Comfortably furnished holiday home for max. 4 persons
The typical Eifel house from 1823 has been completely renovated and partly furnished with antique furniture and accessories

The house has a beautiful fitted kitchen on the ground floor, a living-dining room with a cosy tiled stove and a small Eifel library, as well as a bathroom (shower). Free use of high-speed internet (Eifel DSL) via WLAN.

Upstairs there is a bedroom, an open gallery with 2 single beds and plenty of space to play, as well as a bathroom (bathtub).

Bed linen and towels can be provided on request.

Location and surroundings of object

Our holiday home "Zum Lindenfeld" is located in the middle of the small Eifel village of Deudesfeld, in a very quiet location without through traffic. Deudesfeld is located directly on the VulkaMaar trail, Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2021, and is also an ideal starting point for the premium hiking trails Eifelsteig and Lieserpfad, the Hinterbüschpfad and various local circular hiking trails.

The Vulkaneifel is one of Germany's best-known biking regions. The Vulkanbike Trailpark offers a total of more than 750 km of signposted routes with 17500 metres of altitude. Those who prefer a more leisurely ride prefer the nearby Maare-Mosel cycle path from Daun or the Kosmos cycle path from Meerfeld.

You can swim at the Meerfelder Maar with its great beach only 3 km from our holiday home.

In less than half an hour's drive you can also reach

Deudesfeld has - which is unfortunately now very rare in the Eifel - a good infrastructure: we have two restaurants, an Edeka shop and an (excellent !) butcher. You can therefore get the most important groceries and also fresh bread rolls in the morning just a few steps away from the holiday home.

Eifel vacation

We (2 adults and 1 child) felt very comfortable in the holiday home.
Nothing was missing, it was very clean and well equipped.
There isn't much going on in the village of Deudesfeld, but it's perfect for relaxing and sleeping in in the morning.
In just a few minutes by car, you can be back in the hustle and bustle if you want.
Cycling, hiking, good food—all possible in the Eifel.
Very relaxed and friendly people stood out positively to us, which is why we will definitely be happy to return to the Eifel.

Cold Eifel. Warm fireplace. It doesn't get cozier in winter.

Successful combination of an antique house from 1823 and modern (bathroom) furnishings.

We have been hunting in Deudesfeld for over 15 years, and we have never felt as comfortable in the freezing Eifel winter. The wood-burning stove with well-seasoned firewood is fantastic! My girlfriend didn't want to leave at all.
However, you have to learn to understand how to operate the night storage heating.
Tip: When there's frost, the stairs are "very slippery." Some salt or sand could help prevent slips. Perfect communication with the landlords. Thank you very much. We will come back next winter.

Restful days in the Eifel

The holiday home is located in the middle of the small Eifel village of Deudesfeld, yet quietly situated. Here you can relax well from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and really unwind. Apart from small details, the furnishings offer everything needed for the most beautiful days of the year. The two bathrooms are not only practical but also very modern for several people. Everything gives a clean and well-maintained impression. In addition, there are many lovingly presented objects from earlier days to admire. Unfortunately, one week was not enough for thorough viewing of these items, nor for delving into the library of regional literature. A small garden invites you to linger outside. In the immediate vicinity of the accommodation, there is a grocery store, a butcher, and a restaurant. In the surrounding area of the town, hiking can be excellently enjoyed on well-marked trails. Popular destinations like Trier, Koblenz, or Luxembourg can be reached relatively quickly by car. We felt very comfortable there and would like to come back.

Great house with excellent amenities

We had a wonderful week in the Vulkaneifel. Many sights are easily reachable from the house. The house itself leaves nothing to be desired. We will come back.

Well rested

The house is located in a beautiful natural environment. Maars are in the immediate vicinity, as well as castle ruins. Since the highway is also not very far away, we undertook trips to Trier, Aachen, and the Moselle - Aachen is recommended. The house itself is very good - nicely furnished (no kitsch), everything clean, and everything is available in terms of equipment. We were two in the house, so it is optimal for that. Can absolutely recommend it.

Pleasant holiday home stay with very good care.

Family trip with four people over Easter.

Very pleasant communication in advance - thanks again for the cleaning being done before our arrival despite the holiday.
The house was very clean and well-equipped - lots of pans, a good oven with enough trays, sufficient cooking utensils, enough dishes and glasses. We also found enough dish towels and there was also a supply of dishwasher tabs - thank you.
The wood stove was very easy to light and makes everywhere wonderfully warm.
The neighbors around the house are very pleasant and helpful.
We really liked the information about the Eifel region and hiking tours that we found in the house. Around Deudesfeld, there are some very nice tours for which you have the right map sections directly in the house.
We liked the seating areas around the house, a small lawn with a bench slightly elevated, or the bench in front of the house have sun almost all day - wonderful to sit down there with a book.
And for cat lovers, there are enough "cuddly" cats in the nearby and further village area. You can also get bread rolls in the morning at the small Edeka and at the Eifel butcher - it's best to pre-order at Edeka (only on weekdays). The small Edeka has the basic supplies - unfortunately mostly not organic, at the butcher you can get delicious sausages and meat from the Eifel region.

We would definitely choose this house again.

Active holiday in the romantic volcanic Eifel

Beautiful and indeed very romantic holiday home in a fantastic location in the Vulkan Eifel. In great weather, we explored the nearby and further surroundings on foot and by mountain bike, swam in the Meerfelder Maar, and relaxed on the adjacent meadows. For evening relaxation, the delicious traditional cuisine in the nearby restaurants and the small garden with a grill (!!!) of the holiday home also invite you. The holiday home itself is lovingly and very carefully furnished (everything you could wish for and could need is available). Special highlight: The traditional, yet functional and modern furnishings harmoniously blend into the area. All in all, a beautiful vacation where we could really unwind and for which we would like to thank our hosts very much!

successful hiking holiday

In addition to great weather and a fascinating environment characterized by mountains with beautiful views and castles, the area is also traversed by volcanic features such as maars and water-filled craters. Every hike becomes a great experience. The vacation house is tastefully furnished and exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness was also superb. In the evenings, we could enjoy the tranquility of the Eifel. The living environment and the amenities left nothing to be desired. We have not seen everything yet, and will soon book another short vacation with the Hennig family.
