Julianadorp belongs to the municipality of Den Helder and is located directly behind the dunes on the wide long sandy beach of the North Sea. There are all the shops in the center, 1 km away, where there is a central marketplace with a small department store, bank, drug store, cafes, snack and grocery stores (Aldi, Lidl, fish shop) and flower shops. From the nearby port town of Den Helder you can visit the island of Texel. Den Helder has a large covered shopping area, museums, markets and a sea aquarium. Many destinations such as Alkmaar, the historic towns on the IJsselmeer and Amsterdam are easily read the detailed description on our website: Julianadorp is located about 80 km north of the Dutch capital Amsterdam between Alkmaar and Den Helder. The distance to Den Helder is about five km away. In Eastern Julianadorp limit the highway N9 and the parallel North Holland Canal, the west by the North Sea. Everything is OK. We will come again.
We (an elderly couple) spent the last week of April in the house.
It was equipped as described on the internet. So everything you needed was there. The surroundings (garden and storage space for our e-bikes) were also OK.
Our expectations were met and we were very satisfied. We would also like to mention the fair price-performance ratio.
We had to contact the landlord, Mr. van Hijum, by telephone due to a power failure (as it turned out later, caused by an electrical kitchen appliance we had brought with us). After a pleasant conversation, Mr van Hijum organised professional help without any problems and in a very short time, and the damage was repaired immediately. Many thanks again to all involved.
We have booked the house for two more weeks this year.

Relaxing vacation with children and dog
We felt very comfortable from the beginning, nothing was missing in the house. The trampoline was fantastic for the kids. And the adults could relax in the sun on the loungers. With the bicycles, you are quickly at the beach or in the center. We will gladly come back.

It was a completely successful vacation!!!!
Beach, location & house were great!
Especially the trampoline was a highlight for the children. We made day trips from there to Den Helder, Amsterdam, Alkmaar, and Texel.
By car, everything was relatively quick to reach.
However, the terrace door should be checked, as it is very difficult to open and close.
Otherwise, contact with the landlords was smooth and without problems.
We would love to come back!!!!

Beautiful holiday home for families
The holiday home is very quiet. It is very well equipped. Everything was available in the kitchen. Highly recommended for children. The highlight for the kids was the trampoline. A cottage for relaxation for the whole family. We will gladly come back.
