The forest house is approx. 240 m² in size and is at your sole disposal. With its large living room with terrace access, fireplace room, complete kitchen with dining table, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 hallways with wardrobes, 2 house entrances, it leaves no holiday wishes unfulfilled. The idyllically situated forest house can only be reached via an enchanted path through a private forest. It lies all alone on a sunny hill, surrounded by the forest, the large aisle to the west bathes the meadow in front of your terrace in a soft evening glow and deer, fox and hare still say good night to each other there. The forest house is situated on an approx. 5 ha property in the middle of nature. The Waldhaus is in a very exclusive location and is just waiting to give you an unforgettable holiday. The Waldhaus is just for you, so you can spend an absolutely undisturbed, secluded holiday on the large sunny south-west terrace in the middle of nature. The Waldhaus is the ideal starting point for wonderful hikes or cycling tours in all directions of Holstein Switzerland.
Unfortunately, the Waldhaus has no internet connection due to its extremely beautiful secluded location, but there is a very good G5 network available!
For real sports cars, there might be ground contact during a dreamy approach to the destination!

Location and surroundings of object
The cosy and rustically furnished forest house is nestled in the rolling hills of the terminal moraine landscape of Holstein Switzerland. It stands in a large forest clearing near Mühlenfeld/Helmstorf on the Kührener Berg. The starting point is ideal for various excursions, bicycle tours or walks.
In the immediate vicinity of the Waldhaus are several estates, Gut Helmstorf (5 km), Gut Wetterrade (3 km) and Gut Mühlenfeld (1.5 km), all within walking distance. Gut Panker with Panker Castle is approx. 9.5 km away, the lookout tower and the Hessenstein restaurant are 9.5 km away and the Turmhügelburg Museum and the Ice Age Museum are approx. 5.0 km away.
Various beaches in the surrounding area are not far away, so they can be easily reached by bike or car. For water sports enthusiasts, the Hohwacht Bay is the ideal spot, but golfers also get their money's worth with the spacious golf course in Hohwacht. Let your soul dangle with us and feel this wonderful place in nature. Holstein Switzerland is a dreamlike cultural region that captivates not only with its varied nature, but also with its small villages, manor houses and district towns such as Plön and Eutin, which have been preserved in their original state.

Dream idyll by the forest
Whoever is looking for a large house in a dream location - has found it with the old forester's house. And the "rustic" path of 600 m through the terrain did not deter us from getting on our racing bikes already at the house and discovering new great tours. And whoever visits Lütjenburg for shopping must take a look into Marc Richter's art gallery. The forester's house is not a normal holiday domicile - no - one occupies a wonderfully restored house, as the two owners have created it for themselves and now also for guests. One would like to stay there for a long time.

Feeling completely comfortable
How wonderfully quiet it is there - as city people, we had to get used to it first.
A very tastefully furnished house with good amenities, even the birthday cake was easy to bake because everything was available.
The house was perfect for 4 adults and three older children. In the evenings, we counted the stars - even the usually media-savvy children didn't miss the WLAN.
Unfortunately, the weather was a bit mixed, but the region offers many entertainment options, we especially found the Gut Panker with its beautiful shops, art, and the Hessenstein observation tower to be cute.
We will be back!

Perfect family vacation - perfect place
We spent wonderful days in the forest house. The location of the house is unique - once you found it in the middle of the forest, it becomes an oasis!
The house is nicely furnished and has everything you need. And also many things that are nice to have, for example children's toys.
You can spend your time there in a very versatile way - half of the day we were on the go in the region and at the beach - otherwise in and around the house. Our three children loved the freedom here and so did we.
Outside making bread on a stick and grilling, inside cozy evenings by the stove. Next year we want to come with a friendly family - the perfect vacation spot, because you can have the hustle and bustle, but also the solitude and tranquility.
