Our newly renovated holiday home is located on the outskirts of the village with a wonderful distant view. If you like to be woken up by birdsong and enjoy the company of squirrels and co., you have come to the right place. Winden was first mentioned in a document in 1250 by Archbishop Arnold of Trier, after which he had the church at Winden transferred to the Arnstein monastery by Countess Mechthild of Sayn.
The village is situated in the middle of a varied hiking and mountain biking area in the Westerwald, bordering the Taunus. Experience the distant view far into the Taunus, towards the Feldberg. There are several hiking and mountain bike trails directly around the house, which branch out into various valleys. Horses, sheep, goats and cows live in the meadows and pastures around the village. There is a small idyllic natural lake in the nearby village of Holzappel. The detached holiday home is furnished to a high standard with parquet flooring and a pellet stove. The house is ideally suited for families with 2 children, but also for couples who want to enjoy quiet days. With its 2 bedrooms and a large living-dining room, there is enough space for up to 4 people. It is nice to sit in the garden or conservatory in the evening and enjoy the sunset. You can use the garden to linger, barbecue, sunbathe and play. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, coffee machine, refrigerator and kettle. For summer barbecue evenings there is a gas barbecue in the garden. There is a hoover and everything else you need. Please bring your own bed linen and towels. There is also an information folder about various activities and restaurants in the vicinity. Arrival is possible from , departure until. Hiking holiday: Here in the Westerwald and Taunus there are very different hiking routes: from rather easy routes to strenuous tours. The hiking trails are signposted and lead through forests, meadows and pastures, where you can enjoy a magnificent view. Here you are still hiking away from the main roads in a quiet and relaxing landscape. Just enjoy the wonderful area. We are also happy to give you tips for various day hikes with places to stop for refreshments. Various hiking maps are available in the flat. Unfortunately, pets cannot be brought along

So beautiful
This holiday home in the area is just right for anyone who enjoys nature and tranquility.
Hiking trails or shorter walks are possible directly from the house. Further exploration opportunities by car, e.g., to Nassau in just a few minutes. (The café Lieblingsstück is really recommended there.)
What is particularly special for us is the feel-good character of the house. The conservatory and the garden behind it offer wonderful opportunities for relaxed idleness in any weather with a beautiful view. Equipped with everything you need and very nice, uncomplicated contact with the landlord, even if you have a spontaneous question.
We really enjoyed the quiet, beautiful days and have already recommended the holiday home to acquaintances. Thank you once again for a relaxing short vacation,

Wonderful holiday stay

Thank you again for the wonderful holiday you made possible for us in your house.
We felt very comfortable here for almost three weeks
Everything was just right. From the weather to the wonderful view
Quietly situated with a beautiful view into the valley from the veranda
The terrace and the small garden invite you to relax
There is a lot to discover and hike in the surrounding area
We can recommend the house without reservation
The beds were a bit too hard for us and the pillows too voluminous. But I'm sure everyone feels differently about that.
