Our holiday apartments are in Hünfelden-Mensfelden, 5 kilometers from Limburg city center, the A3 Limburg Süd exit, and the Limburg Süd ICE train station. The apartments are quietly located at the edge of the fields; you can quickly reach the forest and the Mensfelder Kopf on foot, with a magnificent view over the Limburg Basin. The rural area invites you to hike and cycle in the surroundings or along the Lahn. There are many sights, e.g. the historic old town in Limburg with the famous Limburg Cathedral and Diocesan Museum, or Diez with its beautiful old town and Oranienstein Castle. Wiesbaden and the Rheingau are 30 minutes away by car, where there are many wineries and good German inns. If you are interested in castles and palaces, visit nearby Runkel Castle, Schaumburg Castle, or Braunfels Castle. You will have an unforgettable, beautiful, and relaxing time in the Limburg region.
Hünfelden-Mensfelden is one of seven districts of the municipality of Hünfelden in the Limburg-Weilburg district in Hesse. Mensfelden is the closest to Limburg, which is only km away. Mensfelden is very quietly located, has a beautiful area and a very lovely forest. It is an excellent place for hiking.
