The idyllic Horn country house is 80 m² in size and is yours alone. It leaves nothing to be desired with its large living room with terrace access, complete kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, hallway and guest WC. The country house is situated on a plot of approx. 7 ha in the middle of nature. In your direct neighbourhood there is only a horse stable, the manor house of the estate is about 250m away. The country house is in a very exclusive location and is just waiting to give you an unforgettable holiday. The country house is just for you, so you can enjoy an undisturbed, secluded holiday with a large sunny south-west terrace and an indescribable view over the pond and the horse paddocks to the full. The Landhaus Horn is the ideal starting point for undisturbed hikes or bike tours in all directions of Holstein Switzerland.

The cosy and nostalgically furnished country house "Horn" is nestled in the rolling hills of the terminal moraine landscape of Holstein Switzerland. It is located in a real cul-de-sac in Kühren on the Kührener Berg. The starting point is ideally suited for various excursions, bicycle tours or walks
In the immediate vicinity of Kühren are several estates, Gut Helmstorf (2.5 km), Gut Wetterrade (1.5 km) and Gut Mühlenfeld (0.5 km), all within walking distance. Gut Panker with Panker Castle is approx. 8.5 km away, the Hessenstein lookout tower and restaurant are 7.5 km away and the Turmhügelburg Museum and the Ice Age Museum are approx. 4.0 km away
Various beaches in the surrounding area are not far away, so they can be easily reached by bike or car. For water sports enthusiasts, the Hohwacht Bay is the ideal spot, but golfers also get their money's worth with the spacious golf course in Hohwacht. Let your soul dangle with us and feel this beautiful place in nature. Holstein Switzerland is a wonderful cultural region, which is not only captivating because of its varied nature, but also because of the small villages, manor houses and district towns such as Plön and Eutin, which have been preserved in their original state.

Restful vacation, balm for the stress-plagued nerves.
The accommodation is spacious with 80 square meters, there is absolute tranquility through a spacious property, we were visited every day by rabbits, hedgehogs, horses & Co., the rooms were appropriately furnished, (almost) everything was available, except for a missing freezer compartment in the refrigerator, the partly historic furnishings were in accordance with a country house and gave a feeling of well-being. We are already looking forward to 2024 and hope for a reunion and accommodation at Landhaus Horn.

Wonderfully quiet located cottage in the middle of nature.
The cottage is very peaceful. We only heard the birds singing. Within cycling distance of the coast. A good starting point for bike rides. Recommended for nature lovers.

Holstein gem
A wonderful stay in an excellently equipped and incredibly tastefully furnished, quiet accommodation. Perfect starting point for all kinds of cycling tours but you could also just lie in the garden reading in the sun. A real stroke of luck. The only pity was that we couldn't stay longer.

Unrestricted recommendation
We felt very comfortable at Landhaus Horn. A great location, with lots of space, especially on the huge property, and a completely different living feeling compared to a holiday home settlement. We had to get used to the surprisingly remote, secluded location at first, but that only took about 2 days. After that, we didn't want to leave at all. Everything was perfect. And if a little problem did arise, the very friendly host took care of it immediately. I probably shot myself in the foot with this review. Why? If we want to go there again, it could be that because of the significantly increased demand caused by this, it will be more difficult to get into the house ;-) and we will have to book years in advance ;-) . We wish only nice guests at Landhaus Horn!

Oasis of relaxation
What more should I praise? The tranquility/location of the country house? The amenities/furnishings? The very moderate price for this little gem? I am somewhat torn - because with this review it could easily backfire since it might get booked like crazy and I might only manage to get a week with great difficulty - and that with my name. A great vacation home - for me!!!
