Our "Schmetterling" holiday home, which has been awarded three stars by the DTV, is located in the Quetzin district, directly opposite the small cabbage island on the north-western shore of Lake Plauer See. The holiday home offers space for 4+2 people. Families with small and big children are in good hands here. There are no cars around the holiday home.

Only 200 m from the inviting sandy bathing beach "Quetzin", this is also ideally suited for small children, a playground, a beach volleyball field as well as a football pitch offer plenty of variety.
Free use of rowing boat during your stay
With us, big and small nature lovers will really go into raptures. That's a promise! The climatic health resort "Plau am See" is only 4 km away. Here you will find cosy restaurants, cafes and a beautiful medieval old town. A variety of shops and the promenade along the lake and Elde invite you to stroll and linger.
The cities of Rostock and Schwerin can be reached in about 45 minutes. And several Baltic Sea beach resorts can also be explored on a day trip. Various leisure facilities are located close to the house.

Cancellation terms:
§ 4 Cancellation and Early Termination
• If the tenant cancels (terminates) the contract before the start of the rental period, the following proportional rents are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses:
o Cancellations made up to 3 months before the date of arrival will be charged at 20% of the travel price.
o Cancellations made up to 1 month before the date of arrival will be charged at 40% of the travel price.
o Cancellations made between 1 month and one week before the date of arrival will be charged at 70% of the travel price.
o Cancellations within the last week will be charged at 90% of the travel price.
• We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance
(although the landlord will try to rent out the property otherwise).
If the tenant terminates the stay early, they are still obligated to pay the full rental price. Cancellation or termination must be done in writing only. The relevant date is the date the declaration is received by the landlord. (If you wish to take out travel cancellation insurance, please submit this lease agreement to the insurer).

The holiday home is well equipped for small and large guests.
For babies and toddlers, there is a baby cot with matching blanket as well as a high chair, plastic dishes (plates, cups) and children's cutlery. In the bedroom "Little Fox" (bunk bed) there are some boxes with toys for the children. There are also various children's books for the "good night story". In the bathroom there is a children's toilet seat and a step stool under the sink.
For the older children, we provide various board games, children's/youth books, and badminton/table tennis rackets.
The cottage is situated in private park-like grounds. Here children can play to their heart's content. There is a large sandpit and two table tennis tables in the middle of the grounds. There are no cars around the holiday home!
At the Quetzin bathing beach - approx. 200m from the house - there is a large playground, a
Beach volleyball court and a football/handball pitch. For all those who would like to row out onto the lake, we provide free rowing boats and children's life jackets.

Only 200 metres to the beach, great location and child friendly.

Recommended holiday home in a quiet location
Very beautiful holiday home, furnished with attention to detail, in a quiet location and within walking distance of the beach. Everything you need is available in the house. We enjoyed our holiday with children and dog very much. There are many activities for young and old in the immediate vicinity. The circular bus that leaves nearby takes you to many different attractions. The area is also very nice for cycling. I can really recommend the house!

As we are a large family ourselves, we try to meet the needs of families with our holiday home. In our house there are some toys for children as well as practical things for everyday life. Not far from the holiday home there is a "huge" sandbox and two table tennis tables and lots of adventure.
