use all the great possibilities of this house. So the sauna with its own terrace facing the garden remained unused, also the kitchen including a small oven. It was a bit too cold at the end of October for the beautiful large terrace with barbecue, also for the many versatile seating options in the garden, which borders directly on the forest.
The tiled stove is easy to use and heats the whole house with free wood, but there are also electric heaters (the electricity costs extra). Wifi worked great
The landlord is friendly and professional, thank you especially for the tip with the bird house and for the provided filling. Two squirrels and "the whole flock of birds" from crested tit to nuthatch to woodpecker and jay came to visit - very nice.
I am already thinking about who to come back with.

Very nice holiday home in a quiet location
Lovingly renovated and tastefully furnished, spacious house (many cozy seating options both inside and in the garden) is located directly by the forest and offers heavenly tranquility. Exactly what a vacation guest seeking relaxation needs. Although we did not have the best weather, it was a beautiful short vacation and we can only recommend the vacation home!

Your holiday home meets all wishes, a very nicely furnished accommodation with everything you need. A great natural garden!!!
The sauna is for relaxation and is very nicely done, especially the beautiful view of the greenery. Just great. On your terrace, we could observe the animals as they raided the birdhouse. The fireplace also made it cozy and warm in the evenings. A glass of wine at the pond with the stream topped it all off. Thank you for your kind welcome and your uncomplicated nature. Thanks also to your cleaning fairy, who contributed to a nice vacation. We'll see you again soon.
