Holiday in the Valley of Lamentations

The Eckardt family is simply great, you feel completely comfortable, simply put, like at home but in unfamiliar beds. Our motorcycle vacation in the region is highly recommended, especially since we were kindly allowed to park the bikes safely in a garage. The accommodation exceeds even the posted pictures. All in all, if we were to head towards the Rhine again, we know where we would stay.

fabulous stay in the Valley of Misery

We spent four wonderful days in a super beautiful holiday apartment. The apartment is very lovingly and tastefully furnished, there is a lot of space in the individual rooms and very clean, we got the bread rolls delivered directly to the front door of the apartment and the landlords were very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend it with a clear conscience.

a fantastic short trip

We were three of us... three days in the vacation rental... which leaves nothing to be desired... everything is there, plus it is beautifully furnished, you feel at home upon arrival... the landlords are also very warm and you are greeted very nicely, and if you have any questions, they are always there :) a very great place to stay :) we will come back ;)

New Year's Eve 2018

The vacation rental can only be highly recommended to men and women. The feeling of well-being started with the booking and only ended when we left the vacation rental. We have never encountered such warm and accommodating landlords. The equipment of the vacation rental is perfect, sauna and fitness room very demanding. Even the neighbors set off their fireworks within sight of our balcony. Thanks to the Eckhardt family and neighbors.

We were very warmly and courteously welcomed by the Eckhard family during our entire stay. Reserved, but always present and competent when it came to answering questions and tips for the upcoming excursions in the area. The price-performance ratio of this apartment is unbeatable! The furnishings are excellent and correspond to the internet presentation in all points. The classification as a 5-star apartment is absolutely appropriate. Winter hiking weekend in the Jammertal

Top equipped holiday apartment directly at the picturesque Jammertal with its deep gorges and numerous mills. Thanks to strong radiators, fireplace, sauna, and bathtub, it's a cozy place even in icy winter weather. We didn't miss anything, and we will gladly come back. Accommodation to feel comfortable

The holiday apartment is very bright and also spacious, fully equipped, and just perfect for feeling good. There is a balcony for breakfast in the sun and another one for watching the sunset - very charming. The landlords are extremely pleasant and have contributed to a very successful stay with their friendly manner. A warm thank you to them at this point. The region is very quiet and offers numerous excursion possibilities, for example, by bike. There are also swimming options available, as well as the opportunity to visit smaller towns like Limburg, Bad Ems, or some well-known places along the Rhine. We are happy to recommend this accommodation and will return there ourselves.

We spent 4 days in a top modern and tastefully equipped holiday apartment where nothing was missing for self-catering. The pictures on the internet are totally identical. It felt like home, cozy and stylishly furnished, and above all very, very clean! The landlords are very accommodating and super nice. It was 4 great days, quiet location, a great covered balcony invites you to relax. Price-performance simply great! Excursion options are easily accessible by car. We will come back and recommend it to others.

At the vacation rental "Zum Jammertal," there was nothing to complain about!

Wonderful large holiday apartment with two balconies, one overlooking the village and one with a view of the meadows, all very well equipped.

Supermarkets a few kilometers away.
Excursions to the Lahn Valley and Limburg highly recommended.
Good hiking opportunities, especially in the Jammertal (Valley of Lamentation).

Absolutely recommendable

Very clean, beautiful, and cozy apartment with complete equipment. The landlords are very nice and helpful. The apartment is very conveniently located for many excursions along the Rhine and Lahn rivers, and there are plenty of hiking trails around Kördorf.

Finally, I found the time.
Landlord: The Eckhardt family is really nice and super helpful. You could call for help at any time.
Apartment: Very clean, everything available, fireplace wood flat rate. Two parent rooms, one room with two single beds. A large bathroom with bathtub and shower, and a guest toilet. Kitchen fully stocked, you just need to bring ingredients for cooking.
Travel information is available for free. All totally modern, no fake photos and no photoshopping!!
Location: quiet and elevated, nearest supermarket (Rewe and Lidl) about 5 km away (open until 10 pm).
Conclusion: We were there with 3 young couples, had a great weekend and would do it again anytime, really, top top top!!

Comfortable, spacious, and clean!!!

We encountered very friendly and helpful hosts who live on the ground floor. The apartment has everything you need. When we asked about a bakery nearby, which there isn't, the landlord immediately offered to get us bread rolls.
The view of the surrounding area was great. In the morning, mist hovered over the fields and created an incredible atmosphere.
There are 3 double rooms, one with an additional crib, the second with an additional sofa bed available. All rooms are sufficiently large. The bathroom is also very spacious. There is an additional toilet. We enjoyed the afternoon sun on the living room balcony.

Kördorf is a quiet place in the Taunus region, from which you can go on many hikes in good weather and take trips to Limburg or Koblenz in bad weather. A special feature in the apartment is the lovingly arranged shelf with a lot of useful information material about excursions in the area, which can outshine some tourist information offices. The equipment of the holiday apartment leaves nothing to be desired. Everything you need for a self-catering holiday is available and in very good condition. Shopping facilities are easily accessible by car and if you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. All in all, a vacation in a very cozy yet modern holiday apartment.
