Close to the Baltic Sea resorts, Dahme 3 km (spa for cure holidays and treatments perfectly suitable), Kellenhusen 7 km and Grömitz 13 km, you will find the house "Avalon" with enchanting vintage holiday flats in a quiet side street. Directly opposite is a doctor's surgery
and a Greek restaurant. Grube is a picturesque, small, old village with about 1000 inhabitants. If you don't want to go to the busy seaside resorts, this is the right place for you. In the village centre you will find all the necessary shops and facilities such as Aldi, Edeka, snack bar,
Hairdresser, bank, small museum, car repair shop, post office, restaurants, doctors, pharmacy There is a glider airfield on the outskirts of the village which offers sightseeing flights. This is a special experience, especially in May, when the rape blossoms, but gliding over the beautiful landscape in summer is also very attractive. The Rosenfeld sandy beach belongs to Grube and is free of charge. This dune beach can be reached quickly in about 5 km
The Baltic Sea spa resort of Dahme is about 3.5 km away and, with its lively promenade, offers variety for young and old.
Many of our guests use the cheaper and quieter low season simply to enjoy the good air.
The trend to go on long bike tours to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and new villages is becoming more and more popular. You simply combine excursion enjoyment with sporting activity and discover picturesque places in the process.
Since Grube is very centrally located, many excursion destinations and sights can be reached quickly from here
such as the towns of Plön and Eutin with their lake and castle, the island of Fehmarn, many well-known Baltic Sea resorts such as Grömitz and Kellenhusen, Lübeck with its beautiful old town and Holsten Gate, and much, much more.

Klein und gemütlich
Ich habe die Wohnung als Ausgangspunkt für meine Urlaubsunternehmungen genutzt, da von hier aus alle Ausflugsziele in verhältnismäßig kurzer Zeit zu erreichen sind. Sie ist klein und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, gemütlich und mit einem Hauch von Nostalgie. Überall in Haus und Garten ist die Liebe zum Detail spürbar und vor allem ein Händchen für oftmals auch ungewöhnliche, charmante Dekorationen. Der Garten ist mit Sicherheit eine echte Attraktion, weil er den gepflegten Hausgarten mit einem doch verhältnismäßig großen Park verbindet, der wie "verwunschen" wirkt. Fazit ist: Wer eine ruhige und gepflegte Unterkunft sucht, die von der Norm abweicht und dabei nicht unbedingt in Strandnähe liegen muß, der findet hier sein Urlaubsdomizil, egal, für welche Wohnungsgröße er sich entscheidet. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt!!
Es gibt im Ort einen Supermarkt und einen Discounter, die von der Ferienwohnung aus in wenigen Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder dem Auto zu erreichen sind sowie auch einige Restaurants. Bis zum Strand nach Dahme sind es ca. 3 km, wo man eine schöne Strandpromenade mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet und einen sauberen, gepflegten Strand.
